Such a great list, keep up the good work. However, let's not forget about the 'Aliens - This Time it's War' board game from Leading Edge Games (1989) that also had an expansion published a year later.
I wouldn't call this the "full" history -- you somehow failed to overlook 1989 when the Aliens board game was released by Leading Edge. If you can ask for 300 to over 400 $ US for a used copy of a game, today (!!!) one can probably call the game good, desirable, or simply a success. Even if it invalidates your incredulous remarks about 40 years of "nothing" happening within the board game sector. Just saying.

Aliens were playable in Horroclix as well, which... might not have been a boardgame.
