Great video! One small thing is that the FOV slider in this game sets vertical FOV which is different than most games. You'll need an FOV calculator to find the horizontal FOV, which most fps gamers are more used to. I use 73 FOV in bf2042 which gives me a 105 horizontal FOV as an example.
I have just realised this and also realised thats why my FOV is weird for me. Is there a reliable FOV calculator for BF2042 or can i just use any i find ?

my annoying problem at this(pc) game is team and my side players name/colors start to fade away after +20 meters ... i tested many diff(videos) variations and colors etc etc and defaults... still names and colors start to go invisible ..cost me many deaths :D :D .
for the concussion effect, i recomend light, since Its easier to see people when you get flashed. I was disoriented at the start when the screen turned black lol. great vid! as always!

I prefer to have the auto-throw for grenades turned OFF. Just like you wouldn't want to equip a rocket or weapon and have it go off immediately without aiming, for me the same it true for a grenade or knife. Personally I want to be able to perfect my grenade aim before I throw it.

Thank you for the timely reminder. I am enjoying Killswitch - its a nice mode, the bit I dont like is the repetitive spawn traps that occur if you end up playing with people who dont team up well, and this gets worse if you play against a decent team.

I don't really have any special settings. I use the Standard Curve, 50% stick acceleration and sensitivity of 45. The rest is still at the default values. But in general I found that playing with a controller feels a lot better after Update 6.0.

I've honestly not noticed any difference in Season 6 and I'm playing on PS5. Ofcourse it's always harder to only have your thumb for aiming, but I should mention that bc of crossplay and my cousin on PC, it's a way more level playing field on console and I strongly advice against crossplay.

If you’re on an OLED, I highly recommend using Pixel-Shift in the monitor’s settings. This will prevent every pixel from getting burn in when the panel detects an image has been static for too long.
I only just realised that Lis missiles are affected by vehicle sensitivity and they're not just locked at the same setting for everyone. No wonder I can't aim them for shit.
I turned camera shake amount to 100 🤣 It makes for a much more rewarding feeling when you manage to C5 someone in a vehicle and the environmental events just look cooler. I recommend it to 100... for myself at least...

Just a question ? Ever since the update when playing Team Death Match and Solo/Co-op there are No more bots (AI) filling my lobby ? I'm Just running around the map on my own ! Am i doing something wrong ? before when i played sometimes i was the only player vs all bots.
is there something to make the crosshair completely opaque on console, even with thick crosshair, in vehicles its still thin and sometimes comepletely unable to see when looking towards the sky
I bought a Logitech f713 controller for my pc en try to play bf2042 with the controller. It works nice but there is no aim assist. I have tried every settings. What is the problem u think?
No idea. Normally this can happen after an update and then the creator needs to save it again and everything's fine. And that's what the guy usually does. Not sure what's happening this time.

highest fov on controller gives less recoil so i always use highest i can

HUD padding might be a good setting to periodically change slightly if you are playing on OLED, to prevent permanent burn-in.

4x and everything smaller used to have no glint if i remember correctly
This was changed a while ago. Now 4x and higher glints. And only everything below 4x doesn’t. Except Ghost Hybrid and Target 8T.

What happens if you have automatically throw and you have two grenades (eg smoke)? Does it throw both one after another? It used to.
It only throws one. I use smoke in the video. The issue with throwing out both was solved a few updates ago.

Yes it’s still a thing. I wouldn’t expect a fix before the next major update. They wrote on Twitter that it takes more time than expected to fix it.

Dpi is at 600.
Does 2042 use vertical fov? So 68 vertical is 100 horizontal? Isnt 80 pretty high? I might be wrong 😂
It does use vertical FOV yes. But with the scale of 2042 it doesn’t feel high.
