I think it’s amazing that we are seeing a CHURCH do such amazing things and do them excellently for Jesus and not for the world. Not one Christian criticizes the world for doing things big but when a church does it they say look at all the money-making things they are doing. The question is: Are they doing this for the glory of God? Or for fun? The way they decorate the place, the lights, the stage, actually everything is exactly like a normal non-christian concert. God asks us to remain simple, he didnt ask for concerts like this. He just asked for our hearts to be truly his... Now, why do we have to complicate things? I think these people want to be like the world, but in the same time be with God. That can t happen.

I would give God the best i have to offer. But I will not copy what the world does. The world makes rock concerts? Some chrostians make too, because it s cool, right? Why not? the difference is we name it Christian rock. You think we can fool God? He knows our heart, our true intenions. We have to be different! This kind of concerts are not promoting an authentic relationship with GOD... You just have fun there, you dance, you sing, do whatever you want, but you forget the most important thing.. What's amazing is that those who didn't believe, believed and were saved in such concerts/productions. The devil wants to corrupt everything so it's easy for these things to be corrupted, but you can never judge the intentions of those hosting these events just by how it looks from the outside. The conferences with Hillsong are intended to be major events involving performing arts and high production value. This is not what Hillsong looks, sounds or feels like on an "every-Sunday" basis.
Volunteers, yet they charge an insane amount for their tickets so where is that money going? This is what’s wrong with Christian type gatherings. Secular gatherings actually pay their people money, it may not be much for everyone but they are getting paid. Christian gatherings like this just assume everything is free which is not biblical at all. Did Abraham expect anything free? Did Jacob? No they did not, they worked, earned, and paid their way....
The money goes back into the ministry. Also the gear they use is super expensive as well as renting out a huge venue and also running a TV station to broadcast all their content. There’s a lot that goes into doing what they do and that takes a lot of money. Their reach has been global though.
