  • I modded a Casio piano with a lofi looper... Go now, pick your favorite toy piano, music toy, small synthesizer, big synthesizer, anything that can produce sounds and install a diy lofi sampler looper (isd1820). Its some sort of circuit bending fun fun fun. This is my quest to very cheap but great gear!
    HERE the tutorial for the sampler module: • HOW TO DIY LO FI SAMPLER

      when you record at high volume the click is smoothly slower... :)

      @cwrigh13 3 года назад

      @@CommodoreCrush it depends on how you define "special"! The data sheet for the ISD1820 says 3v, but I've used 3.3v and 5v and it seems fine. If you don't have a variable power supply try using a breadboard power supply (these supply 3.3v and 5v). Good luck!

    This got me thinking. What if you created a box with the ISD1820 and an Arduino that Recorded then sent a sample to the Korg Volca via a short 3.5mm cable using wav to syrostream. korginc.github.io/volcasample/gallery.html
