I work at Small Engine Warehouse. I'm also a Kohler fan. Glad to see one of our engines being put in a cool old machine!

Kohler has been making quality engines for decades. The K series (301) in my IH Cub Cadet is 53 yrs old and starts right up every time 😊

Usually there is a gain control inside cordless microphones that you can adjust to reduce an overdrive distortion problem in case you didn't know.

Unfortunately that mic set up did not. But since then, I've purchased a much better mic that i've since started using. Videos from here on out will have MUCH better audio quality!

In general, I don’t like kids, but that little munchkin is way cute! As long as he doesn’t yell every time he asks a question, I’d actually enjoy hearing and seeing your interaction with him in the workshop. As the years go by, including creators kids in the videos becomes part of the history of the channel and I suspect increases engagement as well. Plus it’s great to see folks actually parent their offspring and share their workshop environment. That’s how they learn and how to improve your connection with them in a meaningful way. ❤️

Audio is light years better, Levi! Good going! I watch many other small engine channels and by far the single most common criticism I have is poor audio quality. For that reason I would really appreciate a detailed video of the exact equipment you’re using so I can refer others.
Short of that, would you please respond here with a list and links! Thanks!
Also, FWIW, I personally appreciate as much explanation as possible about whatever you are doing. In this video you explained a lot of which I unaware, and you did it in such a way that it was all easily understood. This is the way how to videos should be done! 🔧👍

You were the person I was hoping would approve! Also, here's the link to mic I purchased( amzn.to/3AZjkJf ). They seem to work ok but a more expensive set will be bought in the near future.

Glad to help. Thx for the link. What’s wrong with this unit that you feel the need to upgrade already?

Great video! I love the old tractors. I have an old Gilson 18HP Briggs & Stratton 693cc with hydrostatic drive, with a drive shaft. It still runs great, but adapting a new motor to it, probably would be a little more difficult, I probably would have to rebuild the 18hp Briggs. Maybe someone might have a video "just in case" I ever had to change the engine, on how to adapt one of the new motors to a drive shaft type tractor.

Hey. Kind of a random question. Can you check what the carb specs are in that 11hp Briggs that you pulled out? Thanks from advance.
