Jay, I just have to say that I enjoy the hell out of your channel. You are consistently reacting to outstanding music. But that’s only part of it. You’re passionate. You’re musically literate. You’re analytical. You’re knocking it out if the park, Dude. Keep up the good work. You’re one of the best doing it
As the years goes by this song proves to be one of my absolute favorites from the sab catalogue. An abundance of riffs thrown in and a vocal melodie to kill for
This is one of my favs from Sabbath, in my top 5 of all time. The rif is pure 🔥, the changes are incredible and I dig Ozzy’s singing (I always do but this makes me crazy) and the end is soooo dam 🌶. Im thrilled I got to see you react to this, I’ve been waiting for it!💜🎵💜
6 I don't see Iron Maiden guitar players re-creation of his guitar selling for 20000 I don't see Metallica's guitar player selling his guitar 28,000 these bands all set in their Mom and Pop's house listening to Tony auntie Bill Ward and the geezer they all grew up listening saying wow that's what I want to do
Love that I am not the only one who loves and appreciate Black Sabbath and their musical and lyrical skills. Every single member is talented and they put it all together to churn out some awesome awesomeness.
Very thoughtful and insightful reaction. To me, this is all about the creative miracle, which is man and woman. It is through our ability to create ourselves, our DNA and history, into another existence through our children. The child is being attacked so plainly these days, just violations of a child's spirit constantly. Ozzie is a shaman. The music speaks for itself. Enlightening. We are our own masters and only, as individual's creating, can we live truly joyful and fulfilling lives, along with all the other shit life brings. Thank you!
Now Jay, I have to give you massive credit for doing this track. Very few reaction channels take on this Sabbath tune. It's one of my personal faves. So underrated. Nice one dude! I grew up about 9 miles away from where Sabbath grew up in Aston, Birmingham. Lots of respect and peace from the UK. :)
Go thing you had that racing chair cause this one took you on a ride Jay lol. Sabbra Cadabra is about a magical mystical love and Bill is def rippin drums on that one, along with an awesome musical transition that I know you will appreciate, adding a new instrument element in the mix that I like to call the mystical synth!
There’s something really profound about the rhythm of the main riff in this song. It’s like the bass and guitar are going in and out of a swing, while the drums hold the swing throughout.
I really like that you know what your talking about unlike most reaction channels. It's because you actually have a true understanding of music and you know all the correct terms.
Jay Rah, thank you for doing this song. Glad you dug it. IMHO this is their best album and perhaps Iommi's best riff. If you haven't already please do Sabbath, bloody Sabbath off this album, again, Iommi gives a riff that many would consider his best. Sabbra Cadabra features Rick Wakeman from Yes on keys and this song is creative and powerful. Lastly, same album, Spiral Architect. Violins and power chords. Favorite line from A National Acrobat, just remember "love" is life and hate is living death. So true of human emotion and existence.
This is among Sabbath's very finest work! I had suggested this one for you last year when you just started doing sabbath tunes Noticed you had finally caught up with it.. Came to check the reaction .. Nice one! Killing Yourself To Live and Sabbra Cadabra ;)
This song was always a favorite of mine. It seems to be written from the POV of a child in the womb, sort of remembering past lives and wondering about the next life that he's about to embark upon. I heard a lot of Sabbath when I was like 11 or 12, cause my older brother would play their records.
Masterpiece. To go with all their other metal masterpieces. The absolute foundation for everything “metal” that followed. Every metal band hereafter owes Black Sabbath a royalty check.
The melody is so smooth on this joint. I like how Bill was going around the horn on that first verse, then completely went basic beat during that waa pedal session, and then finished pounding highhats. Most surprising, Ozzys vocals really stood out, his tone was maybe his best singing voice. Absolutely tremendous. Ill leave you with my standard Black Sabbath review..... Black Sabbath - song Black Sabbath - band
One of the greatest albums of all time, I'm so old, my friend's dad recorded this album on a cassette and just gave it to me, back in 1986 or so, he had a few Sabbath albums on vinyl, including the debut, which is another masterpiece. No internet back then, so when you were my age, pre-teens in 1986, the best way of discovering this kind of music is from an older person, my dad bought "Paranoid" on cassette and came into my room, put the tape in my boom box, and just started nodding to it. Those memories are what life is all about.
Great reaction to a superb song of head banging superlatives throughout the drums, bass, guitar and lyrics! Exceptional among many of their other songs!
I love to see young folks get in to some good old rock . Why because with all the racial shit people need to see our music had nothing to do with that and we love all .
I think this song is about a soul that has been reincarnated thousands of times and has be incarnated anew in a just-fertilized egg. In that brief moment, the soul has full awareness of past lives as it faces a brand-new lifetime. That’s the universal secret. You’re right, pure poetry and beautifully played.
