Hey Guys! This is Ray! It has been 31 years since we did this... They wanted me to be as disgusting as possible... I LOVED EVERYONE that I worked with that week. Michael RIchards is a comedic genius, as is most everyone I dealt with that week. Thanks for remembering it and commenting on it. It feels like we did something worthwhile back in January of 1991.
I loved your performance so much. If I would have met Ray at that age I think we would have hung out. However, your evil smile at the the end of the episode while holding the statue, Ray did steal it lol.

As a person who wears glasses 👓, don’t be surprised about the sudden appearance of spectacles as we prescription types are deadly fast in the art of putting them on and putting them off. 🥋

one of the scnes from Seinfeld that is most fun to rewatch, the jerry George double act was always classic, jerry the cool collected straight man and George the bad tempered idiot.
Or rather, Seinfeld the jelly-backboned wuss and George the "tell it as it is" strong person

That guy was nuts. Hahahaha!Jerry had the statue, Ray comes and cleans the apartment, the statue is all of a sudden missing, the statue is in Ray's apartment, Ray admits to recently obtaining the statue. All signs point to guilty!
I watch it today, the statue was in front the microwave, Jerry and Elaine leave the apartment , statue still there. Jerry came back and it's gone. The only person who was there is Ray. Kramer would not take it, he's a bad liar. Ray says the pawnshop where he bought it yesterday , closed.
, after Jerry agreed to go and ask the clerk if the transaction was made (Ray had to lie at this point) then he offer to call the clerk to ask for a copy of the sale...Jerry gave up.
Before Kramer, disguised himself as a police man, arrived at Ray's apartment, Ray was holding the statue , with a grin on his face, (why would he , if he bought the statue)
I always thought it would be funny if in a later episode they found the statue in Jerry's apartment like behind the bread box or the microwave or something... Far-fetched yes but still would have been a funny reference of coincidence 😆

@@HQLBvideo That's what happened with Morty's wallet. When Morty went to the doctor, he claimed they stole it. I don't which season or episode, when Jerry is sitting on the couch, he founds the wallet lol.

I love the fact that we never really know for sure if Ray took the statue...or happened to own a similar statue.
Sure , it looks the same ...but what if Ray honestly got his statue at a pawn shop ?
What if someone broke Jerry's statue while Jerry was out, and hid the evidence?
Did Kramer still have a key to Jerry's apt?

Seems is the key word. Sociopaths always seem so harmless, that's their intent.
The evidence seems to heavily imply he did steal it, he was unhappy to see jerry at his apartment and if you look at the apartment living room it's full of antiques he probably stole while on other cleaning jobs, also before Kramer bursts in he's shown looking smug while holding the statue in private.
Of course he doesn't admit it. But come on, instead of how his looks, have you watched his actions in this episode?
He instinctively attacks and accuses Jerry and George of being insincere despite him cleaning there has just coincided with the statue disappearing and the same statue materialising in his house.
What are the chances he really holds a personal relationship with a pawn shop owner so he knows they moved to the other side of the world and can't provide a receipt?
What are the chances he really goes to university under a pseudoname?
He has a comeback for everything not because he's a sweet guy, but because he's a thief and a liar.
George is my favorite part of this scene

What are the chances that within the last two days George's 50 year old statue statue gets stolen and Ray buys an identical statue from a pawnshop dealer who moved to Singapore in between those two days right after selling the statue to Ray?
