On Monday, May 28, 1984 I boarded an airplane and went to MCRD San Diego. The first day of USMC boot camp. Graduate August 17, 1984 M Co. Plt. 3051. First time I've ever seen this. I was busy the first time it aired. Standing on yellow footprints.

I wish the comments hadn’t been turned off on the Oliver Reed and Shelley Winters Tonight Show interview! It was fantastic and what Hollywood used to be!! Shelley was a loud mouth who wouldn’t let Oliver Reed get a word in edgewise and he basically told her to shut her mouth but in a British way and she poured whiskey on his head in retaliation. Reed is a pompous ass but he was there to promote his new film. Things took a wrong turn because of Winters!

Shelley Winters is one of my favourite people. I hate how Joan brought up her weight. Shelley played it off wonderfully but Joan was being rude. God I love Shelley though 💙
