Same here! I shoot Sony and their system lacked an affordable midrange f/2.8 zoom and tamron provided excellent, small, light and affordable alternatives to the pricy Sony GM line. Thank you for your video, I almost ordered the 23mm f2 yesterday. Btw, does this lenses work with x-pro 3? I know there are damage issues before. But I don't know has the Viltrox updated the lenses design since then. Thanks again.
I used the non-updated version on my XPro3. It really only barely scratches the lens release button and puts a small amount of strain on the lens mount. It makes it a little harder to put the lens on beause of the added friction, but I've had lenses and adapters that have felt way tighter before. If you own or have access to a machine lathe its actually a really easy fix. They did however release an updated version that fixes the issue.
Beautiful content my friend 😲😲😲 how does it feel to live outside the matrix 😋 (your video gave me that cool vibe)... i will never stop following your account 👍🏼
I usually shoot with the classic negative simulation on the xpro 3 and classic chrome on the X-t3. However, a lot of these photos were edited with my lightroom preset pack in the description.
You can. I used this on my xpro 3. It very slightly touches the lens release button and will rub a small amount of paint off. It doesn’t exert enough force to damage any part of the lens mount and would be equivalent to putting a heavy lens on the camera. The issue is pretty easily fixed with a metal file or more correctly, and also easily, with a machine lathe.

Just ordered the lens with your link
Your photos are beautiful. Do you use any film simulation?! Or have made any film simulation in camera that you can share?
I usually shoot with the classic negative simulation on the xpro 3 and classic chrome on the X-t3. However, a lot of these photos were edited with my lightroom preset pack in the description.
Just a heads up that you cannot use this lens on a X-Pro3 because it will damage your lens release button.
I kinda want that fire hydrant picture at 2:50 as a print. Just something about it...
That could possibly be arranged haha. Thanks!
Great video. Thank you for the effort)
My pleasure!
What's the highest ISO you're using? Some of the images are very noisy...not bad, just noticeable.
I use auto ISO and my max is 12800. I also add grain in post. I like the grungy look ;)
20 seconds in... you've earned my like.
