Kobe was something else. Miss him soo much! There was nobody like him. Truly one of a kind. I cried a lot when he passed. He meant a lot to me. I still think about him everyday.
Great idea by Coach Scott to start a podcast, he definitely has all the connections and insight to make this a great listen every week. You have a new subscriber in me, I love content like this
Kobe was the last of the Mohicans with that play every game like it’s my last, went all out like it’s game 7 every night, the players today don’t know shit about that, not hating but just saying, RIP Kobe
Funny how entertainers think they are more important than they are. My next door neighbor made more of a impact just being a good father and a good husband. Hate sports and tv. I live not thru others. I hike and do marathons and volunteering is my game.
Regardless of where a mentor or role model comes from. They can make an impact, for you it was your neighbor. For me I've been able to take a little bit from a lot of people. I observe and take the good out of everyone I can and apply to my life. Some people it's athletes, other comedians, etc. For me Kobe somehow in my late 30's has made an impact in my life. Without me knowing it and I recognized it earlier today. I'm working out 3 x a day. Doing Cardio, Weight training, HIIT, etc. He used to get in about 4 workouts a day. For most that's crazy and obsessive but for some of us. There is a goal to reach and for me with his mentality, I'm reaching goals I never thought possible.
They had arguments, but Kobe didn't hate him. The only thing you heard in the news was Kobe trash talking Jeremy Lin and other Laker teammates during a practice. Kobe was just being Kobe. He didn't have respect for you if you didn't stand up to him and showed that you belong. As Kobe got to know Jeremy Lin, he gained new respect for him: "You have to be able to assert yourself, especially on a team that I'm playing on -- especially on a team I'm playing on. Because I don't want chumps, I don't want pushovers, and if you're a chump and a pushover, I will run over you. It's important for him (Jeremy Lin) to have that toughness and to say, 'I believe in myself. I can step up, I can make these plays, I can perform.' I think that is very, very important." Kobe said this after Jeremy Lin waived him off in a play and made a 3-point shot in a tight game. This is an interview Matt Barnes had with Jeremy Lin about his relationship with Kobe and Kobe's mindset in the last year of his career: ruclips.net/video/NodZ0hIGzg4/видео.html

They say Jordan Impacted the Game.. the Mamba Mentality Transcended the Game. Thank You Kobe.
"Give me 50 on your last game"
Kobe: "Hold my 60"
I wish Scott would’ve got to coach Kobe before the achilles injury.
On This Interview Byron Scott say “ You know “ a million times. Watch again and thank me laterl😅l😂

The fact that it was Utah..
His Command Of The Moment Was Exceptional, Noteworthy, And Humanity Lost A True Potential Civic Leader
Minus his last season. Scott shot 50% from the floor (career). A lot big shots in big games.
I'll be back...
“What is Kobe Bryant’s legacy to the rest of us?
“A string of well-worn cliches.”
Coach Scott sadly coached Kobe at the end. They should have hired him when Phil left. He needed a coach he can respect. He respected Byron Scott.
yoooooooooooooooooooooooo
