Go to edit your power plan, click Advanced Settings, then USB Settings, then disable USB selective suspend. Made the game way smoother for me. No more FPS dips when I aim at other players.
you're the man, much appreciate, one comment: when you go to firing range you will see that reflection and volumetric fog settings have an impact in resolution of the effects (how scene reflects on the floor and how light is spreading through the fog around the lights - if not low, low means off)
Man I just discovered that game at your channel. It looks good. I even invited my friends to play on December 11. Thanks again for your advise and analysis. Please keep it up. 💪
15:40 Wrong. Low is noticably blurrier in motion than Medium/High. Anything higher enables chromatic aberration, which obviously makes the image blurrier. So use med/high for best motion clarity. Great video 👍
I have a Radeon RX 6600XT and I used to get incredible frame drops even though the game kept running at over 120FPS with SAM. If you have a similar issue, just disable SAM on your Radeon software
To resolve heavy frame drops and stutter you just need to set your graphics settings, hit g to recompile shaders and restart your game! Smooth after that.
I have a very good system and it doesn't matter what I do I tried low, mid, high, and everything in between, I can get 200+ fps at max settings if I want but the game stutters so bad it's almost unplayable, alot of people are reporting bad stuttering in this game and it's slowly killing my enjoyment of it. EDIT: The pc is a 14700k, rtx 4080, ddr5 7000 with high end accessories and peripherals. After making this post I turned rebar off (thru inspector and bios) and the game now runs pretty much flawlessly at any graphics quality.
I was looking around the other night trying to find the same fix for my bad stutters and I found one that actually worked for me! It’s the shader compilation, whenever you lower your graphics or raise it from its default settings it has automatic set it doesn’t re compile shaders! Here is the video I found it from, the part you wanna skip to is the 8:20 mark! Happy hunting ruclips.net/video/xk1On1-H9ZM/видео.htmlsi=vcL-BvsA2ZgbCaBy
Had this issue with an amd 7900 XTX but after messing around in settings and turning off rBAR in buos menu everything now runs perfectly fina at 4k max settings
I failed to mention it's a 14th gen intel with a 4080, older drivers don't work, the shader recompiling trick doesn't work. One thing I just did that I did not think of is disabling rebar, I had it forced on thru inspector and that helped alot (also disabled it in bios) there is still a slight hickup once in a while but disabling rebar has had the most positive effect on lowering stuttering.
16:06 On practice range you can how low disables fog competely Medium- enables global fog High- adds foggy-illumanation from light sources AKA lamps but its VERY flickery and low res Ultra- more stable but still not not perfect Extreme- very stable and high fog res Ultimate- even higher fog res Going from Low to Extreme costs only 3 fps, but its on Practice range. Real map could be worse.
Runs pretty great on my system, 5700x and 2080 Super. All settings high plus DLSS Quality nets me a consistent 144 fps, which drops to 120-130 on heavy scenes.
Thank you for another great settings video. Question, did you notice that for some reason Delta Force messes with Nvidia's (driver level) V-sync setting? For example I want the V-Sync (in the Nvidia app/control panel) to be forced ON, but it will change to Use the 3D application setting which is the default option.
Did you ever press "G" to recompile the shaders and restart the game between some setting changes? Wonder if that makes a difference for the settings that don't seem to really be doing a whole lot.
I copied all these settings and it caused the worst screen tearing, stuttering and massive frame drops I’ve had. Only thing that fixed it was capping the fps at 144 for in game and black site. Before that I had fixed it by downgrading my gpu drivers to an older version (24.8.1) RX7800xt. Before I had copied these setting I had the older driver and had everything set to medium and frame caps at 144 and it was buttery smooth.
Thank You! ❤ Did you evaluate AMD with Nvidia, and does Resizable BAR result in lower performance? Did I understand this correctly, sir? I have a 7800X3D and a 4080; should I switch it off? I inquire because I have faith in your assessments; you are quite passionate about it, and I noticed you from the helicopter! 😁 Btw Delta force is Battlefield from Temu! 🤣
The reason you wasn't able to use the FSR feature could be down to the game running in DX11 as I had to remove -dx11 from the start up for the FSR to appear in the listing, hope this helps

On the "Streaming", it is named that way due to being feature of Unreal Engine, there is a few different ones Texture Streaming, Shadow maps streaming and others depending on the version of engine. But from what you showed it looks like this is texture streaming, by putting it a higher settings you allow more VRAM to be used and changes what level of MipMaps (Texture LOD) should be used and when. From what we see with your example, it looks like on lower settigns some decals and texture are not loaded at all to allow better perforamnce, while higher settings probably allow higher resolution textures to be loaded, also increases draw distance for higher quality textures and then gives you additional Decals to fill the world with details. Also I think this is the exact reason when you changed texture quality you saw no difference. My theory is that textures additionally limited by Streaming settings so to see high deffenition textures you need to have both settings at higher level. Otherwise even when you set Textures to Ultimate they still do not render since Streaming tells game to not load high resolution textures at all. If you can do additional testing I think people will apreciate it.
Really appreciate the insight!! I will do some additional testing :) Update: Textures also look the same with streaming on ultimate. Even after rebooting the game and after re-compiling shaders. The setting is either not implemented or broken...
