Which one will you make first? ❤😊❤
Really love the planter!
Your tree gives me hope, inspiration and potential technique to attempt a swan tissue cover at some point. Not sure I should attempt something so large from the getgo.
Hi amazing gift ideas ty
What’s the uv resin you use please
Is it hard to work with ?
I’m looking for a super glossy finish x
@@sq5 one of my faves too, thank you
@@amandamoses9179 hi, thank you, I used this: amzn.to/3SRHLeM I'm going to do a video on how I resined the coasters and it sure does give a super glossy finish, not too hard to work with 😊
Your voice is so soothing, I love watching your videos for inspiration! Thank you so much 🥰
You are very welcome, thank you for watching ❤️
I’m so happy to have run across your channel tonight. Those are really sweet ideas, and I’m tallying up in my head who will be getting what this year. Your voice is very soothing and friendly. Thanks for sharing, I’m subscribing!
Hi and welcome Tassie, excellent, that’s lovely to hear thank you ❤️
I love your videos soooo much! Also, I don't know if anyone else has mentioned this before but your voice is incredibly soothing... you should consider reading for audiobooks!
Thank you, so kind, many people do say this on here, something I’d never realised before making videos. I’d love to do some audio books, thanks ❤️
@@RedRockingBird I was thinking the same thing! I had slow jazz playing while watching your video and your voice went so well with the calming atmosphere. I learned so much from you, as well. Thank you!!
Sei molto brava. Complimenti.
This was really inspiring! I've played around with air dry clay and made some trinket dishes and small ornaments and gift tags, but never thought about some of these other things. I am excited to try making them myself! Your air dry clay planter gave me an idea to try to make an air dry clay bell - like those ceramic ornamental bells. Thanks for the ideas!
Fantastic, I love to hear this has inspired you to do your own versions of things, that’s what it’s all about, thank you, enjoy 😊
Great
Loved loved loved this tutorial! Thank you for sharing
You are so welcome, glad you enjoyed, thank you
Thank you so much Sarah, I really really enjoyed watching you create all these amazing and beautiful things. I really really love ❤️ them all. I really really love ❤️ the pin badge’s too. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
Thank you Mags, so happy you enjoy my projects, stay safe too, thanks, Sarah ❤
Loved all of the diys. Thank you for sharing ❤
You are so welcome, thank you ❤
Fantastic video. Thankyou so much.
You’re welcome, thank you
Looking forward to your video about resin! 😍
❤️ me too lol, thank you ❤️
Definitely spray paint is far better than the glossy painting and the color befor and the extra drying time ..
Yes to the extra drying time…always, thanks
Beautiful projects!!! I love the hanging pot 😮🎉
Thank you, that has to be my favourite too, enjoy your projects 😊
Thank you. You inspired and motivated me to continue my pottery journey. Thank you
Amazing, I love this thank you, have fun and best of luck 😊
Your tutorials are so inspiring 🫶🏻 I would love to try making some of the cute clay pins…adorable! Thank you for sharing 😊
Super, enjoy making the pins 🐻😊 thank you
Very nice!
Thank you 😊
Hello, I love your videos and I had to write to you and say a big thank you for all that you have taught me about using air dry clay. I'm currently upcycling two old wooden frames I got for $2.00 from a local thrift shop. I cleaned them and sanded them back to take off the old varnish. Now I'm making clay mouldings with a couple of moulds I got from IOD and Redesign With Prima, and then gluing them with wood glue to the sides of the frames. I made some 'slip' just like you taught us to do and it works perfectly for filling in the inevitable cracks that appear in the clay when it dries, although I don't fill in all the cracks because I want the frames to look vintage, not perfect. After I've finished putting the mouldings on, I'll paint the frames with chalk paint, the first layer of paint will be a darker colour, maybe brown or charcoal grey and the top coats will be white, and then I'll distress the paint a little with sandpaper and seal them. So thanks again. Merry Christmas, love from Amanda Jones in Australia ❤
Hi Amanda, thank you for your really kind comment, your project sounds wonderful and I’m happy to hear it’s all worked out for you, happy crafting and keep watching 🇦🇺 🇬🇧
How about the little creatures you made into pins? Thank you!
Yes definitely 😊
Thank you so much! I learn something or get a new idea with every video! Keep it up!! ❤
Thank you Sherry, wonderful and yes I certainly will keep going ❤️😊
I have some scavenged coins from different countries. It would be fun to embed some into the bottom of a coins dish. Coin charms could also be used. Your trees are lovely! TFS!💐
Yes definitely. Thanks for watching 😊
Most definitely. Thank you for watching, keep creating 😊
I laughed when you stuck on googly eyes on the front of the snail pincushion. Aren’t the pins on the head actually the eyes? I would put a black dot and white highlight on the pin heads for the eyes. 🥰
lol I think I've done snail illustrations in the past as both options lol
I
Good point, I had to google it:
antennae-the long projections from a snail's head, for detecting scents and orientation, and sometimes having eyespots. Also known as tentacles.
Glad it amused you, good suggestion.
I love them all but I really love the planter. I have a question for ya, I love air dry clay and I was hoping to try and make my own handles for my resin trays. Do you know if air dry clay will work together with silicone for mold making? Thank you
I have made silicone molds with air dry clay before. It works pretty well, however you have to make sure your piece is varnished really well so it's waterproof as air-dry clay gets soft again if it comes in contact with water. Probably best to test your varnish with a small piece first, but it definitely can work
@@wiebki OK, great thank you.
yes it does work to make molds, but as wiebki said they have to be fully sealed otherwise the silicone remains sticky, I made a video: ruclips.net/video/Br4RvHWbQFk/видео.html thanks
Love your clay tutorials, Sarah. They are so informative and you give so many useful tips. Thanks so much. 😁
Thank you Diana, happy to hear you find them useful. I enjoy making the videos, have a great day
Gostei muito do vídeo, espetacular.👏👏😍

