If you wanna hear some Black Sabbath that's a different than a lot of the stuff you've been listening to so far? Check out Planet Caravan, one of my favorites
Geezer Butler the bassist who wrote most of the lyrics, said that after the birth of Ozzy Osbournes first child Jessica from his first marriage, he pondered who decides which sperm cell fertilizes the egg. The song starts off with the point of view of the unborn child in the womb, then through the living years, and to the death we all will go through and even the possibility of reincarnation. And the song has such a killer groove to it as well.
on the money. friends bug out when I have them read and think about the lyrics. they all have trouble figuring out the beginning set of lyrics which is understandable but once I let em know I always get the "oh shit, yeah that totally makes sense.
YOUNG TEENAGER WHEN THIS FANTASTIC LP WAS RELEASED ! MY FAVORITE SABBATH LP TO THIS DAY WHICH I STILL LISTEN TO ! ROCK ON BROTHERS , YOU HAVE GOOD TASTE ! 🤘🏽🤘🏽
You guys need to check out Ozzy after he left Black Sabbath. His first two albums (Blizzard of Oz and Diary of a Madman) with Randy Rhoades on guitar is phenomenal. And the song "Diary of a Madman" is a masterpiece. If you check out any of these, I would absolutely recommend Diary of a Madman as a MUST LISTEN! .
Ozzy's favorite band back then and still today is the Beatles, imagine being influenced by the Beatles and then going into music and creating a whole new genre that would last 55 years later!!!!
All right my two new favorite metal heads! I’m loving your selections of Black Sabbath, Metallica and Iron Maiden lately! I grew up in the 80s with all this music on cassette! May I suggest my favorite Sabbath masterpiece you haven’t discovered yet - Off the first album - Bit of Finger / Sleeping Village / Warning. Enjoy! ;)
😂the way we felted 1st hearing Sabbath.. Never heard Rock like this.. Elders try to shut down the devil's music 😂😂 WE COULDN'T GET ENOUGH OF THOSE 3 INSTRUMENTS ❤❤
I wish you guys could have seen them in concert.. An older friend of mine took me to my first concert when I was 15 and it was Black Sabbath... I had no idea what they were. It blew my Fn mind !
Metallica - Wherever I May Roam Black Sabbath - Megalomania Iron Maiden - Aces High Judas Priest - Beyond the Realms of Death Black Sabbath - Heaven and Hell Ozzy Osbourne - Mr. Crowley
After Snowblind, you should check out one of Ozzy's solo works. He got kicked out of the band and resurrected himself with two stellar albums that proved his worth as the premier frontman. I suggest Diary of a Madman.
As you guys are doscovering;; you cannot beat Sabbath W OZZY! To me only Rush & Led Zep come close & even then it's just a mood thing. & Can you believe the first cassette I owned was Beastie Boys 'Liscensed to Ill?' But you dudes seriously should explore more RUSH; other than 'Tom Sawyer.'
This had to be in 1988, I was in high school and my mom's friend lifted me two cassettes. One was *Sabbath Bloody Sabbath* and the other was the Physical Graffiti double album by Led Zeppelin. My 17 year old brain was completely rewired!
You should check out something off of their 13 album. Sadly, it didn't have Bill Ward on drums, but technically, it's the last Black Sabbath album made it in 2013. Try End of the Beginning, God is Dead, or my personal favorite Dear Father.
React to Dirty Women from 2017 "the End" live tour. Sabbaths final performance and Guitarist Tony Iommi's last live guitar solo. A 70 year old iommi shows why hd is thd GOAT heavy metal guitarist.
I saw that you did AL DIMEOLA...Jazz Fusion. How about some jazz. Some serious meditation and warfare of the human experience... I RECOMMEND JOHN COLTRANE "LIVE AT BIRDLAND" 1963... The song/s "Alabama" or "Afro Blue". As black men it should be manditory to hear this.... You may recognize one of the songs from a very famous movie... ENJOY!
You guys are going to be getting into Dio here pretty soon. I can just see how it's getting there; and I for one, am looking forward to it with anticipation 🤘
Thing I discovered about Black Sabbath as a 16 yr old kid was, I could spend my paper route $$ on their album and get 3 songs within each title. Gotta stretch that $$ bro! 🤘
Love the fact that you're digging the mighty Sabbath.. SEE?!?...it ain't THE DEVIL..its not EVIL..its a buncha hippies with heavy tendencies that broke new ground..ALL peace n love and a little crazy hippie dippy stuff lol super cool...Tonny actually cut the tip of his finger off as a kid and MADE a new finger tip.. jamming out heavy metal guitar riffs😅 pretty cool.
I'm really interested in seeing you guys get to the Dio era of Sabbath. Totally distinct and Ronnie makes the songs his own, but at the same time still recognizable and iconic in their sound.
Wow.... I hadn't really paid attention to just how much Metallica had to have been influenced by that guitar Harmony for their song Fade to Black. Now I realize it's essentially a minor 3rd Harmony which is not that exotic but..... listen to it here and then spin Fade to Black and you'll definitely catch what I mean. Matter of fact that Harmony layering is all over the Ride the Lightning album. And then that amazing Funk riff in the middle sounds like it would be very much at home in a Rage Against the Machine song. So what are we learn here? Sabbath once again are the birth grounds of metal 8:00
$40 is a bit much idn't it? For a person earning $10/hr you are asking them to give FOUR HOURS OF THEIR LABOR. We got corporations price gouging us left and right. Don't be like that.
I know brother but we can't possibly hit all the recommendations with limited recording time and its wrong to accept peoples money if we can't deliver the product. Hoping to start streaming soon so we can arrange something more satisfying for both parties.
Sabbath is my favorite of all time. If you guys want to hear the GREATEST SINGER of ALL TIME, and also get the most views than all your reactions videos combined. You should listen to Dimash SOS. ruclips.net/video/AUARjexCTlQ/видео.html (turn captions on)

