Wonderful pot, and video. Your patience is amazing! Turned out great even with the struggles with the wind wanting to dry it out. Have never thought about crafting outside, looks lovely there!
You must have a lot of control in your hands. I'm betting I'd collapse it when putting it together but one of these days I'll give it the new potter's try. Thanks again. Lovely project.
Thank you, if you make the walls thick like I did it’s quite easy and when the air is trapped inside the two halves it’s really like a solid ball, definitely one to try 😊
I just got into air dry clay and I’m loving your videos! Thank you so much❤ I tried this and I gotta tell you, it’s not perfectly round but I’m so proud of
Well done that’s fab, perfection is not necessary, adding some texture or pattern can help if things are a bit wobbly if you like, wonderful, happy crafting 😊🌸🌼
You are an inspiration … I have made many gift items from your video… you explain each step so nicely that it can be done even by a novice like me… thank you so much
I am in a hot country and it dries up very fast...but hey, I enjoy the process and time has taught me to work on things faster than otherwise I wouldn't. So my mind needs to work much ahead of when I try to make anything. This looks cute. I have made a few pinch coffee (shot) and tea cups. Will send you the pictures over.
This is really wonderful! I've seen your many videos and you have much patience and really well well described!♡. really simple to make, love all of your pieces cause they are always so unique✨✨ unlike other clay crafters. Love the devotion you put in all of your crafts. thanks again love, ♡♡
They so cute. I see the round and think of doing a Christmas look to it. Lol , my brain always thinks in Christmas. I’m trying to train my brain to think about more other ideas. Lol
I have made a pinch bowl and a coaster in blue theme, although is not perfect but I am happy with my first project, thank you so much for sharing all the wonderful tutorial! Too bad I can't show you the pieces!

I'm loving your air dry clay videos and am wondering if the clay can be formed around a slightly inflated balloon which is then popped and removed (through a hole in the top, of course).
as long as it has a top coat, preferably at least 2 coats that's what is important, sometimes i seal first too, sometimes i don't depending on the paint coverage needed etc, find a way you like working i find is always the best way
U spreekt over inch ? 🧡 Slip - yes clay and water mix. I would typically roll the clay between 6 and 8 mm for most projects. I recommend beginners go a bit thicker so it is easier to handle. Best of luck and enjoy. 🧡

regular air dry clay feels a lot more like natural clay for ceramics, then there is lightweight air dry clay that feels a bit more plastic and can be sticky and stretchy and come in lots of colors. But then there is modelling clay that does not dry, I use plasticine, and you can make stop motion characters etc from this and they remain mouldable, hope that helps?
@@starrspoter unless it says air dry modelling clay, but plasticine is used for making characters etc that you can manipulate and animate, like Wallace and Grommit!
@@starrspoter just realised that my local store calls DAS modelling clay so I can see how this can get confusing, I stick to the brands I know for each type then you know what you are buying next time

Hi! I love the simplicity of your pinch pot technique, however it's not for me. Rediscovered the balloon technique, where one inflates a small(ish) balloon to the desired format and then coil a very, very, very long sausage of adc around it to the desired hight. Deflate the balloon after about 8 to 12 hours, depending on temperature, humidity etc. You may want to use a simple release agent like baby powder or petroleum jelly.

I'm loving your air dry clay videos and am wondering if the clay can be formed around a slightly inflated balloon which is then popped and removed (through a hole in the top, of course).
Thanks Dawn, I’ve had people ask this a lot, yet I’ve never tried, I will though, it might be better around something firmer that can then deflate
Can water be put in these beautiful pinch pot vases? Will the water hold?
I’ve done a few videos on waterproofing air dry clay
For the first vase, have you ever shaped it around a small bowl?
You sure could, I've just done this, this pinch pot way 😊
Love them. ❤ I didn't know u seal air dry clay. What kind of seal is use?
Thank you. I like to use a spray varnish/lacquer
Hi, could you explain the pros/cons/differences of sealing before painting? Thanks
as long as it has a top coat, preferably at least 2 coats that's what is important, sometimes i seal first too, sometimes i don't depending on the paint coverage needed etc, find a way you like working i find is always the best way
Can I use acrylic paint on this clay once dry?
You most definitely can, then seal with a varnish or resin, plenty of videos on my channel where I show this too, thank you 😊 happy crafting
Since the clay is dark, does it tell you somewhere on the package that it is stone coloured?
It sure does, and this one has a picture of a lion on the front too in the stone colour ❤️✨
What did you seal
Them with?
Any of these:
VARNISH AIR DRY CLAY -

How would you seal the inside for water?
I did an experiment in this video: m.ruclips.net/video/Q9rCGffLej4/видео.html and like polyurethane best 😊
How long does it take to make this pot let me know please
We are all different but I’d allow myself 30 mins to an hour, you might take more or less
Hi from Indonesia... can we wash air dry clay earrings with soap?
Hi Indonesia from England ❤️✨ When clay is bare no, but if you varnish/lacquer well, you could wipe them clean with water and soap on a cloth
Hi I’m looking for your video on making your own air dry clay... would you mind sharing the link? I believe you mentioned it in another video.
This is my homemade clay: ruclips.net/video/ncn9bvdCN2Y/видео.html
The vase is DAS
Thanks
You can use baloon for this sphere shape
that's great if it works for you ❤️ thanks

I too have been experimenting using a balloon etc 📽 Thank you for adding this
May I put water in it 💦
No, cant put water in
As Lisa said, no you can't as it would go all soft. For decorative purposes, so put dried flowers etc in to look pretty ❤️
I'm in a hot country, clay starts drying as I'm using it so, I can't procrastinate lol
yes can imagine how you have to keep going, no time to pause lol
True..cnt even work slowly with resin or acrylic
