lol, I live in Georgia, USA where we panic if we get even a dusting of snow or any ice at all. We run to the grocery store and buy up all the milk, bread, and toilet paper whether we need them or not. Then we go out and have car wrecks. We have no idea how to drive if snow or ice are even mentioned. Schools and businesses close and we try to build snowmen but very rarely have enough snow. We just wind up making mudmen. In addition to the bread and milk we hit the liquor store and have blizzard parties and play in our dusting of snow. That’s winter in the Deep South, USA!
Just once I’d love to experience a real blizzard. As long as I was warm, cozy, and enjoying the view from a picture window beside a roaring fire. I would build a REAL snowman.

It's amazing what nature is capable of. We are insignificant compared to the power of nature! She can be gentle, but also unrelentingly hard and unforgiving. Respect for remaining so calm under these difficult circumstances. I know, you can't do anything else. The noise of the wind, the shaking of the van and the little snowfall in your van also makes it more difficult to make it cozy and to hunker down. Absolute stunning footage of your ski outing. Interesting to see the driving difficulties on ice and snow. And all this in April! Stay safe Jarl. Greetings, Marinka

In California, we get earthquakes. If it's bad, the signs go up: "Repent! The end is near!" One year, our neighbors across the street left for Florida when a big earthquake hit and many aftershocks followed. They came back pretty soon. So we asked them why? They said they got caught in a horrible hurricane and that at least, you can run from an earthquake easier than a hurricane.

Only thing I can think of to fix your vent problem is heavy bean bags or heavy lead shot in a tubular form around 2inches in diameter to Go around the vent and completely go around it, the weight of the shot bags on the outside would prevent it from blowing away in the storm, I think it would work let me know what you think about that brother 🇺🇲😎🙏

@@NorwegianXplorer I didn't realize that was in April, any how the only downside is that you would have to get up on the roof of your van too put it around the vent but it would work and just take it down when ready to drive away, take care be safe seriously luv your channel brother nice work 🙏💯.

What about an extra strong tarp/cover with a strong elastic fitting that fits right to the area

I'll bet the window weather stripping shrinks during extreme wind and cold.

Harrowing! I don't know how you could do any work with that amount of wind! I've heard that parking against a building is a safeguard from wind but if the wind keeps changing directions, it sort of nullifies the protection. Too bad you couldn't park your van in the garage but it's probably too big to fit.

Yes, it is to big for the garage, no shelter would do around the houses, So it was just about riding it out