Mate ... It is quality to see someone feeling the music I was raised on! This album was released the year I was born! This is my favourite on the album, after the title track that is... some really grimy riffs with some deep lyrics and fantastic melodies... sabbath rule
I'm glad you like this hidden gem almost as much as I do. I appreciate your clever, well-placed comments throughout songs at a perfect volume; much better than pausing, except when necessary, as many reactors do. I also appreciate your kudos for bars throughout and full lyrical analyses at the end of your reactions. Black Sabbath and Rush rule!😉
You have made my day... A wonderful song from a wonderful album. SBS was slightly experimental.. It worked.. Then back to basics with Sabotage.. Their first 6 albums are just classics.. Keep up the great work!
Love this track too! Idk if you've heard it yet or not but my favorite track off this album is "Sabbra Cadabra." Highly highly recommend this one. Keep on doing what you do.
You nailed it man. This entire album is considered one of Sabbath's very best. You could run the entire album and be very pleased. I've read that instead of recording the same place as Volume IV in Los Angeles, Tony and the band rented an abandoned castle in the Forest of Dean, and set up their equipment and recorded the songs in the castle dungeon...isn't that cool?...thanks Jay Rah...enjoy your holiday. 🌞
You Gotta hear the Song, ..."Roundabout" by the group called YES. ( From the LP)You won't believe what you're hearing!!! They have a video of them performing the song too...but please do the LP version first!) You'll thank me later!!! Then play the LP version of "Whole Lotta Love."..by the group...Led Zeppelin. You're gonna trip on the Masterful Musicianship of both! I watched you for the first time last night. And I said : Finally, someone who knows how to do a proper, educated, factual analysis! I have a lot of amazing Classics for you. Being that I graduated in 1972 and was the only Black in a Rock Band in the area! So I grew up with Motown but listened to everything from R/B, to Rock to Classical. So I can suggest lots!!! And what an amazing time to hear all this fresh new Music back then...that now will be New to you! Thanks. Mike Carter, Clarksville VA.
Love your reaction you totally get this band and the awesome talent they possess. Black Sabbath has so many facets of sound in all their albums. They are in my opinion the best Rock Band from there times. I think you would love the song called "Warning" which was on the first album. It's super funky, bluesy and rock all rolled into one and it would be great if you could react to it. The song is close to 10 minutes long but it does not seem like it because it switches up tempo and sound constantly.
Here are a few youll love just by your reaction to this the writ, wheel's of confusion, megalomania, hand of doom if ya enjoy I'll throw you a few more keep up the great content
Not quite brotha lol that'd be some aleatoric chance it's my first time listening to this song. I've got other Sabbath songs on my channel that precede this video. Also before I even conceived of my channel. My favorite song was Hands of Doom and I'd heard the popular songs like Iron man and Paranoid. That's why I won't react to em.
The first freaking time in a long time someone mention wheels of confusion thank you from the bottom of my black heart wheels of confusion is a masterpiece this is the first song I ever heard when I said oh my God what a voice what a voice
I think this song is abought abortion , the lyrics'' Invasion of the empty spaces is my one and only crime '' ''The unborn child'' ' Those that never ran'' when little worlds collide , I do believe that Roe V wade was heavy in the mind in the publics eye when this song was wrote ....
Sabbath proves again and again that great music is non generational.
Jay, I just have to say that I enjoy the hell out of your channel. You are consistently reacting to outstanding music. But that’s only part of it. You’re passionate. You’re musically literate. You’re analytical. You’re knocking it out if the park, Dude. Keep up the good work. You’re one of the best doing it
God bless your generous statements brotha. Glad you're enjoying the content.
I absolutely agree!!!
I too concur 😉💯
As the years goes by this song proves to be one of my absolute favorites from the sab catalogue. An abundance of riffs thrown in and a vocal melodie to kill for
After Forever is one of their overlooked songs that is really good.
This is one of my favs from Sabbath, in my top 5 of all time. The rif is pure 🔥, the changes are incredible and I dig Ozzy’s singing (I always do but this makes me crazy) and the end is soooo dam 🌶. Im thrilled I got to see you react to this, I’ve been waiting for it!💜🎵💜
it's much deeper than we think..
Killing yourself to live, Hand of doom. You have to react to these 2 masterpieces man. Sabbath is the greatest band ever existed..
I've done hand of doom it's actually my favorite Sabbath song even prior to making this channel.
Yea! Man! Perfect!!!!!!!! Miaa Sabbath
I totally concur they wrote the book hey with a stepping stone tell heavy Rock Hard Rock heavy metal whatever they wrote the freaking book
Add Megalomania to that list too. Killing yourself to live is a masterpiece, this guys right.
6 I don't see Iron Maiden guitar players re-creation of his guitar selling for 20000 I don't see Metallica's guitar player selling his guitar 28,000 these bands all set in their Mom and Pop's house listening to Tony auntie Bill Ward and the geezer they all grew up listening saying wow that's what I want to do

