Always enjoy your vids, love to see you test the new Garrett AT MAX and Nokta Impact. Consistent, reliable testing - well done, and much appreciated.
I wish you would do more meteldetecting video's. Haven't seen any. New one in a long time 👍👍
I have one being delivered 10/31, same flagship unit. That's one of the best vids I've seen, the best test bed test actually. Great scenarios, good & trash target combinations. Too bad they didn't send you the 5" coil for the nail mix test for more separation results. but the 11" is no slouch. I know depending upon the site and operator many will pass over the one way hits trying to process more ground. However slowing down and changing process is more my style of hunting a productive site. I like making adjustments on the fly and I work my V3i that way and I know it's limits in my soil. Looking forward to killing it with this Fisher. The latest improvements are what made me grab one. Thank you for all the effort you put into your test plot and the video.
Mildred Moon Did you ever get the Fisher 15” inch coil specificity designed for the LTD? I got it for mine. It really adds depth to find the targets. I can see a quarter over 20” inches deep! Just leaned the Boost mode and cache mode transfers over to motion all metal mode settings. Those are the only two settings that enhance motion all metal modes from discrimination side. I thought each side was independent and didn’t interact with each other but the last two modes do effect motion all metal mode. It boosts the all metal search but you must slow down sweep speed just as using cache mode in discrimination.. but not Boost mode unless it’s trashy. So leave it in Boost mode in discrimination mode settings when using all metal mode to get best performance. Read the mode settings in the instruction manual and you’ll see Boost mode and cache mode effects motion all metal mode. I called Fisher to confirm how it works.
great dedication to do all them tests ***** (test bed with nails ) try just the holes with nails in tone 1n and go through process FA .JE. BP. DE. most people would not use bp or cl on an iron infested site or seller holes full of nails as you need a fast recovery speed to hit the conductive target. bp is for cleaner ground and pasture/grass but you need a slower sweep speed or you would walk over the targets. as you will know fast recovery shallow, slower recovery deep.then ground and whats in ground dependent.i always use that trigger and fast grab after checking the grounds clear of iron or anything else.when you are checking them targets in bp or cl and your unsure of the target response, hold the red button down will engage the de process and if in reach will give a better id. different processes diff sweep speed. bp and cl raise the coil off the ground 4-6 inch.the holes with no nails and deep targets i would like to see you try in motion all metal with a manual ground balance. good luck detecting.

Great video! What is your ground mineral reading on the F75 LTD in your test bed?
Thanks
Love my Fisher F75. I use JE mode the most because you dont have to swing as slow as boost mode and it does better with deep iron. CL mode is a cache mode for larger targets and uses a super slow sweep speed. FA mode is great for clad stabbing at parks with a real fast swing speed and if you tune your ears to the quick beeps it will get good depth still. Love your test garden videos.
Still one of the best if not the best and straight forward tester .
As always more then worthy looking
Take care
Another nice video, the only reason i never got one is that it cant handle very salty wet sand even at 0.0 GB, it will false on salt pockets while the FORS can handle it without falsing at almost max sens. If you intend to keep this machine for relics, coins, jewelry inland, it is an amazing machine.
i,ve been using a fisher f75 for the last 6 years now and i read some of the messages on hear and thing do they know how to use one lol i use my one on the beach and all over the country side , i have found gold silver ect in field were there been hammer big time , the f75 is the best one out there , if u can,t use it try a minelab as they are for new bees
Best test vids on RUclips, great job scanner. I would really like to see you run the Whites TDI SL, and the Tesoro Outlaw with the new rsd coil through your test bed. I'm looking closely at these units. I plan on selling some older detectors to make room for some new ones. I like the Outlaw's 10.6 frequency, and as for the TDI, I like the fact that it's pulse induction with a high, low, and all conductor selector switch, and that it has ground balance and pulse width. If Whites would make this in a water proof version, it would be the bomb. The TDI is pricey, but it may be the ultimate beach, relic, and coin hunter all in one. Plus, since it's a pulse unit, it should be very deep.
have you tested the nokta impact yet
What model detector would you recommend for a beginner but serious about sticking with it. Mostly freshwater areas probably kayaking to areas untouched off Potomac river. Or in the Appalachian mountains. Most gold here is found inside quartz from the research I've found.
My Price is very open would like to stay under 600 tho
I'd just like to add that vdi numbers start to go out the window after about 8" .I'd take more notice of your ears,... don't be putting all your faith in screens. nice quality video
+Peter Brannen I'll gain some experience this year. Will keep that in mind.
Excellent#!! Would luv to see this test on an Impact, simplex & t2!!
Very nice. I've been waiting for this one. Awesome review thanks for sharing.
