- Lets bring this wheelhorse 520H back to life! Pulled it straight from the tree row and gave it some attention.

NICE!!!! You can never have too many Wheel horses around the house!! FACTS!!
Kool Kohler. I like the Magnum personally
I like the boxer twins. I have a 20 horse Onan horizontal that I want to use on a log splitter project. We shall see.
Nice save right there! That motor was done for, and you brought it back from the dead! From being locked up, to the carburetor being completely corroded inside and out, to the fuel pump, I mean, great job! That’s a sweet tractor too. I really do like the wheel horse. My son has and I think we need more of those in our lives as well!
You can never have too many ! Thanks for the kind words fellers!
The last time I saw a mechanical fuel pump was on an Atomic Four engine in a 1970’s cruising sailboat. This was at least 15 years ago. A lot of owners were putting blockoff plates on the hole and mounting electric pumps.
Just a recollection.
I blocked mine off, took crank case pressure, and mounted a pulse pump. Worked like a champ
I have a 416h it's about 27 yrs old and still gets the job done
They’re very good tractors. I bought my first one a couple years ago and I’ve had an addiction ever since!
Great job as always!
Thank you !
PB blaster is better for lube in cylinders, i use it to help free up semi stuck Farmalls. from what I'm told PB blaster is more of a lubricant then wd40. wd40 i read leans more towards a light duty solvent. not dumping on you wd40 guys , but since i switched to PB blaster things been a lot easier to break free with nuts and stock cylinders. if the cylinder is really stuck yes use trans fluid and acetone and PB blaster mix. then again i use straight up Evaporust filling each cylinder up and sit a day or two... and bam free as a bird . always change oil after using other than oil in cylinders as it contaminates your oil when finally working past the rings. I restore old Farmall tractors, farm implements, industrial machines, and yes lawn tractors too.
Thanks for the Information! I’ll pick up a can of pb blaster next time I’m at the store!
@@LaidOffGarage i stopped using wd40 years ago, and stopped snapping bolts too. it frees up even old rusted 80 year old farm implements that been sitting in the fence row. i still got my last can a wd40 still sitting on the shelf with dust on it. lolol
Good job! Seems a shame to pull parts from that one. My 2 cents. 😉🔧👍
It’s always tough to part one out! I will say that it was still a running working tractor and was sold to another collector. Thanks for watching Rein!
i think i like the kohler better than the onan. saw you using the steering wheel spinner.
I could understand why! And I think that suicide knob is the best part of the tractor lol!
Great video 📹!!!! What part of Indiana do you live in? I'm from Cincinnati
About an hour from Indianapolis. Thanks for watching !
That looks like a nice tractor, is that Kohler an OHV? I didn't know Kohler made an opposing 2 cylinder. I have a Kohler V twin on my Murray 40 inch cut. Does a very good job.
Judging by the looks of the cylinder I don’t believe so
