Subsonics still have one major advantage, even on the bsv - they're not tracer rounds. No laser bullets means you're harder to track down when shooting
Adding to this, they do not actually carry a reload speed penalty on any weapon. A penalty is listed but not actually coded, so no difference can be measured.
Some guns don't even actually lose bullet velocity, the G57 is one such example as the only difference between the basic magazine and subsonics is that the subsonics maintain max damage an extra 25 meters.

Y'know, I like to play a stealth recon / glintless sniper, so the ACTUAL glint limit of 6 (I thought it was 4 so I was sniping with a 3x lol) and the bugged out lever action are VERY good informations

Suggestion : you deliver a lot of data in a short time. Maybe could you overlay a table of data to complete audio commentary (by example, the headshot multiplier section).

Excellent tips, TCW! I specifically came here - well, I watch every single one of your videos anyway lol - hoping there was some clarification on Scope Glint ( 5:27 !) because I remembered it always being Glint @ 6x+ and No Glint @ < 5x . Really glad to see that specified. Also, those Suppressor tips were excellent. I didn't realize a few of them.

@Trepanation21 That will be the case with the Season 7 patch coming up this week. Scope glint at 6x magnification and up.
Maybe add some general hints, like shoot at the enemy, don't ADS all the time, ping enemies, don't call for help when the enemy is near and shoot at vehicles? Seems a rare knowledge 🤔

woah that is strange with the flash suppressor for vault weapons. I wonder if it has any bullet velocity drawbacks or bullet spread? I know in bf3/4 it had a downside of more bullet spread that was never mentioned in description.
SammyBoiii had a testing video that seemed to indicate glint on the four times scope on SMGs and snipers. I'm not sure if it's still accurate.

I've not seen most of these secret reloads before they're awesome! When I first saw a few in bf5 I used to think it was the animation glitching lol before I realised it was intended

I need a recommended setup for pump shotgun. What type of shell do you suggest on 1st slot? #00 or #01.
I use Flechette Shell on the MCS and the drum mag on 12M.

I would suggest against binding steady scope and aim down sight to the same key as often you need to use your scope to scout locations, then when you do find an emeny you will have ran out of breath.
Really good video. I always thought that normal sprint and traversal sprint had the same ready to fire time, now I'm going to use normal sprint more often. Something I would liked for you to touched is the difference in sound. Is normal sprint also quieter than traversal or nah?
Just from hearing my own footsteps I‘d say traversal is a bit louder than normal sprint.
Any idea if bipod makes a diffecence while 'on' but not actuly touching anything, like from normal standing position for example
Nice Video! Do you for the SWS if the Ghost Hybrid with its 4x or the PSO 5x are also glinting? If the raven 4x does why should they not. But you never know with this game
It‘s only the Raven that glints. The PSO doesn’t. I tested it.

To add onto your out of ammo tip, if you run out of ammo for standard rounds, and you have two standard round variants, you will still have ammo for the other type, so taking double standard magazines doesn't seem like a bad idea.
Does the vault flash hider also reduce the firepower like the light supressors?
I haven’t tested it, but there‘s nothing shown in the stats.
Hey there,so the January update came through. It's ok,except using a console Xbox I now do not see a way to customize my primary weapon any longer while in game play.
Looks like Avancys lmg has more recoil, too lol.

I use BSV-M a lot, so it seems Subsonic and Normal ammo is completely the same for it?
Should I be using Subsonic ammo then?
Use Subsonic. Still has the advantage of no tracer visibility.

Is the Aim trainer just a server on Portal? I didn't even know that was a thing. Also didn't know about the cross hair showing fire mode that's awesome.
The Aim Trainer is a Portal server. You can host it yourself with the code AANJ7Z.
For Secret Reloads i think it's a chance of it doing a secret reload animation like a 1% chance of it doing it.
Really hate that they have raven with glint - couldn’t they add a description on scope regarding glint😢
Does "heavyweight" weapons effect speed in any way?
2 things about the gvt... i think its fair that it has no scope glint, because its such a slow flyin bullet, and also weak. second, you can only 1shot-headshot targets up to 100m (and that is with high power)

wenn die klassen eingeführt werden hoffe ich inständig das die engineers gebufft werden, besonders Lis (3 raketen um nen panzer zu zerstören sind echt zu viel), wenn ja, werde ich definitiv wieder aktiver BF zocken. denn im schießen bin ich echt scheisse, aber es geht nix über das gefühl einen vollbesetzen panzer zu zerstören :)

Question for anybody that uses volt weapons. Now, is it just me or do they feel like they have a lot more spread than the bass game weapons and if they do, I really hope they can fix that, so the vault weapons can compete with the base weapons in the game.
Vault Weapons receive more updates so I can compete with the base game weapons. They‘re better already but still need some tweaking.
in 7min, why is your recoil so low? what setup is this?

I also noticed (IMO) zero difference between Standard or Heavy Bullets with a Sniper Rifle at any range.. They are all 2+ shots on body with Snipers. Snipers are so damn underpowered in this game that no matter what range you NEED to headshot. While upper body (atleast chest/breast and higher) should be a One Shot, One Kill. But that's what you have with FPS games Snipers doing no damage to body while people can snipe with Revolvers or SMG's at LONG range

I’m Confused why you should other weapons that have changed weapon sights but didn’t show them 13:00 i personally know the optics but you used the wrong ones for the skin

Recoil looks so weird with controller.
I'm so sick of how suppressors are implemented in FPS games especially BF2042. It's one thing to get a damage reduction as well as a distance reduction which btw irl they don't affect bullet velocity but suppressors are basically useless because you still appear on the minimap. Suppressor mean jack if I cant spray a squad down because after I shoot within 2ft the rest of them see me lit up like a Christmas tree it's ridiculous

(Don't brake the sound barrier)
In the Game their are usefull becauce the only way to detect them is geting hit
Wich means that if You miss the shots
It is dificult for the enemy to hear that he is geting shot at
