If Dallas was smart they wouldn’t want Paige anyways. Shes not even the best player on UConn. She in no way is a 1st pick. She’s 5th at best. But people seem to think being popular on social media is more important than basketball skill…as we have seen with Reese fans.

#'s picks are mostly decided by what the team also primarily needs. I'm betting even Paige would approve if they took other PG's over her. It's not really on her until she actually says something and actually makes a move.

I don't want to hear any more comparisons to CC. Paige is a coward that lacks the fortitude to build anything. She always chooses the easiest path. CC goes to Iowa and builds a national program. CC goes to Indiana which was horrible in the office and coaching. Now the owners are all in with staff and facilities. Paige wants the foundation in place while CC is the foundation.

Just because a team has the first pick doesn't mean they have to pick the #1 prospect. If Dallas knows what kind of system they are trying to affect, they could possibly pick way down the board. I know Dallas went crazy on media about Paige, but if Miles is #1 to #5, I don't think there's a big difference. I wouldn't want a player on my team that didn't want to be there. Of course, I know there are "business" decisions that are interwoven into the whole thing. I ain't saying Paige is overrated, I AM saying that some of these other ladies may just be underrated. Or... you could choose to sit out the WNBA season, play Unrivaled in 2026 and then, after the new collective bargaining agreement is in place, sign with a team for 500k per year for 3 years locking yourself in for 1.5 million or more?
So, is it entitlement wanting to make 1.5 million instead of 240k? Or is it common sense?
And skill wise shes shooting around 56% from the field, with around 4 assists, 4 boards and barely 1 turnover per game in 28/29 minutes. Yep, she sucks.. Lol...