Nice clip but if you were out detecting I really don't believe you would dig most of those targets
Well, but is this the new Fisher F75 Ltd V2.0 version containing the bp program and the Cache Locating Process? It is not entirely clear to me.
I was almost decided to buy this machine, but if Tesoro Tejon is better, I would save a lot of money...
Regards, can you help me how to set the fisher f75 to work at the greatest possible depth? thank you in advance.
sounds like jessie ventura detecting
have you done any testing with the Xterra 705?
57 points out of 66 ? most of signals go into iron - not dig-able in real word . 40 points maybe less - please compare test with tesoro vaquero ( 50 points )
It ends up how well a person can distinguish good to bad signals from experience with a detector. I've ran it in extreme trash with no luck but after using it and learning it pulled quite a bit out of the same location. You are correct though for someone that doesn't want to take extreme time in testing and fine tuning. The Vaq is all around hard to beat. Same as the Tejon. Tejon is hotter and that is why it beat the F75. Goes the same with most all Tesoros That I've had my hands on. Beep and Dig.
This was a very well made video, thx it helped me a lot
I want to buy a metal detector for relic and gold hunting, I am between the f75ltd and the Tesoro tejon... What is your opinion...?
anastasios zafiropoulos F75 SE LTD...
Thanks scannerguy, I fine your testing of these Machines very informative as in comparison to other machines . As i am now retired , this give a better idea on what machine (brand) to buy .the price range on all machines i have looked at are around the same amount , this way i can choose which machine is right for me . Rather than having some sales person trying to sell me there product & claiming it's the best . I also read the comments from other viewers on there preferred machines. I'm tending to lean towards the Fisher F75 SE LTD . With that in mind , would the machine work just as well on a beach (wet sand ) as it does on your test bed ? Any information would be great appreciated .Or even a suggestion on what product would suit a beginner like me . Thanks.
What's the difference in the f75 and the f75 LTD and would the f75 perform like the f75 LTD?
Think the F75 is quite a bit noisier or chattery comapred to the LTD. Should perform about the same though for depth
Darnell Hello World Metal Detecting Williams the F75 doesn’t have Boost or cache mode. It adds power to depth detection. It also has DST. It helps with electrostatic interference from power sources like power lines.
I appreciate this test. Is this is one of the machines I am considering. I personally think for the price this is a hard detector to be. I would like to know personally what you really think this machine the F 75 LTD I currently swing T2 . Have you tested this machine? I looked for a video did not see one. T2?
Think t2 and this are close. Its a great all around detector. I'm. A v3i guy personally but man are they hard to tune. Finicky.
Great test system I love my F75 LTD2, interesting the Tejon out scored it but i love Tesoros as well, had a Vaquero and several others but not the Tejon ..yet.
Hard to beat a Vaq or Tejon

Is there a noticeable difference between the camo se and the all black se ltd? Thanks
I've never used the camo so hopefully someone will chime in.
There are several versions of the F75 to consider. 1. Is the original gold that has not been updated. Running pure without a DST upgrade, it will run deeper and hotter than a DST upgraded gold, but also with more chatter. 2. Next you have the camo or original black (LTD 1) that has not had a DST upgrade. This one will also run deeper and hotter than the new black LTD 2, but with more chatter. This one is also deeper than the original non-upgraded gold because of Boost Process. 3. Then you have the new gold with DST or in the same category an original gold that has been DST upgraded by the factory, which is more stable but loses about a half inch. 4. Is the new LTD 2 Black that has Boost and DST or in the same category an older black LTD 1 that has been sent back and factory upgraded to include the DST upgrade, or the original gold that has been sent back and upgraded with all processes including BP and DST ($309 upgrade). Those will lose about a half inch but again will be more stable.
A couple good pieces of info on these though. I wrote to Fisher and asked if they would be offering the upgrade program again. They did reply and relayed that the program will begin this winter in January through the end of March. It costs $159 to upgrade any model to DST, FA etc. It costs $309 to get the full upgrade including Boost and Cache with DST. Second piece of info is that I tried Dankowski's setup for these (well known by First Texas for killer setups) and it was amazing, the depth difference. Deepest performance I've ever gotten out of one in my soil.
Mr. Technical Hi, I seen one of your replies/comments regarding the different versions of the fisher f75 on a video scannerguy1968 did testing the fisher f75. You seem to know a lot about the different f75 variations and I was hoping you could help me out.
