One of my crew, feeling ill and having had too much to drink, took this to a Bots mission. He is not a marksman nor our top killer, and that night he was blasting a VTuber stream in place of the gane audio. Somehow, he had the highest accuracy, shots fired, and kills of all of us by a large margin. I think he got posessed by the spirit of democracy itself that night.

I am told I bayonet charged a tank, and my fellow divers watched as the tank exploded before I charged into a group of multiple Devestators, landing many precise shots and ducking their punches to stab my bayonet in vital areas. Emerging covered in oil, I tossed a walking barrage towards a Jammer Tower, and bayonet charged a turret position with the orbital shells exploding all around. I have no recollection of these deeds, but I've been awarded many medals and left many divers dumb-founded at these feets of suicidal conviction that no other weapon induces while in my hands. I simply tell them my ancestors were an ancient warrior people from a land known as "Canada" in Super Earth's history, who fought in an ancient battle with similar bolt action rifles at a place called Vimy Ridge in an ancient conflict known as "The Great War".

The best thing about using the Constitution imo is getting in engagements 100+ meters away and popping off shots from great distances. That way you’re not running around like a headless chicken :)
It’s my favorite primary simply for its fun factor. The bayonet gives whispers to me like the Green Goblin mask. I’d be over the moon if they gave a stripper clip reload on full reloads though.
My buddies and I actually found it to be the other way around where it’s awful against bugs and less awful against bots. There’s just too many bugs swarming at once to make it viable, meanwhile devastators and Berserks can be easily dropped with well placed shots.

I like using guns like this. It forces me to practice managing engagement distance, maintain situational awareness, and calmly aim when being fired upon. I prefer using it against bots from prone or cover, going for headshots at medium range.
It's just something about the Constitution that makes me want to use it. Maybe it's the sound design, maybe it's the aesthetics, it's just so satisfying and cool. I legitimately cannot turn back to normal weapons now since I've adjusted my play style to still get hundreds of kills, bots or bugs, on even the highest of difficulties with it.
I run the Constitution with "Dog Breath" Rover and Heavy melee armor. Having Rover soften up and blind close-up enemies makes the melee so much quicker and safer.
Ancient Massachusetts tactical warfare. Sneak up to locations in the light/medium stealth armor, take out alarms first then big targets. Direct confrontation is not your friend with this one I occasionally bring it on difficulty 10, but only against bots. The bugs can tank the hits far better
I’m my opinion, this gun is best used paired with the Senator, the Thermite Grenades, The Auto-cannon, Rocket, and Gatling turrets, and a shield pack while running the experimental stims boost
Unironically. If you use it with a rover and focus on heavier enemies it becomes a lot more fun. I usually get 300-400+ kills on a bot mission with a constitution. I feel like Simo Häyhä
I think if they slightly buffed the damage it'd be better (say 220 for shots and 120 for the Bayo, plus a bit more stagger) This makes it a little more competitive with the Diligence CS, while not being an outright replacement since it has lower fire-rate and capacity and no scope, specializing more for medium-short range engagement. For me, against bots, the Constitution is better used as a back up to something like the GPMG or LMG, specifically when transitioning to new positions on the flank or rear of a horde, allowing you to get some cheeky shots off on mid-tier priority enemies before deploying suppressive fire with an MG when the horde truly descends. Also I think rounds reload is fine. When using the Constitution, unintuitively you should throw your reload discipline out the window and constantly be topping it off (like how these rifles were used IRL). You shouldn't let the mag run out if you can help it.
They should buff this to shoot the same rounds as the senator and keep everything else the same. It’s got terrible sights, terrible handling, slow everything. Just make it do insane damage would make it a TON of fun.
in defence of the ministry of space logistics of super earth, they didn't provide speed loaders (clips) because they didn't expect it to be used in combat. (should be an option tho)
Believe it or not, they could just take guns from the first game and put them into this that or they could just make up some bull crap we’re gonna have a lot of guns for a while also, yes I left a second comment
considering that arrowhead considers: liberator but shooty faster, purifier (sidearm edition), peacemaker (bigger edition), defender with higher stagger, and punisher (spicy edition) to be worth super credits, i think we'll be having no trouble with warbonds for a longgg time
@ and every single one of those weapons for some reason or 10 times better than the original or 10 times worse and there’s no in between there’s only been to that have been equal that and I would say they are equal because they sound amazing and feel amazing to shoot
by the way, you should weave shoots in between melees and dives for conssistant DPS. Sounds silly but i've seen a lot of people just spamming melee and dropping like a sack of potatoes.