Thanks so much, Sarah. Definitely inspired now. Keep up the good work!
Wonderful, thank you so much, happy to hear this ❤️
All your ideas are amazing and truly inspiring 👌⚡Thank you very much indeed for sharing your creativity and expertise 🙏You Simply Rock🔥Lots of ❤God bless😇
Thank you Carol, you’re the best, have a great day ❤️
For the planter, what do you use to seal the inside? When you water the plant, does any of the seal coating come off from the water under the plant?
The plant is left in the plastic plant pot, I tend to take this out, water it, let it drain and then put it back in, only becasue I forget to water it often enough. I put a bit of plastic sheet in there as I showed I would in the video, alternatively plenty of coats of polyurethane varnish like in the waterproofing videos: ruclips.net/video/z0dtdQFQ-wM/видео.html and ruclips.net/video/Q9rCGffLej4/видео.html but I dodn't let them sit with water. Or resin: ruclips.net/video/bW6tF5gczUU/видео.html
Thanks
I am so excited for this video! I really want to make that little planter. Supper cute! Thank you so much for the video!
You’re welcome, thank you, enjoy 😊

Thank you Sherie, always a pleasure to hear from you, have a great rest of week ❤️
Such a lovely video with some great gift ideas. I think I'm gonna give the pot and trinket dish a go. Thanks so much for sharing x
Wonderful, enjoy your projects, thank you 😊
9:49 Cute!
Thanks 😊
So many clever ideas! I'm definitely going to give a couple of these ideas a go for my friend. I think I'm becoming addicted to air dry clay...thanks😋😊🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁
Fantastic, there are far worse things to be addicted so go for it and enjoy, thank you 😊
These ideas are absolutely lovely! But I'm struggling to find any video tutorials on how to resin coat them. Is there a link somewhere that I may have missed?
Video coming out tomorrow @redrockingbird thank you
absolutely brilliant thank you so much i will most likely make all of these 👌👌
Oh super, enjoy your projects, thank you 😊❤️
❤❤❤
Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed 😊❤️
I love them all but my favorite is the snail pin cushion! 🐌 so clever & unique!!
Thank you, it’s fun isn’t it, I hope you have a go ❤️
Thank you very much for all this new ideas 🤩😘
I love the UV resin effect!
More on the uv resin soon, it works really well, thank you 😊
My supermarket had air dry clay kits for sale yesterday. After already watching lots of your videos, now I’m ready to play! Thank you for your well edited and clear instructions.
Good to hear you are all set and ready to go, thank you and enjoy 😊
@@RedRockingBird I’ve had my first attempt and I wasn’t too pleased with the results, sadly. I didn’t have DAS clay though. Maybe that would make a difference.
So excited to try the hanging planter!! Would white glue or mod podge work as sealant for the inside for waterproofing? 🤔😊👍
Super, thanks, you’d need some thing more waterproof, use some element of reused plastic inside and I kept the plant in the original plant 🪴
I’m going to be making mini coffee ornaments using ling snakes of air dry clay for the “foam top”! Hope it works! Thanks for the great video! ❤❤😊
Sounds great Wendy, hope it works too, enjoy and thanks 😊
I love all the different ideas and your snail face so adorable ! My favourite was the beautiful initial R was so elegant for a key fob !
Thank you, happy crafting 🤍😊
I love them all - but oh my goodness, the planter!! 😍
I love it too, thank you 😊 🪴
Wonderful! You are such an inspiration Sarah! x
Thank you Jane, very kind of you ❤️
I will try almost all and tag you. These are all so pretty.
Please do, yours will be stunning. Where would you put the eyes on the snail??? lol On the head or the antennae??? lol
Thank you ❤
apparently uv resin is food safe so i guess in theory u can make it food safe?
you'd kind of hope so wouldn't you
I have just come across your videos today. I am so glad I have found you, your way of explaining how to make all the different projects are clear, precise and at a speed that can be easily followed by a complete beginner like me. Thank you 👍
How very lovely, thank you 🥰 and WELCOME aboard 😊
Just wonderful! Thanks for so many beautiful ideas!
Glad you like them, you are welcome, thank you
Absolutely beautiful. I love the snail so much, he’s adorable ❤
🐌 thank you 🤍
Great project ideas - they all look amazing!
Glad you like them! Thank you
Ok - I just made some air dry clay objects and I was able to dry brush gold on them and make the clay look like bronze. Its amazing what else you can do with this material
Fab, I love to make them gold too. Sounds like you enjoyed your project.
Awesome!! Will look for your transfer method!!👏👏👏
Thank you Linda, glad you enjoyed, this is the wet on wet transfer: ruclips.net/video/nJ4VWhGoB-0/видео.html
These are such lovely items. I am looking forward to the video about using Resin. I have people use it for larger art projects, or just small coating for eyes. But not for use with projects I would normally be likely to do. I know me and my learning style. Watching a video is perfect for me.
Definitely a learner. That is why I appreciate your videos.

