This is one of the few channels that I click 'like ' before I even start the video, because I know the content will deliver, and I've never been disappointed! And this video is no exception, absolutely brilliant Liam, it's a joy and a pleasure watching you do something you obviously love, nice one mate!
Absolutely tremendous video, best camping on RUclips, your passion for being out and about in all weather is brilliant, look forward to these every Monday 👍
Testing yourself is all well and good until you fail the test and that can be fatal . Not just for you but the mountain rescue people as well . So like Liam says . Make sure you have all the right gear and double check everything you will need . And make sure you check the weather for all the time you are out .
Great video, love your content. Love the little bits of practical advice you give. Me watching you camp while you watch Paul while he watches you camp was a bit of a mind bend 😂. Keep up the great videos, love the channel!
I think the real danger here was risking a tube loop (very dangerous), this occurs when 2 youtubers are watching the others channel and you also meet at the same time on a camp. Sounds unlikely but how willing are you to risk this version of our multiverse.
These videos are both enjoyable and saddening at the same time. A mate and me used to do things just like this in the mid 90's. The more extreme weather, the better. We would often just bivi it. Now, im utterly busted in the body, so can no longer= thus the sad part. Keep these up though, they will one day be great memories.
The human body is amazing, all it takes is a few months to transform it for the better. What is required is a little tweak in your eating habits and introducing a few fitness routines. Discipline is key however. All the best.
Super video yet again. 👍🏼 I spent last Wednesday night solo in the Mournes with gusts forecast at 55mph. I almost got blown over on the summits but got a little more shelter in a valley where I spent a fabulous night listening to the tent getting battered by the wind and rain. As you said it makes you feel alive.
Nice one as always mate, some great advice and tips👍, I especially liked your positivity.... Challenging and fun👌 now there's a great attitude 💪 take care Liam and God bless you mate 🙏🙏😊
Try adding some creamed soup, vegetables, meat and soy sauce to ramens also dried french onions thats quite a meal by itself I also like mixing both cocoa & coffee together Hash is good for camping! I really like it. With a salami log sliced up and some eggs and maybe other makes a good breakfast
Brilliant video. Loved this 1. Its definitely wise getting all the right gear. The vegan kebab meat looks lush.. where can i get some? Never had kebab meat so i would like to try it...
Should have pitched the tent in that full wind at the end; THAT’S what a Hilleberg is for! I’ve always wanted to set up a double polled hilleberg up on mount Washington here in NH, see what they can really take…
Tell me you've got spare boxers to cover yourself for that food Liam?! 💩🤣 Great watch as always and a good route that aswell. Belting horseshoe when it's not hitting blizzard conditions ❄️😊 Stay safe and well mate, Adge and B
Great video, you're a mad man fella. You, Paul Messner & Andrew Park are really getting me psyched to get fit & gather the gear together to get back out into the hills next summer. I used to do stuff like this when I was younger but got out of the habit, then I had a stroke.
Loved that video Liam 👍🏻 I don't drive and Heron pike is my go to for a quick snow fix with my dog, straight off the bus . I've been in winds like that up there but I've never camped anywhere up there. Saving for a Hilleberg so hopefully I can comfortably do the same 😊
@@GoodBlokeOutdoors mate the Fairfield Horseshoe is a belter walk... Did it last Easter and was perfect weather.. Hope you get to enjoy some of that!... Yeah I know what you mean about the hilleberg.... Just putting money away all the time but having to dip into it to survive and that 😂😂.. Mate I appreciate the effort you put into your videos and honestly although I also follow others, yours are the videos that I relate to the most and make me want to get out there!...You should have a map and be able to read it!.... You should know the names of the peaks you're surrounded by!.. But I love that you don't and you just smash it and whack a tent anywhere 😂. I'm getting back to wildcamping this year and you're a massive inspiration so nice one for that... You're a proper legend 👍🏻
Well, that is what we oop north call a bit nesh. You make even the worst conditions seem fun. It looked a tough walk in that gale force wind mate. Fair play, you earned your thumbs up this week. Well done pal, excellent video, thoroughly enjoyed it.
I was watching you watching Paul while he was watching you while I was watching Paul watching you. Thats getting hard to follow... Great vid as ever. Cheers
Farkinell!! Did ya lose your pack cover for good? Took off like a sail. Crawling down that hill looked dead intense too. Great vid! Hope your night with lads was a bit more chill....
Another epic adventure. We thought you had broken a tooth biting into that frozen chocolate waffle 😮😂. Thankfully not and you went on to enjoy all your meals. Pleased you got off the mountain in one piece. Looking forward to the next one.
How did you get on inside your Alpkit hunka bivi bag Liam ? was it dry inside ? Ive got one but i have only used it in some of my tents with a lesser bathtub denier than the Hillys (The ones that wet out that is and its worked fine with zero condensation build up but its been modified having a 3/4 length central zip which i only do up if i feel the need to regulate my temperature.
Not a place for jeans & trainers is it 😮 Wicked vid as always Liam. Definitely a plan with a scran.. modern equipment has come on leaps & bounds from when i was younger. Ridge tents were doing it back in the day..😅
Awesome video Liam. Loved it. I felt alive just watching you. I thought you had a Newcastle accent but you're from Bradford! I'm your neighbour from Leeds! Looking forward to seeing your other adventure videos!!
Great vid, tough weather. The Soulo BL handled it easily though. The wind speed after having packed up, was pretty daunting. Can I ask, how did the Hunka XL bivy perform? Did you feel it wicked condensation from the sleeping bag outwards or did it feel moist on the inside? Truelly funny, watching a video-in-video-in-video. Death to pot noodles, long live bowl noodles! ;) Caramel coffee though? (asked the espresso-fundamentalist...) 🤙
Best one yet mate! Superb video, your outlook, grit and determination are inspiring! Keep enjoying yourself and stay safe. If only I was young again! Summer camps only for me!😂😂

