Great concept and video, I used to run a radio show and an FM radio station, it was the best feeling knowing that anybody and everybody could dial in from anywhere in my country, I used to get phone calls from people on the rural area that would tune in every week. It was an electronic music show.
Politically, this is SO important.
Enrico Monacelli's new book, "The Great Psychic Outdoors: Essays on Low Fidelity: Lo-Fi Music and Escaping Capitalism" quotes Guattari on the importance of "pirate" radio during the Marxist revolutions in post-war Bologna. The rest of the book talks about the harnessing of Lo-Fi as a tool for subverting the music industry.

thats a lovely idea! You could do a real radio show, but of course you wouldn´t...
How cool would it be be to have a few of these transmitters on the same frequency equiped with sd cards that for example play similar sounds but in different tunings. Then have them move around and sit in the middle with a radio and listen. That would be mixing by distance.....
yeah, this is a super nice idea... could be quite interesting
Actually it might be a cool way to process your sounds in a creative way like manually introducing interferences, tuning out etc. And of course you will be getting the "radio EQ", the static, maybe you can get some compression or distortion. Way more fun than using some vst.
Using the smaller FM transmitters meant for cars would be better for that. You can get all the effects of this in a short enough distance that you probably won't have to leave your house. Also, it wouldn't be illegal.

This can be achived legally by using those extremely low powered FM transmitters for cars. But it seems those have broadcasting range < 10m usually.
But practical way of dong pirate radio today is to rent some VPS and ran Icecast server there.

You can FM transmit with raspberry pi. Range is 100 meters maximum I think.
