@@newt6639 I looked at the LGC2 but ended up with the Samsung 34" Odyssey OLED G85SB, 0.1ms, 175Hz. No regrets apart from it's not 4k. Doesn't bother me too much.😄
I dont think lows are truely better on Ultra as my results are definitly within the margin of error, i.e. any 1-2% differences can probably be attributed to chance.
For the Fullscreen Mode @2:30, just click the game and hit the windows key (On Keyboard) to bring up and bring down the start menu. no need for a second application. Edit: DLSS Quality Mode provided a 20FPS improvement on my end. I have a 2070 Super Max Q. Otherwise I gained 10-15FPS from your settings and it's more consistent. Thanks a lot man!

For future reference, You were partially correct with nvidia low latency, It's not necessarily for a lesser system, it's for when you are bottlenecked and your cpu isn't as good as your gpu, other than that scenario it's always reccomended to just have it enabled like you have it. Hey! I have a 3600x + rtx 3080 10gb VRAM (+ 64gb ram) should i have Nvidia latency on enable + boost? Or just enable? My CPU is heavy bottlenecked i think
Had anyone else been having issues with the brightness in the game. I originally played with HDR turned on and noticed some things affecting the HUD elements like Kill feed and such. Over bright clouds and rocks washing out text on the screen. Even with HDR off it seems bad. Anyone else have this issue? Great guide btw. Showing why you’re picking settings is way easier to follow and choose for myself. 🙂
Do you have a displayHDR of 600 or higher then turn on HDR, if lower your better off finding a guide online to set your screen colors and settings. I have a hdr 400 and without it the games look better and i have more options in my option menu(like black levels and all that)
@@NL-Chaos Mine is HDR 1000 and many things seem way too bright. I deleted the cache once and it looked good for a bit then became too bright again. Not really sure what is going on.
@@NL-Chaos It's done it on more then one screen and the newest one I haven't changed a thing. It has also done this with two graphics cards both new and old drivers. Muliple cables too including the ones from the screens box.

Great performance guide with data to back it up. However PLEASE note, I know it’s not possible to test but some of those recommended graphics settings does reduce your performance more when you’re playing 128 conquest. Especially in areas with many players, Hugh number of objects or modes like rushXL. Mesh and lighting on medium for example has a performance hit. I turn these on low due better uplift in congested areas. My competitive settings, textures & filter on ultra, everything else on low or off. 1440p native. Under nvidia control panel, imaging scaling sharpening to 45%. Color settings gamma to 1.03, digital vibrance to 56%. I’m running a 4070ti.

You’ll always get better performance with bot matches, less stress on system resources. The margins of the difference in graphics settings are wider in a real match. Please check. I did all of this video and aditionally added the Fluid Motion Frames and Anti Lag from AMD app and go from 115+FPS to 180+FPS with a peak of 210 sometimes 😮 this is crazy! And the game looks good! Thanks TG for this guide! 🙏

Thank you, this helped remove the stutter in my game, I appreciate that. I did test DLSS Quality on my end, using the same settings, except HBAO enabled I was able to go from 125-138 fps with my 3060ti (1440p) Tested it in a empty field where my frame rate was consistent, off on, off on every time 120's to 130's not a dramatic difference but still 11% so it made up for the HBAO and than some. Though I do know it can vary from system to system, still shocked you manage to get such high framerate in this game, I get 4080, and i9 but dang 300's this game basically maxes out my cheap Ryzen 3600 lol
Thanks! followed pretty much everything and hardly noticed a difference in graphics but now have steady fps with my 6700xt. BTW (not sure if its just my pc) instead of opening another another program to go into fullscreen, you can hit the windows key then click on the game. Normally works first try, sometimes have to do it twice.
I noticed the same thing about textures. I was playing with default settings and thought "damn this game looks really good, maybe I should turn down my settings to get more fps" only to find out that the game was already on a mixture of medium and low settings. Crazy.
It's refreshing to see a performance tweak video with the person knowing what he is talking about and not just those people who copy paste the same shit over and over like changing startup command lines, switching GPU's to performance mode and all that crap us more technical gamers know does nothing.

Thank you for the video I really appreciate stuff like this while still rocking an I7 8700K, but in my opinion I would not recommend putting mesh quality lower than high as for me anyway I've had moments where certain vehicles turn to blobs it becomes annoying to take out drivers.

On a new rx 7600 card I found absolutely no performance difference with ray traced ambient occlusion on or off, but with it on, the game looks leagues better and I have found some cases where visibility was alot better
Appreciate the recommendations. Your video assumes every one is running Nvidia GPUs, perhaps worth adding a disclaimer at the start of the video. BF2042 also doesnt support FSR. That being said I noticed similar FPS improvements using a 6800xt with your setttings.

naah you can't just skip things like raytaced AO, i have a 3070 and a 1080p screen so i have some space for gpu intensive settings, but i would like to see how it looks compared to SSAO and HBAO, because even tho HBAO looks "Fuller" for me it looks way to dark in contrast to environment around so i chose SSAO for now and searched for the settings comparison video to see RT AO, this is how i got here. Also would be nice to see gpu and cpu load for different settings. Other than that - Great video!

My COD Sett were: 1440p, 110fov, 800DPI, in game sens 5.
using the lights on medium Fix the low ress textures on rocks, you wellcome about antialiasing is very blurry on 1080p, in high is for high ress monitors
i5-12600K with 3060ti running 1440p 150fps (170hz screen), better fps with DLSS quality than native res, haven't measured though. But runs better in 64/32 player games.

Hmm havent had this exact issue before however for YT videos I would recommend to simply download the source using 4kvideodownloader. I also use that tool for my bitrate & quality tests
Thanks for doing all this work. I learned alot. Reflex is designed to improve latency, not frames. Not sure how it does it. I saw on another tech channel he tested this with Nvidea latency program. Can reduce click to register by quite a bit. All graphics on low. Native res full screen. No dlss. Reflex on + boost yielded best response time.

Might also depend on the system for sure. Would be surprised about no loss at all though considering the large penalty I found. Then again, I simply lacked the time do test on more systems for more consitency...

Did you try resetting your graphics card drivers ? And resetting your screen to factory defaults ?

I get massive frame drops with the thermal scopes hopefully the dof works for me
got some frame drops today that I had never had...and come to think of it I was using a thermal scope. Did you find a fix / setting to help wit this?

performance for 4K
balancer for 1440p
quality for 1080p

You have to clear your system cache including the direct x to see the visual differences.
What cache are you talking about? Not sure this is relevant as you can in-fact see a difference between high & ultra
@@TechGuides direct x cache. You can find it when you do the system clean up. I usually have to do that when they are big updates on warzone.

Reflex is designed to improve latency, not frames. Not sure how it does it. I saw on another tech channel he tested this with Nvidea latency program. Can reduce click to register by quite a bit.
All graphics on low.
Native res full screen.
No dlss.
Reflex on + boost yielded best response time.

Might also depend on the system for sure. Would be surprised about no loss at all though considering the large penalty I found. Then again, I simply lacked the time do test on more systems for more consitency...

DLSS performance or lower really makes using Liz's rockets hard when using boost function. Makes the screen really blurry.
