- Hey guys! Here is my easy, cheap DIY home decor using air dry clay! I LOVE how simple, easy, and cost-effective these projects are. They all would make great gifts and even though they are handmade, I feel like the still look very high end! I will link everything I used below. Thanks for watching :)

Crafty tip: when you want to paint all your beads, put them on wooden skewers and poke the tips of the skewers into the inside of a shoebox (so it looks like a foosball table LOL).and then you can spray the beads inside the box while you rotate them with the skewers that are sticking out of the box! The beads never touch the bottom of the box!
PRO TIP!! This definitely makes life easier!!
What a FANTASTIC tip. Thank you for sharing!!!
Great tip Karen👏🏻🇬🇧
Thanks for sharing
You can also stick skewers into floral foam .. its a great way. For spray painting furniture handles as well 😊
I think your version of the beads with the tassel added is better than the Pottery barn version.Great job!
Awe! Thank you so much! Glad you liked it. Thanks so much for watching and the sweet comment :)
@@jennapierce Also, Welcome to NC! It is awesome here xo
Love the beads!
I agree 👍🏻
Nice work ,but I want to know, why do you make beads and keep as a decoration peace, because in India we use beads to make necklaces, earings and sometimes in designing ladies suits
The beads look great, I am inspired to try. I unfortunately had to listen with no sound. The word "like" used a million times in a sentence, sets off my OCD. lol. (strange but true) Reminds me of Moon Zappa.
I love love these ideas. I will be trying a couple out. Thank you for sharing. Please keep posting diy
Oh I need a truckload of clay now!!! ❤️❤️❤️
HAHA Right?! It's seriously so fun to work with and I STILL have that huge block sitting in the closet. It lasts forever!
New subscriber! Loved the stone "beads" 😍👌
How did you know I needed this! Now I can make the beads as large as I want 🤗 thank you! I’m definitely going to do a couple variations!
Love the clay bead look... your sponge paint techniques are on point... soft dabbing is crucial and the layering of paint! Love it and thank you... Keep it going!!
Hi Jenna, a couple of clay tips, take 8 or so toothpicks together, wrap a piece of tape nice and tight around it. Use ur toothpick “tool” to poke or jab the seams together or anywhere you want to join a seam. Smooth the toothpick marks with water after. Also, instead of triple thick spray on the napkin rings, give modge podge hard as nails a try. It makes a beautiful “ceramic finish” that is more moisture proof then the spray. I love all your Crafts! The beads are FANTASTIC!!
Tina Merrill OHH!!! I will definitely have to try the Modge Podge Sharp as Nails! Thanks so much for the tips! 🥰👍🏻
You did a great job! I'm in the process. That sponge (from my art store) added black, brown, gold and antique white. Dried, and now to string together tomorrow and Will add tassels. Boda boom bada bing! 😉😘
Greetings from the UK! This is the best DIY I have ever watched! Thank you for sharing.
Sarah Pugh Awe you are so sweet to say that! Thank you for watching! So glad you enjoyed ❤️😊
Greetings from the Netherlands! Loved the beads, on my way to Amazon right now 😍👌🏼
Elisabeth Lo Esc Awe hey Elisabeth! 💕 Thats awesome! Hope you have fun creating 🤗
Walmart has the sea sponges. I got a little bag for under 5 bucks. I've used them a good bit. Definitely the best sponge for faux stone looks.
I wish you would say what youre making before the reveal so we know what we're watching. Each project I'm like "what are you making"
For the tray, you could have used cracked pepper and that might have giving you a didn’t look too. All projects are beautiful 😻
The rope beads are genius 👍🏼
WOW! Love these beads and tassels! I have large glass beads that I will make with twine and tassels. Thank you for the video. 💃🏼🙌🏻
This was great! You gave me some ideas to start now for Christmas gifts. Thanks so much for sharing ❣️

Thanks so much Brenda! 😊 So glad you like the videos!
I really like how natural that garland looks. It's like if you made it from actual stone
Omg. As soon as you said that about holding your breath, I realized I was holding mine watching the spray paint! New subscriber here! Great video!
I will be making the “stone” beads. I like the tassels too!
I agree. Love the beads!!!!

Awe thank so much! 😊
Wow. Your clay jokes got a thumbs up from me as my husband and I love puns and we laughed out loud
Thanks for being goofy and real
New subscription 😘
TIP - if you prefer your “beads” more uniform in shape and size, a rice ball shaker works perfectly and you can buy them in various sizes too ☺️
Can you do more imitation ceramic pieces, like japanese teacups and saucers looking stuff with just airdry clay and the krylon glaze? Would love to see it!
Loved everything. Beads are so cool! First time seeing your video. In the words of the terminator...I’ll be back!