I drop with the melee armor and a shield backpack and actually do some work with this thing! You can stand and stab several bugs at once with some good footwork. I also bring the senator and thermite grenades and that covers everything short of a bile titan
I actually prefer to use the Constitution against bots. It’s a headshot machine. Bots don’t tend to override your position as much, so as long as you have cover it’s solid. Bugs absolutely require crowd control and this does not have the rapid fire capability needed for them.
This gun was the best in the first galactic war I found it to be the best for stealth plays and against those illuminate scum I was popping their seekers like bubbles was bummed when it wasn’t in the game on release couldn’t be happier to have my baby back
Constitution is kinda fine how it is now, however I think it would benefit from a clip instead of rounds loading individually, another variant of the rifle without the bayonet and with a Scope, catered towards long distance could in return sacrifice the clip and melee potential to gain distance, making it a true Marksman Rifle. I think having both Varieties in the ways I described provides adequate options for different play styles.
tbh the Constitution is the optimal botdiver midrange sniper. Once you learn to aim with it, you can instakill any light & medium bot. The weapon's downsides force you to get good at it, but being good at it is easily the most rewarding thing in the game. If you wanna main it, I suggest getting used to it on planets with wide open spaces & having a full team. This weapon succeeds best when you're not the center of attention all the time. Bring the recoilless rifle or the spear always, so you can cover your heavy enemy weakness. The other 3 stratagems are completely open to the player. This is very much a support weapon, so under no circumstance should you be on the front line of any fight The bayonet is an EMERGENCY tool. Just because it has it and you see cool clips of the bayonet being used, please don't try to use it for anything besides finishing off an enemy that's far too close.
Truly a democracy moment also, it must’ve been extremely painful to watch all of your video guys go immediately to the gutter because they massively upgraded literally everything it’s time to redo all of your videos
I've said it before, it should just have night sights so I can see what I'm aiming at more accurately on really dark maps where the front post kind of gets too dark to accurately place shots... Or if they're up against rock faces
Using the viper commando armor or any armor with peak physique makes your melees do insane damage. You can one shot medium armor with this combo. I call it the Patriotic Penetration. (I 1v1ed a charger)
This gun is amazing as a challenge weapon. Im just hoping at some point they drop a "First Amendment" rifle. Same style but with slightly higher caliber (like 250 a shot), a stripper clip, and a acope loke that on the DCS. Would make for a legitimately good gun i would take everywhere. Also for those that like this gun, they may or may not be a mod you can install to replace the terrible irons with a simpler less cluttered design.
Oddly, I've had better luck with the Constitution against bots than against bugs Twigsnapper armor (Heavy, +melee damage, better handling) Secondary: Senator Grenade: Stun Support: Arcthrower Stratagems: Jetpack Eagle Airstrike [Flex] (suggest bringing something to deal with factory striders, gunships, or bot bases) Jet around and zap stuff with arcthrower. Kill hulks with arcthrower spam, or stun grenade + senator mailslot. Against tanks, isolate them then bayonet them to death from the rear. Is it the best bot loadout? No, but it;s fun and it puts the Constitution to good use,
I personally think half of the issues with the constitution would be nuked if they added a striper clip for empty reloads
and the other one if they gave it 300 damage
@@TrixterTheFemboyMaybe heavy armor pen instead

I am so glad I found this youtube channel, this is great.
This would be more fun if Helldivers had a conscript system where you could call in hundreds grunt soldiers and arm them all with Constitutions.
It’s not about shooting, it’s about reloading!
I got the game two days ago and have been using the Constitution a lot, and i like it. It's very helpful in one-shotting weak bugs.
1. play nids
2. forcefield backpack
3. stim booster
4. light armour
5. melee anything smaller than a spewer
3:03 he said among us 10/10 video would feed my kids this again
They are sometimes unironically useful on the start, because it has medium armor penetration instead of low of most early weapons.
Direct confrontation is not your friend with this one
I occasionally bring it on difficulty 10, but only against bots. The bugs can tank the hits far better
I’m my opinion, this gun is best used paired with the Senator, the Thermite Grenades, The Auto-cannon, Rocket, and Gatling turrets, and a shield pack while running the experimental stims boost
Its a diligence counter sniper that someone threw into the ocean for 10 years and then taped a knife to.