Wow, what a breeze, it makes you nervous, it's exciting and tense, it's great
Watching you while I'm wild camping in the peaks tonight, thinking I'm hard core cus it's a bit windy 😂. Love the videos keep em coming 👍
Haha yeh I was c9mplaining abt getting sandblasted last weekend while packing up my camp. I stand corrected on what "diabolical wind" means 😂
Hi Liam. Brilliant video mate, wow that was some wind mate, Jesus wept!! Thanks as ever for sharing your adventure mate, all the best Dave. 😀⛰🥾🏕️

Great video 👍 I had a failed camp in Snowdon the other day! Rained away unfortunately! Took my crampons and ice axe too 🤣
I was up there in a yellow warning last year in my husky flame 2. The wind got strong but I loved it. Great vids mate
I must admit I've never been in those conditions. I got caught up in the blizzard of 93, but it was nothing like that wind.
Awesome Liam, fair play, love watching ❤❤
Thanks Alan, hope you are well mate.

Ha ha loved that adventure! As you stated no matter how bombproof your tent is, it is just a be of fabric and poles. Stood up well. Stay safe!
Exactly that mate! Thanks for watching
End it with a bang! Such a fun video. Congrats on some more wainwrights
Thanks Pam, slowly but surely ticking them off.

Well windy and it must of been bloody freezing !!!
Hilleberg tents...condensation traps.
They're really not designed for the damp UK climate but the extreme cold but dry, Scandinavian one.
I was watching you watching Paul while he was watching you while I was watching Paul watching you. Thats getting hard to follow... Great vid as ever. Cheers
How did you like you Columbia Titanium jacket? Good to see a youtuber here in UK proudly wearing Columbia gear🤜🤛
Its great mate.. 1 of my most worn jackets of last 12 months
did you permanently lose your backpacks raincover?!.🤓
10 points for the sheep, hardy little buggers, no sleeping bag, no tent, no snow googles and no chocolate waffles required.
Epic as always...💯✌🎞
Thank you