I just bought a used fisher f75 in excellent condition. It's the all black version and says f75 special edition on the box and on the elbow bracket on the machine itself there is a sticker that says f75 special edition. The box it came in says special edition f75 with DST, FA and 4 Fetone(2F, 2H, 2L, 1n). And in the menu on the machine for processes it has FA, dE, JE, bc, PF, bp, and CL. So it seems to have everything the LTD 2 has. But mine only says special edition not LTD. It also came in the bundle pack that included the extra 5 inch round white coil for trashy areas. Can you tell me which machine I have? Is the special edition bundle pack with the extra coil just a repackaged LTD 1 or 2? And since my f75 has the DST, FA and all the processes does that mean this special edition is the same as the LTD 2 in a different package? Thanks in advance for any info you can pass along!

How did you like the Fisher when compared to the Lobo SuperTrac? Especially when using that larger Tesoro coil?
+Michael Proctor Fisher is better but for gold the lobo
You just earned a new subscriber
My t2 se will do the same granted it has the bp mode and cl mode and most settings are the same
Sounds like the nickel is being masked by iron. Might want to dig it up and clean out the area a bit . Before you do that, however, try the White's MX Sport with a 7 " or smaller coil. You should be pleasantly surprised.
I think I are correct. Been up testing more getting ready for more vids and even a explorer we or whites v3i are coming up wierd
is this f75 have the new dst in it
Yes. Ran it both on and off. Quieter on. Didn't seem to alter depth at all.
you perry haen
+scannerguy1968 that seems to be the consensus on DST upgraded models. That depth is equal on or off. There's does seem to be a depth loss between models that have never experienced the upgrade vs ones that have though. It seems that with the upgraded models the DST is never fully disengaged, but turned down when turned "off." Some amount of shielding still remains and a minor amount of depth is lost between upgraded and non-upgraded versions.
You do some good review's very interesting, How do you think the tesoro tejon would fair against the f75 personally I think it would smash it ?
I own, and regularly use both the Tejon (Black stem U.K spec) & the 75DST: have done for 5 years plus. The 75 is, in my opinion, the better machine. It is far more versatile, and if set up and used correctly, beats the Tejon in most departments. The U.K black stem Tejon is still a great, lightweight, and relatively powerful MD, with a very wide iron discrimination range, and excellent target separation. However, it is 'dated', and sadly, it's powerful dual circuitry was never utilised to it's potential, imo ; ie, up-rating to include iron volume/tone break/fast AM retune etc. Such a pity. Tesoro rested on old laurels, and went to the wall because of this.
Please test an XP Deus.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great video but I still prefer Fors Cor. I don't think anyone swings a machine slow enough to hit some of those targets and I worry that under normal conditions it would miss some of the hits you had barely moving the coil. It needed a lot of mode switching too which isn't really how most people detect. I ain't knocking it, F75 is a serious detector, but I think Fors is sharper.
The Core is hard to beat. It's so well tuned per say. And everything you need a detector to do it does
I never knew mike off breaking bad detects.
I think youl find I'm right. if you start to bury the same type if coins at various depths say out to 12" then watch your screen and youl see how the numbers react good luck.
Not impressed - very slow with bad separation machine on deeper targets :(
Sad to see that most of US detectors struggle to reach 10-11inches deep...typical " Park machines.." in Europe a serious detector must reach 15 "
I would say pretty nice detector! I would love that!
Alot of them signals where straight iron and you still gave it a point for them 😂 brand bias me thinks, when are you doing the at pro again but with the pro in pro mode and not mong mode, being waiting like 3 years...
PS try swinging the machine its a motion machine yiul get more realistic results.
Peter Brannen doesn’t matter if he swing the coil or the target. As long as something moves through the signal field.
Swinging way to slow even in BP mode
Yep. No wonder he's missing some targets.
game on? hahahhahaha I think you should do all your videos again and swing them like you did with this one
FYI Here in Okinawa there is a real....real ....small bronze coin,,,Just a flake" Not sure how it does it, but it can air test at 5" where many others can't pick it up unless it's right against the coil" The CTX did good, but not that good"....The coin is the size of a pigeon's eye and even is called a pigeon eye coin" Just FYI 👍
Get a100 points system ! I don't like 666 !
Swinging the F75 to slow .......
This testing is a joke!
Obsolete detecter... Try minelab equinox 800
Get a job and get off the food stamps ! Get a real job !
I will say you were biased on your test results. Would have had better results if you knew how to swing a detector.
hi
i am planning to buy a F75 LTD, but the one i want to buy is not the upgraded version (v2.0) are there a significant difference between the upgraded and the non-upgraded version?
thank you in advance.
I could be wrong but think the V2.0 is quieter by a bit. Only info I get with the v2.0 is Non U.S. tests.
+scannerguy1968
thanks for the respond.
i read similar things to.
hope it will find some good stuff for me in the fields. :)