This is awesome. Enjoyed watching
Thank you so much!
Love that I came across your channel. Never even knew about air dry clay? Going to give it a go. I was wondering if you have had any issues with storing all that clay you haven’t used yet? Does it get hard over time and get wasted? Thanks.
We can tell you’re looking at the viewfinder. You’re so beautiful look at the camera. if feels like you’re not talking to us you’re talking to yourself
They make rolling pins with adjustable width bands to make evenly sized dough or clay! I’m excited to try these ideas! I love home decor and crafting! 💕🦋🥰
Oh you give me some great ideas I love working with clay.
Please do more pottery barn dupes love those, got myself some air dry clay , definitely trying some of these, thank you
Everything looks good, the beads look so so good! Love it 😍
Love the clay beads!
Thank you Tasia! :)
Here’s a tip for anyone who buys air dry clay. Make sure it’s a tried and true quality clay, (not the ones on Amazon). Most inferior clay will crack. I’ve bought several from Amazon and other places and they are not the quality that DAS clay is. Das is easy to work with, rarely cracks, and can be shaped easily. The others are hell to deal with, crack in most cases, and will make your masterpiece a mess.
I have been all work and no clay lately... I have everything pulled out, but always have something I have to go do, or I am working, or playing mom. Which it totally fine. But I do need to do better about dedicating time to clay time... Thanks for that!!!
"All work, no clay"😅😅😅
My fav is the napkin holder. Wonder why you didn't paint the inside?
So pretty
Okay, so earlier today I tried to blow the moss off a girls video. She was doing something with moss, and I tried to blow her moss off of her foam board. So, no, I didn’t hold my breath when you were spray painting, but I did that, so... New sub. I had to subscribe...due to your cheesy humor.
Wow, those beads are so much better, than the salt clay. Your beads are much prettier. I have some clay, I will be making some.
Can you show us more projects with the Air Dry Clay? Since I am going to purchase a box of the clay.
Really liked the beads.I plan on getting some clay to make some. Thanks for sharing!
That’s so pretty, I love it’s. Thank you for sharing this video 💖💖💖
Hi Jenna, beautiful tutorial💕
Can I ask how big each bead for the knotted rope is.
Just started working with air dry loved these easy beginner diys .Video was very enjoyable to watch.

Hahah thank you so much! :)

I love the Pottery barn dupe on the beads. They look great. Maybe trying that one.
So....cute!!!
Thanks for sharing!!!
😊😀😁🥰👍
Did you have any breakages?
I only see those type of comments about this clay brand
So does this clay have a ceramic texture ? Or is it like polymer clay. I like the ceramic look and feel but I don't know and really want to do that.
Love your creations and I too love air dry clay .
💖🤩💖🤩💖🤩 kisses from Brazil
We used to tear pieces out of regular sponges, to give them different textures, and such.
This was the first video I saw... Now I'm subscribed and binge watching all the others! I moved to a new house 5 months ago, so I really related
Awe that's awesome! So glad you are liking the videos. Thanks for the kind feedback! Comments like this make my day! Congrats on your home! :)

I said both 😜... Wanted to say all but mostly loved the rings and beads.
To add texture to your beads. Tip, add baking soda to your paint!!!

Did you use green jute? That’s what is linked.
Hi, Jenna! How have the beads held up since you made them? Any issues with cracking too much from drying out? Thanks! They’re amazing work! Itching to try it out.
I will say I have dropped them several times and they are SOLID. No issues for me at all! I hope you have fun DIYing
Love them all! I've never worked with air dry clay! Now I'm inspired to try, love your sense of humor too!😁
Create Hi C HAHA I’m glad someone appreciates it 😂 Thanks so much! 🥰💕

The Waverly chalk paint in Mineral really is the end all be all paint!! I have had the same bottle forever! I really have used it for so many projects. It pairs perfectly with the Elephant color. Anytime I want a ceramic, pottery, or concrete look I grab for my Waverly paint! New here and I'm staying! Probably going to binge watch a few of your vids. 🤦♀️😂🤣
I really like the way your b beads turned. 🤗
I just found your channel. I have Das air dry clay...I went straight home and made those large beads...gonna do it! I'm going to drape them over some old books painted jet black. Stunning!!
Love these! Thank you for sharing
Can you please put de sprays you used in the descriptionbox? The one you used to finish the tray and the one you used on the clay beads. Thank you
Elisabeth Lo Esc yes it is linked in the description as “acrylic sealer”
Do you think these napkins rings will be dishwasher safe using the same materials you used?
No! I would not risk putting them in the dishwasher.
