Thanks for this tutorial! Finally a way to spawn rigid body objects.
I will try to recreate this using a newer version of blender. 🤞
Thanks for this, I've been wondering about something like this for a long time! I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around animation nodes in general, so when cool tutorials like this come out, it's a huge help. Keep it up!
Complicated but easy to follow ! Did not understand everything but it worked in the end. Thanks for this tutorial, i hope you continue.
It worked fine in todays build of 2.8 only had to change object group operations to collections and that was it.
Hi Mina, the addon works perfectly in Blender 2.79 but the version for 2.8 apparently is not working for me, because the objects disappear after the object instancer node , what is the secret to make it work in 2.8? please some help.
Please elborate..so frustrated to get that far....did figure out the node...but naming and and such...
I changed group operation to Collection operation...that worked. and everything else is working. But collection operations doesn't have an object output - only a collection output. if you add a collection info and use the object output from there, it breaks the 2 object attribute nodes where you set the rigid body and kinematic booleans.
Ahh this tutorial looks like a great one to be revamped for 2.8+
hahah that wooden frame is nice! great tut again, many thanks!
this was such a helpful tutorial, thx for that!
Please list instructuions what to do when hitting the absence of group operations node.....no longer exists in 2.8 for ani. I assume it has something to do with collections now....frustrated ...the one tutorial i pick to follow to the end....lol
Ahh Did you figure out your problem yet?
It's now 'Collection Operations' (Add> Object> Collection> Collection Operations)
Awesome, exactly what i needed! Works great in 2.8 with a few minor changes in terminology and menu location.
(When doing the 3rd bake with group select, the option is under Object>Rigid Body Tools in the upper part of the 3d view)
Exactly what I was looking for, published exactly when I went looking for it :) I love this, thanks again for your great work Vit!
Thank you for this. Really clear and methodical tutorial covering a complicated topic.
Awesome, I have been looking for a way to do this for ages, will definitely use this for later :)
Hello Olav3D do you have any new version of this similar tutorial here Hope you will reply thank
bun satya I was actually doing research on it now, I still haven’t found a better way of doing it. Sadly
This is an excellent tutorial! Thank you very much.
Really great use of AN and very well explained.
I loved this channel. Subscribed!
Great tutorial, very clear and so many tips. Thanks very much! :)
Thank you
Thank you very much.:D This helped me a lot (AN 2.1) (I also tried splitting the list to have multiple objects emitted randomly, worded well) Also Baking was useful.
What version of Blender did you use. Thank You
@@farouksmith1964 I used 2.93.1
great tutorial and accent
This is very complicated, but I am almost finishing the scene, thanks a lot.👍👍👍👍👍👍
Try "ChrisP 3D" (google) custom AN nodes v2.1.4. if you have problems in 2.8.
The "Slice List" node isn't working for me. The TurnOnOff works perfectly, just won't interact with the slice. I'm using Blender 2.8 so I get an extra node in between called "create object list". Anyone have the same issue? Otherwise these tutorials are pure gold. Thank you so much for making them!
Thank you!!! That is exactly what i was looking for. You rock man! :c)
I can now sucessfully create an automated system to crash blender.
But, jokes aside, this works. What I wanted to do with it is just too intense.
Great tutorial. Thanks. How to use the effect in a closed rigid body object as bottle or maybe glass?
I can't get this to work with blender 2.83. 00:06:14 The only way I can even see my monkey particles is if I tick "unborn". If set to just "Alive", I get a particle count of 1.
Thank you very much.
I am searching a long time for this.
I tried so long with particles to pile grains.
Do You have tried with more then 20.000 objects?
How can I install ? and where to find it in Blender after intallation, please some help, thank you in advance.
I have followed the tutorial step by step and made sure I have copied you perfectly. I replaced collections with groups since they are supposed to be the same thing, yet when I get to there part where checking the boolean should turn the objects on and off It doesn't do anything. I cant see anything I've done wrong on my end. I think it just had to do with changes to the software. would you think about making a new updated tutorial?
did you find the answer to this?
Can anyone share a working setup for this in Blender 2.8? I'm following along but I don't get any suzannes on my plane as shown here at 8:18
github.com/JacquesLucke/animation_nodes/issues/973
trolololo lololo's
link is working well but the problem is that in 2.8 is no object group operations node yet.

@@o5tusk804 change object group operations to collections
@@MadhuPravin In which of the 4 node trees can we do that? thanks in advance.
You could teach us how to do it on Blender 2.8x :((( I can't figure this out
Just skip the first Group part, as you no longer need to make every spawn piece in the Rigid Body World group (2.8 do it for you automatically)
@@stanislav.shelest omg thanks so much I've searched for this group node for like 20 min

Wonderful tutorial! Any idea what might be happening if my Suzannes aren't falling when they appear? They just remain stationary. Would appreciate any tips!
Dang I've given this three hard tries and I'm so close. Fixed my first issue. Now, although the Suzannes are becoming visible correctly, their particles are participating in the RigidBody Simulation from frame 1. For example, a Suzanne will appear after it's particle has already hit the ground.
Great Work!! Many thanks
how to get the animation node?
24:42 baking timing
Nice tutorial,
How can i spawn multiple objects (grouped together perhaps)? Can't figure it out :(
Use Groups instead of object
create your random objects, group the objects. In the emitter field instead of clicking object, click group, then it will spawn random objects
Here is more information, if somebody wont to spawn multiple rigid bodies from collection in blender 2.8+.

for some reason it just doens't work for me
THX U! U ARE THE BEST!
great
So, you're using cinema4d, nor only blender.
That means mograf better then animation nodes?
didnt work...
I love you
