Froome's riding style was so revolting I couldn't watch. No one twisted the arm of Sylvan Adams to give Froome that contract and Froome knows a cash cow when he sees it.

The financials was 3 years for $15M to sign across from Ineos, but with an agreement that Froome could end his career at ISN in 2025. The last two years of his career were definitely not a contract renewal worth another $15M lol. In fact it wouldn't surprise me if Froome is actually racing the last two years on little more than a Lefevere type contract.
Ask the idf. Despite all the friendships and knowledge the pressure to retire just has to be building from all quarters, especially due to his Pogi comments. His performances are I assume at least partially due to precaution as most likely he is clean(ish) as if he were to be 'found positive' that could finally end his contract and his career, as an influencer. If found out would do a Lance and 'come clean'. Interesting times.
