It's not a complicated beat maker but a barebone sampler. It doesn't have so many knobs, controls, menus and 100 pages instruction manual like commercial professional hardware. Its simplicity makes you be immersed to sounds and its limitation stimulates your creativity. More than anything, you can feel the joy of playing with sounds.
It's for hobbyists and DIY music producers especially in Lo-fi hip-hop genre. The sampled sounds are very Lo-fi because of the analog voice recorder chips used to record sounds.

@@SnapBeat.official I own the 1010music Blackbox which is one of the best sample workstation I think. Really amazing and tons of possibilities but sometimes I love to use simple devices and also I love to build devices by my own.

@@SnapBeat.official Sorry for asking but is there a way to make the sampler even smaller? There is a lot of plain space above (Hopefully my english is understandable 😂) And: there is a new sampler called Chompi which seems to be a very successful kickstarter (but not really inexpensive). Maybe you can add some features like the Chompi ones.

@@SnapBeat.official It's beautiful!!! At the moment, I'm unable to invest in further gear for my new studio. .....Actually building my new micro project studio, as I write this. I just inherited my late father's home, and I'm turning one of my childhood bedrooms, into what will probably be my final creative music space. unfortunately I had to put out a fortune, to re-plumb the entire house in PEX/PVC, end of last year, and I'm just really strapped for cash right now. You see, I'm also a 3b lung cancer patient, and I'm sure you can imagine what that's like, in the U.S. I really really hope you have it still available, when I can come up with it, and buy this lovely sampler! It really is perfect for my sort of style, and gear list. Would look, and sound stunning next to some of my other small footprint machines!
All it needs is a handle and you can kickstarter it for £600
(Also I love it)
Oh, maybe It's interesting to prepare option holes or slot for attaching handle or any other option parts. My project is much cheaper than £600 :)

Thanks! it's using Cherry MX key switch which is popular for keyboard, so you can use its keytop from tons of selection.

I would have used a Teensy for extra DSP audio effects.

Whats your sample rate bit rate?
Hi, in standard mode, sampling frequency is about 12kHz. In high quality mode, it is about 20kHz.
