Karsie Flotus speak for your fave only...beyonce is actually VERY MUCH involved in camera angles, production, lighting, special effects, ect. she doesnt "just" do that.
Gel Gaauur, but she isn’t “all” which was wales’ point. Is she all her dancers? Is she her assistant? Is she the cameraman? That’s the point they were making. Beyoncé is incredible but I feel like no one was discrediting her incredible versatility and control of creating and performing.
@@elgauuur6 bullshit...I'm sure she is involved with HER camera angles but she is not sitting in the directors seat and probably has no idea what is involved with a production like this....give me a break !!!!
Nicholas Osczypko i sais she is involved. i did not say she OWNS the thing. she’s one of the few who hire her own camera guys to get good angles....she’s the one who picks the angle she wants so she can look better.
She's purposefully counting the beats of the music for her team over intercom, like a conductor to keep the video transitions, camera moves, etc on time.
Watching this is so interesting and beyonce is so involved in everything she does I remember during the VMAS and before any award show she goes through live camera blocking during rehearsal so they know exactly where to be. But besides that the director on this was amazing she hit every single note and literally spoke for the whole 7 minutes. Wow all the pressure is on her I mean the performers are doing what they do but if she misses one cue or one time or cuts to one wrong angle that can be somebody whole show a whole career. Props to everybody who works on these shows we never see the behind the scenes
She's actually the assistant director reading the camera shots and timings. Hamish, the guy to her right is the director, but they've probably planned this all out so well that he doesn't need to say anything unless something sways from the run of show. It's also possible that he's calling the cuts, but his voice is just omitted from this recording.
I am learning how to be a director. Every time I get stressed, I turn this on and watch and suddenly I realise that anything is possible. This is a breathtaking performance and a real aspiration AND inspiration
definitely don't get the recognition they need for this work. it was well shot and definitely takes a whole team. something us average Joe's don't think about when watching the show. we just think, oh wow the artist is amazing, but this definitely made me think about the shots that elevate the performance for t.v. cause standing there in front of a stage jumping and screaming live does not do the justice the actual television version did. great job. I would like to see more.
This is just amazing, how she managed to stay calm and get all the numbers out will always amaze me! Loved the laugh when Bruno was doing the walk because I was freaking out over it. Also loved how you could watch Chris and Bruno dancing/preparing on the other screens while Beyoncé was on. You never get to see videos of the behind the scenes of things and it’s a shame because you don’t get to see all the hard work that goes into a performance like that. It’s just remarkable!
@@ThangNguyen-nu5vj She counts the bars right after that, so she is saying that they're gonna hold on that shot/camera for 4 bars, and that it's currently 1 of those 4, then 2 of those 4, then 3 ...
I'm not sure if the camera men rehearse the scripts, but the control room is rehearsed. She's just helping them by timing the cues. you can read it on the left bottom center. Shot # Camera #. They go through it with the performers first to make sure they are happy with the angles. Then they write notes like "pan left, pan right. Push into Chris. 360 around Bey + Bruno." The editors see the screens and they wait for her cue to transition. Camera men have someone wearing headsets guiding them into each position. Telling them to zoom in or walk forward. All of these directions come from the control room, so if they miss something (yes) the entire thing gets fucked lol.

Hi Hamish , extraordinary transmission which made you and your teams in Super Bowl 50. You 're a professional ecelente condidero a teacher for me. Greetings from Peru.
Hamish, Hayley, Rod, and team, thank you for the tremendous 40th birthday present, my favorite ever. Now I know how you got shots 133-136 so TIGHT!!! While watching I promised myself I would vision mix the Super Bowl 60 Halftime Show. What a success you created. GOOOO JOOOOE!

I love how she got excited and laughed when the camera switched to Bruno at the climax of his crazy in love walk up the stage at the perfect time.
Bet in rehearsals Bruno didn't do that spin move so when he threw it down for the performance she was surprised and laughed.
I thought she did bc Beyonce almost fell
