For Odoyev, there's an achievement to go for that's unique to them called "mass production": Starting as Odoyev, own one of every manufactory. This is your one and only opportunity to get it
Big fan of Hitachi excavators. I find they're great at all things hole-related. Some operators complain about excess vibration during use, but I simply use my Hitachi slower until the vibrations are more tolerable. It's a great brand, maybe they can sponsor a video.
If you really want to lean into the epic army quality as Oda you should go open with the buddhism incident, that turns you into an ikko ikki teochracy which lets you pick integrate the sohei reform for an additional 5% discipline & infantry combat. :)
You should consider playing Otomo. They were christians and their national ideas have bonuses for the Papal Curia. Fun campaign for the Christian Japan.

If you ever do another daimyo run in A-Z, you should play a run through where the goal is to dev every province to atleast 20! Densely-deved Japan would be a neat goal, I think!
Oda is like the perfect anti hre minor, there you have to go slow and careful. In japan its like a mad rush to grow asap. The mino fort is a bitch, but once you get it its a solid protection from siege race buffer
Oda is a lot of fun. I played them once and my military was completely overpowered. I almost stack wipped armies with same size and technology. I became a super-strong global japanese empire.
You should play another Japanese mino, form japan, and do the divine empire. For the flavour. you could do it with ryukyu or so, but it doesn't feel the same.
I would still like to see a colonial Japan game. Not sure if any daimyos are really best at that but I think it would be a fun A to Z. Maybe set the goal to be full colonize a certain region.
Hmm... the largest ethnic Japanese population outside of Japan is in Brazil (specifically, Sao Paulo), and Peru has had a president of Japanese ancestry, so maybe a goal of conquering all of South America?

Peninsular countries also build great navies, Spain, Portugal, Greece back in the time, Rome, the Nordics, Malacca, the Arabs, etc

I believe Ouchi or one of the other southern Daimyo has colonial ideas in their national ideas, so one of them could be finto watch

I would recommend to do some show-strenght-wars for endless power points. I did as Oda and I had very superior tech.

You could give the Otomo clan a play, and go Christian Deus Vult on Japan.
It’s better to do a good amount of show of strengths. Japan will be United a bit later but tech would be higher than Korea’s or atleast the same