always a great musical trip with these guys
My favorite band of all time I’m addictive to this song it’s my fav ❤️❤️💖💖🤘
Hey brother, that shit was fire! You got a good mind, don’t let nobody fuck with it.
if you haven't already get on wheels of confusion, under the sun and hole in the sky.
Very thoughtful and insightful reaction. To me, this is all about the creative miracle, which is man and woman. Gotta do "Sabbra Cadabra" also from this album, absolute banger and one of Ozzy´s best vocal performances ever.
This is the sickest riff ever
Yes. I’ve always dug this tune. Quite the deep cut but supercool. Have you heard The Writ by Sabbath? That’s another bloody deep cut you oughta check
THE WAY I FEEL IS THE WAY I AAAM!!!
Deep cut, it's song 2 side 1 right after Sabbath Bloody Sabbath. It played the first time I played the album didn't have to dig for it 🤘
I was going to say the same thing a year later and found my comment below, deep cut dummy only on RUclips single play people 🤣
I love this song!!! Great reaction video man!!!
BS"D
I'm so glad you did this! The whole album is 🔥! One of my all-time favorites!
Im happy to say i got to see and hear this live.

Great song, a bop of a different kind.
There’s something really profound about the rhythm of the main riff in this song. It’s like the bass and guitar are going in and out of a swing, while the drums hold the swing throughout.

Thank you for knowing these guys and this music.
Throwin' in tha jazz fusion licks at the end!
Great reaction to a superb song of head banging superlatives throughout the drums, bass, guitar and lyrics! Exceptional among many of their other songs!
Listen to THE WRIT there is passion and anger in his voice but it's an amazing song about one of their managers
I love to see young folks get in to some good old rock . Why because with all the racial shit people need to see our music had nothing to do with that and we love all .

Always dig your reactions especially this one. Rock on man! 🤘
That was a great reaction to a superb track. My favorite and most poetic of all the Black Sabbath albums.
Great tune, great pick! Super hidden GEM!
You have made my day... A wonderful song from a wonderful album. SBS was slightly experimental.. It worked.. Then back to basics with Sabotage.. Their first 6 albums are just classics.. Keep up the great work!

Heard Madlib on the intro and stayed for the rest. Respect!
One of the best jazz rhythm sections in rock.

Sabbath Bloody Sabbath!!
Check out Anthrax - I’m The Man
The forefathers of all that is heavy. Fact.
Probably my favorite Sabbath album.
Black Sabbath.
Gods.
It remains my favorite Black Sabbath song of all time. This is my version of a heavy metal anthem
regarding rock albums, this one is up there with the best of them, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath.
Symptom of the Universe and Children of the Grave are a couple good one's! In fact, all Black Sabbath songs are good!
You Gotta hear the Song, ..."Roundabout" by the group called YES. ( From the LP)You won't believe what you're hearing!!! It’s a freaky song.. it’s a mind fuck, space traveling, reincarnation event packed into a musical masterpiece
One of their greatest!!!😆
Great reaction man!
You should listen to Never Say Die. Very underated album. Long live the Sabbath!
1974 Not Autotune...is not easy sing like this
The underdogs of doom are finally getting their due. We already knew . Avid fan since 1976. Oh and props to Geezer lyrics
Black Sabbath are no underdogs mate. Sold millions of records. They were huge
That's one thing about Sabbath : Great Riffs🎸. And to think they started off as a blues band called " EARTH ".
Gotta do “Wheels of Confusion” and “Megalomania.” No one does reactions to those, and the former may be their best song ever.
The first freaking time in a long time someone mention wheels of confusion thank you from the bottom of my black heart wheels of confusion is a masterpiece this is the first song I ever heard when I said oh my God what a voice what a voice
And on the 13th day, Black Sabbath created Heavy Metal!
The first half of this song is so repetative but groovy and mezmerizing. Some THC will have this song sending you to the stars
Another great reaction. You select some great tracks to react to.
You should definitely react to some Dio era Sabbath.
Yep!
It's coming!!
Very intelligent and insighful critics.
'Over and over' from the 'Mob Rules' album 🤞
Solid reaction!
U da man!!!🤘😎☠️🎸🙏😊
Wheels of Confusion from Vol4 is my favourite riff of all time.
Iommi is the Godfather of Riffage.
You have.. YOU HAAAAAVEE to check out the live version of "war pigs" from 1970.. Bill went insane (as usual) but in that he was extra insane
meta physical ...i believe geezer discovered things it took me few more decades to realize.
This song is specifically all about the mechanics of re-incarnation with a brief reference to abortion.
Only combat I have is to HIT the LIKE BUTTON anyway! So more people may see it! lol
Do "under the sun" from Vol 4! Excellent song similar to this one! Not a big "hit" but one of their best!
Love it
I think this song is abought abortion , the lyrics'' Invasion of the empty spaces is my one and only crime '' ''The unborn child'' ' Those that never ran'' when little worlds collide , I do believe that Roe V wade was heavy in the mind in the publics eye when this song was wrote ....
" Dont believe the life youre at will be the only one. "
Sabbath Bloody Sabbath and Killing Yourself To Live are my favourite tracks from this album. National Acrobat was superb though.
Yesssss
Black Sabbath best band ever