The planter pot is sooo cute. Definitely going to make one.
You should, thanks, currently making some larger planters….video coming soon 😊 🌺
Beautiful work! Your voice is so soothing.
Glad you think so, thank you
I really really enjoy watching your projects thank you and keep them coming ❤
So good to hear thank you Angela 😊❤️
Thanks so much for the great ideas! You are so talented and love how you explain. 😊
Thank you Donna, much appreciated ❤️
One fun thing about air dry clay is that, for those who love to bake, it's like working with pastry! 🥐😄🫓
Definitely, I think that’s why I love it so much, that’s what came first for me, the love of baking… rolling shaping icing covering etc 😊❤️
But it tastes like c**p 😅
Bake ??? It's air dry not fimo
I’m new to this and can’t wait to try. Do you wait for the clay to dry before moving it off the tile? For the little animal designs. Scraping it up can kind of change the shape… what do you advise please?
Hi, on my tiles the dry clay pops right off so I tend to leave them, but some people find they get stuck, in this case roll and cut on a piece of cloth or parchment and then leave them to dry, this would then peel off. Especially to avoid distortion while lifting. Thanks. Happy crafting ❤️
I see you answered that question towards the end of this! Thank you 😅
@@bumpyb82 happy crafting
Sarah: Did you say your templates are availableto us for download? I am not finding them. Thank you, I love your videos. Your projects are doable and your voice is soothing and encouraging.
Hi Joyce, there are a couple of templates for other videos and they’re below the relevant video, but this one I didn’t do any templates sorry, all done by eye sorry ❤️🎄
Tk u soooooo much for sharing your ideas with clear explanations .. good job👍 👍 👍
Thank you, you are very welcome, keep watching ❤
Awesome!! Love it thank you for sharing.❤❤❤❤❤

Love these ideas! Can you make a necklace using this? I’d like to make little characters w a metal loop ring. Wondering if it will slip out if the clay?
You can I made a necklace in this video: ruclips.net/video/tss4teWIyxQ/видео.html
And the cat key chain in this video has a little trick to keep the loop in: ruclips.net/video/ggY3hjParTQ/видео.html

