@troybellair507 By a 1/3 code, I assume you mean motor 1 has a Low Battery code of 3? A fault code of 3 means there is less than 8V DC at the start of a cycle. Can you verify the voltage going to the controller? If that is good, can you verify the voltage going to battery 1? Dan
So I understood your process for going into manual mode. But now I ran out all the way out, then in a few inches and back out and then in all the way. They are still not syncing. Done this process 5 times with no different results. Ideas?
@toomuchpride005 are you holding the switch down until the motors stop all the way? Here is a link to some Lippert videos that explain the same process and how to troubleshoot other issues, hope this helps. support.lci1.com/in-wall-slide-out Good Luck Dan
Thanks for the video - very helpful! We developed a problem by trying to run the slides out with a low battery so the slides don't go out evenly. On the way out, one end seems to stop and I need to hold the button for the other end to go the final couple of inches. I've tried the in/out in/out process a few times but not sure it has corrected it as I think the controller is out of sync with the rotation counts. Couple of questions then if I may: 1/ does putting the controller into manual mode make it forget about the turn counts and so if the slide is completely all the way in we should be ok again if we put it in and out of manual mode? 2/ can you disconnect one of the motors from the controller to run just one of motors to line things up properly? Any help much appreciated!
@paulhampton1362 The manual override just provides 12v directly to the motors, it does not keep the motors in sync. I have never tried to disconnect one motor but I don't see why you couldn't, just be careful not to get the slide too far out of sync. Lippert has some good videos that may help explain things better than I can, check out this website support.lci1.com/in-wall-slide-out and click on the "Videos" menu option. There are a few troubleshooting videos that I think will help you. Please let us know if the videos helped, it might help others also Good Luck Dan
@user-xh9oq1jx6b Thanks Rick! Although she is going through extended treatment (no chemo or radiation Thank God!), Ashley is feeling really good & we are hopeful her scans in October will be the best news. You guys are so thoughtful to ask - thank you so much.🩷🙏✝️
Good Tutorial Dan. What would I do if I have one motor that has gone bad completely. Manual override won't work in that case. Can one side be pushed in while the other side is brought in by the motor?
@robh063 That might be possible if you can keep the slide aligned and the sensors are bypassed. The other way is to disengage both motors and push the slide in. I've never tried it, and honestly hope I never have to, but in a pinch, it will work. Dan
@bornpatriot4657 I found this manual on the Lippert website which has some great information in it. Take a look at page 10, it has some information on your fault code. chrome-extension://efaidnbmnnnibpcajpcglclefindmkaj/lci-support-doc.s3.amazonaws.com/manuals/slideouts/in-wall/ccd-0001602.pdf Sounds like you might have a wiring problem, you could start by disconnecting the wire to motor 1 to see if the fault goes away. Not sure if you have ever heard of www.irv2.com/forums/ but it is a great community of RVers and usually you can get some great help to your questions. Hope this helps Dan
Awesome and to the point
1 have a 1/3 code and I'm dumbfounded

@larrystevens9635 Did you verify that you have power to your controller?

@@RiversToRidgesRV I hope I never have to do that either. There's very little room to get at the motors to disengage them.
@robh063 same for us, very little room to work, so I pray I never have to replace a motor.

Mine is flashing fault 9 on motor 1. Hall power short to ground. Any idea on how to track that issue down?