Frank Zappa considered Black Sabbath’s song “Supernaut” to be the perfect rock song. It’s worth a listen. 👍🔥
You guys took me back. Havent listened to this tune in years. Thanks for reminding me how great this album is! Peace!
Then after this Masterpiece, hit them with SNOWBLIND!!!!!!!!
Yeahhhhh😅🧐😉🙏💪✌️🫡
This is a good idea
Black Sabbath had so much groove in so many songs.
All I can say is Supernaut!
ELECTRIC FUNERAL!!
ELECTRIC FUNERAL!
Electric funeral!@@soulpatchjackson3076
I love how much you guys appreciate music like this with time changes, mood changes, and multiple riffs.
The mastermind in Sabbath is guitarist Tony Iommi. He is writing the most of the riffs.
Love seeing your Sabbath reactions!
If you haven’t done it yet…. INTO THE VOID!!!!
If you wanna hear some Black Sabbath that's a different than a lot of the stuff you've been listening to so far? Check out Planet Caravan, one of my favorites

That's my favorite "not so famous" song from Black Sabbath
the smiling faces say it all!!!
You were today years old when you realized your grandparents and parents were way cooler than you ever thought!
It’s so good to see next generation enjoying Sabbath.

@Bushanie24 it's definitely one of the more mysterious songs in their catalog.
Are you sure that's not Spiral Architect?
@kurtboyer299 it's what Geezer said, I think Spiral Architect has more to do with the double helix of DNA, but don't qoute me on that.
@@jeffreylauzon7630 Interesting! I always wondered about Spiral Architect!

Yes. The song that turned me to metal at the age of 12. No regrets!
My all time favorite Sabbath riff.
I wish you guys could have seen them in concert..
An older friend of mine took me to my first concert when I was 15 and it was Black Sabbath... I had no idea what they were. It blew my Fn mind !

Into the void is perfect example of stoner rock. Black Sabbath are grand fathers of stoner rock genre

Every riff and solo. Tony Iommi. Geezers words, Bill's drumming. You guy's are all right just like this tune. Cheers from canada.
React to Spiral Architect from the same album. Poetic and beautiful in equal measure. The greatest band ever.
You should check out something off of their 13 album. Sadly, it didn't have Bill Ward on drums, but technically, it's the last Black Sabbath album made it in 2013.

War pigs live in Paris 1970 you really need to react to it. Trust me
Snowblind should be on your list but the list is long They have so many great songs
Can't go wrong with any Sabbath beats, or Ozzy on his own afterwards!
snowblindd!!!
Metallica recorded a cover of Black Sabbath's 'Sabbra cadabra' in 1998... and they included a section of 'A national acrobat' in their cover.