@@RedRockingBird thank you so much!! ❤️
i love your gnomes and the fairisle hat Im about to order some air dried clay now!! Thank you...........all ive made so far is coasters but Im going to have a go........PS what paint do you use to colour them, I missed it if you said it sorry.........
Enjoy your air dry clay projects Christine, the thicker paint in this video is acrylic paint and the thinner is watercolour. Thank you, Sarah
Very nice video! Do you put the dirt and the plant directly into the vase? I know you said you would a bit of plastic in there to prevent water.
But how does the excess of water from the the plant run from the vase?
You can most certainly add holes in the base, I just wouldn’t want the water to pour out onto the floor in my home as these are for indoors! I don’t plant the plant directly in, I put them in small pots, like I do for all my indoor plants, then excess water can be poured out, I also often seal the insides with resin
You gave me some lovely ideas for handmade Christmas presents! Thank you!
Good to hear, have fun with your projects, here is another air dry clay gifts video: ruclips.net/video/ggY3hjParTQ/видео.html
I love trinket dishes ❤ ive made a few out of my crochet yarns in the past Im really hooked on thrm havent lost an ounce of jewelry since i started using them 😊 maybe ill go with tribal designs as all my favorite art i made seems to wnd up being just that Wonderful video Cute dishes
Your projects sound wonderful Mary, thank you, happy crafting ❤️
Wonderful work! Thank you for the inspiration 😘
Thank you much appreciated ❤
I have a lot of shreded paper with which I’m going to make some clay. I’m going to see what I can make as Christmas gifts.
Sounds great and very creative, enjoy, thanks for watching 😊
Love these ideas. I’m new to clay and just want to know What paper and ink do you use to transfer names onto the dry clay? Xx
Thank you: ruclips.net/video/nJ4VWhGoB-0/видео.html
Could you modge podge and then use for a kitchen scrubber dish?!?
I don’t find mod podge to be completely water tight. I’d go with polyurethane varnish or resin and use it at home for myself for sure. I’d like to make some soap dishes soon, thanks 😊
Oh my trypophobia..
😬
Lovely ideas to try for Xmas
Glad you think so, I hope you give them a go, thank you 😊
Do you use laser printer for the transfers or would an inkjet do? I love your tutorials and the way you teach is great for me thank you 🧙♀

Thank you for posting these beautiful gift ideas. Have the best day!!
Thank you, you're welcome, happy crafting ❤️
I love looking at working with clay in many forms. I try not to use aerosol sprays due to chemicals emitted in the air. ❤
I love all things crafty and creative too, but yes should be more mindful towards the environment, I’ve always been a reduce, reuse, recycler but we could all always do more ❤️
Since I don't have such a steady hand while writing with a pencil - is it also possible to use acrylic pens? Because I really love this pieces with little messages and names on it.
You most definitely can use acrylic paint pens yes, thank you 😊
Love these gift ideas. The tree trinket gift idea is my favorite.
Thank you Margaret , I hope you make some 🌲😊
Love everything u made ❤
Good to hear, thank you 😊
Loved it thanks for sharing dear 💕💕
Thank you and thanks for watching 😊
Good ideas well demonstrated - just what we need! Thanks.
Fantastic, thank you Sue 😊
So inspiring! I've never thought I could make a planter this way. I usually cover with clay pots, or glue various clay ornaments. I think I'll try it! Thank you 💖
I wouldn't suggest it... it's not waterproof so it will start to "melt" and eventually break. Plus there are no drainage holes so your plant will drown. A fake plant will work but not a real one.
Super, thank you Ismimi, the plant is left in the plastic plant pot and can be placed inside the clay so can be removed from time to time along with any excess water. As shown in the video I lined the pot or you could waterproof like in my waterproofing videos. My clay is not being left damp and the plant is doing just great. 🪴
I need to make the oil diffusers for my wardrobe and cupboards
Super, enjoy your projects, these are something I had not tried before but seen others do, hope it works ok 😊

HI PLEASE CAN YOU/SOMEONE CONFIRM if the printing or wirdds if with inkjet printer i dont seem to be getting it to transfer am i not wetting it enough or waiting long enough
many thanks
Hi, some inkjet printer inks don’t seem to work like this, mine does and this was just a happy accident, what I suggest is ask a friend with a different inkjet to print you a test piece of anything at all and see if that works 💛
hi update on my problem printing text i had to quickly come up with an alternative 😅 so i used a metal stencil and acrylic inks to put lovely little roses on instead. im trying to make pin badges have got the backs which glue do you use to secure them please. thank you for all your great videos ❤
@@trisht5064 sounds lovely, for pins my current method is in this video:
ruclips.net/video/Y120OMwVlgg/видео.html with resin

Thanks
Love these videos I just wish the sprays weren't used as they are so bad for the environment :(

Love your video. I’ve just started working with air dry clay and wondered how do you keep the ball so smooth while you’re rolling it out?
Thank you, I find if I smooth the clay into a ball with my fingers, making sure the surface is clean of cracks, then start to roll without too much pressure, rolling and turning, gradually rolling thinner, I show this more in some of my current videos, best of luck
