Not going to lie, thats kind of baller right there. If I have an issue with the quarterpanels on my GT500, its off to the body shop. Honestly, I like the idea of a C5 Corvette joining my Shelby in the garage more and more.
This video is awesome. It gave me the confidence to do mine. I did it without removing the tire or liner. Got to it all through tail light. Total repair time was 1 hour 15 minutes. Thank you for a great video. The 4 bolts that hold on the bracket and lower part of qtr were 10 mm.
Excellent video. Gentlemen thanks for the truth on this video. 2 Body shops bid removing the fender at 12 hours to remove the driver’s rear quarter. I thought it was B.S.. There reason a lie of coarse after watching you two pros! was the rear bumper had to be removed.
could you tell me if and how i can access the area that takes in air before it passes through the cabin air filter ? my freinds c6 got invaded by mice and the built a nest in that area , he pulled out a lot of the nest through the cabin air filter opening but needs to access that area to fully clean it . the area im speaking of is between the passenger fender and the cabin filter compartment on his 2007 coupe thanks for your help
THE CORVETTE CHANNEL I watch the video thanks for the video, but know I was asking Justin he said he was getting wide fender I was just asking because I’m interested as well. Thanks for the reply you have a new subscriber
@@THECORVETTECHANNEL It is the John Greenwood SS spoiler the NON SS is the one that hangs out behind the car but the SS is the one that does not extend beyond the back of the car
I can see removing a couple of the fender liner bolts but why the complete liner. Didn't appear that affected anything. Great vid tho. Going to do my c5 next week. Yup. Crack.
On a c-4, the rear quarters are one piece (both of them) and they are glued to the vehicle. To remove you must heat enough to release the bond of the glue. This one is a snap compared the the c-4 design..
A bodywork store tried to charge me 1750 dollars to install my Carbon Fiber panels hahahah wtf. Its literally taking a tyre out and unscrewing bolts. What is wrong with california.
A Milwaukee M12 1/4 drive impact screw gun would have made that much faster lol... Removal shouldn't strip anything.. And the lowest setting for reassembly

Most thorough video ever
Thank you and Thanks for watching!!
Nicely done. That should be helpful to many. Lots of guys installing wide body fenders lately.
Thank you !

Very informative video. I have an unrelated question. What brand, model wing is that?
Can you do front bumper and driver fender too.
Very well done, nice to see how easy it is on the C5 - my C6 was a little more involved.
I have a C5, any information is good. Try doing that with any other car. Thanks for the video.

Nice video guys, would like to more about your doors, a video on the doors world be interesting!
Fantastic video! I need to rebuild the mount points on the vertical for the rear guard as they were broken at some point. This is very helpful!
Thanks for the vid. It was very well done. I'm getting wide fenders, and needed this info!
Hi Justin,
Thanks for the comment!! Glad we could help. Have a great day!!
Justin Christiano what fenders are going with ?
@@chisty4ch we replaced that cracked fender with a used stock fender.

@@chisty4ch The way you change the fenders will be the same way so Best of Luck! Thank you for Subscribing!!
looked like the lambo doors where nice and out of the way lol, nice video!
I've got a broken fuel door...it looks like I can swap that out without removing the fender, correct?
Any idea if there is a difference for the convertible?
Thanks for the video, thinking about switching mine to the wide fenders soon
How much different is it to remove a quarter panel on a C5 corvette convertible?
Any advice on the FRC? Seems like it might be a bit different. I'm trying to replace the driver side rear panel.
I'm sorry I haven't done an FRC yet.
Great video, Scott!
I would recommend that you put a shop rag in the open filler neck, saves losing one of those 7mm bolts down it.
You guys rock! Thanks.
Can you please tell me what the rear wing is off of?
I Asked Dan this last weekend. He said it is a Greenwood Wing.

How the heck do you take a Z06 rear fender off?
Love the video thank you for making this
Would a 96 C4 be similar bolt/screw patterns?
Hi Robert I really dont know. I'm sorry

Right on
Cordless drill would work wonders...🤔🧐👍😉
7 mm and 8 mm hex heads. Not 7 and 8 mm screws

That is a left rear quarter panel.

That's a quarter panel buddy. Fenders are in the front