Nah, ive seen people downing screechers with the bayonet and great timing
Unironically. If you use it with a rover and focus on heavier enemies it becomes a lot more fun. I usually get 300-400+ kills on a bot mission with a constitution.
I feel like Simo Häyhä
still wont stop me and everyone else from using it, nothing says liberty and democracy like a garand thumb.
I main this rifle.
I wholly endorse this review.
I, for one, like the liberator throwback.
I think if they slightly buffed the damage it'd be better (say 220 for shots and 120 for the Bayo, plus a bit more stagger)
This makes it a little more competitive with the Diligence CS, while not being an outright replacement since it has lower fire-rate and capacity and no scope, specializing more for medium-short range engagement.
Funny thing is that it could penetrate heavy armor in the first game so it wasn't completely useless back then.
Gun's not just about shooting...it's about reloading.
They should buff this to shoot the same rounds as the senator and keep everything else the same. It’s got terrible sights, terrible handling, slow everything.
Just make it do insane damage would make it a TON of fun.
Wow i discovered this amazing channel today and i go heck for more vids
BOOM
Ceremonial rifle 50 mins ago
This is peak
in defence of the ministry of space logistics of super earth, they didn't provide speed loaders (clips) because they didn't expect it to be used in combat.
Idk the fact that a spear can shoot bullets is pretty neat. Pretty OP for a melee weapon being able to shoot and all.
I once did a base defence mission where we all equiped the constitution and used bayonet only.
It actually worked, and it was glorious.
WAIT THEY ADDED THE CONSTITUTION?? LETS FUCKING GO.
by the way, you should weave shoots in between melees and dives for conssistant DPS.
As a proud member of the church of the constitution I can confirm all of this is true
Personally I dawn the Viper armor and then go full melee. Which is how I treat The Constitution a melee weapon with a gun attached.
They should give it a ammo strip loader when you use all 5 shots like the senator speed loader
This is very much a support weapon, so under no circumstance should you be on the front line of any fight
The bayonet is an EMERGENCY tool. Just because it has it and you see cool clips of the bayonet being used, please don't try to use it for anything besides finishing off an enemy that's far too close.
I found that it's much better against bots than it is against bugs. You just have to use cover and think tactically instead of charging in.
so, that's the liberator
Truly a democracy moment also, it must’ve been extremely painful to watch all of your video guys go immediately to the gutter because they massively upgraded literally everything it’s time to redo all of your videos
fun fact for u the viper commando armor passive works with the bayonet
i got an idea: a constitution with a en bloc + bayonet that looks like a garand goes PEENG and is called the Declaration of Justice
The only real reason to give helldivers a bolt action is to have it be a powerful burst damage option.
I've said it before, it should just have night sights so I can see what I'm aiming at more accurately on really dark maps where the front post kind of gets too dark to accurately place shots... Or if they're up against rock faces
Everybody wanting a joke weapon to be serious haha
i think they should give it heavy pen., piece everything at a cost
It reminds me more of the MAS-36 than it does a Springfield. Especially with the bolt and it’s kinda stubby look.
if this had heavy pen it would be perfect
Using the viper commando armor or any armor with peak physique makes your melees do insane damage. You can one shot medium armor with this combo. I call it the Patriotic Penetration. (I 1v1ed a charger)
This gun is amazing as a challenge weapon. Im just hoping at some point they drop a "First Amendment" rifle. Same style but with slightly higher caliber (like 250 a shot), a stripper clip, and a acope loke that on the DCS. Would make for a legitimately good gun i would take everywhere.
Also for those that like this gun, they may or may not be a mod you can install to replace the terrible irons with a simpler less cluttered design.
lovely video you made, lad
Oddly, I've had better luck with the Constitution against bots than against bugs
Twigsnapper armor (Heavy, +melee damage, better handling)
Secondary: Senator
Grenade: Stun
Support: Arcthrower
Stratagems:
Jetpack
Eagle Airstrike
[Flex] (suggest bringing something to deal with factory striders, gunships, or bot bases)
Jet around and zap stuff with arcthrower. Kill hulks with arcthrower spam, or stun grenade + senator mailslot. Against tanks, isolate them then bayonet them to death from the rear.
Is it the best bot loadout? No, but it;s fun and it puts the Constitution to good use,
