I just started using prolong in my wife's 2012 mustang V6. I noticed an instant improvement. It had a shudder, until it warms up a little, but it's gone now. I'll keep using it.

I drove my Dodge pickup truck from South Carolina to Rhode Island and back on PROLONG with no oil at all. It never overheated and didn't even get hot. Gas mileage was normal. I couldn't believe it myself! I now use PROLONG in all my engines! Boats, 5 cars, 3 motorcycles and even my mowers!

About 10 years ago my mechanic recomended that I use some Prolong in the crankcase of my 1992 Ford Explorer. I asked why and he replied that "it's the only oil additive that he knows of does what it says it will do." I tell him I'll give it a try. I dropped off my wifes Honda for him to work on. I picked up some prolong oil additive on the way home. It comes in a box. When I went to add it to the cranckcase there was a sticker which said "Prolong superlubricants" along with the bottle. My son was in middle school at the time and had automotive stickers all over his notebook, so I saved it for him and stuck it in the center console. A day or so later I picked my wife up at work so we could pick up her Honda. Part way to the mechanics she asks in "That Voice" "WHAT is THIS?" I glance over to see her holding the sticker that says "Prolong Super Lubricants" "That's the stuff Nate told me to add to the oil, I thought Matt might want the sticker for his notebook" "Oh" was her response. I smiled and asked "You thought it was something else didn't you?" "Yeah" she replied. "And I just took all the wind out of your sails, didn't I?" "Yep" she said. It was quiet the rest of the way to the mechanics. We went inside and paid for the work on the Honda and I said "oh, by the way, I tried out that prolong like you told me. You didn't tell me it could be so dangerous, It darn near killed me!" "Why, What happened?" he asked. As I proceded to relay the story about my wife finding the sticker he began looking down at the floor and put his hand up on one side of his head rubbing his temple and frowning. "You do realize that I'll never be able to look your wife in the eye ever again don't you?" I have never seen someone try SO hard to not laugh in my life! It seemed to help a lot, but even if it didn't, it was worth the price!😁

I would only use an Mos2 or Ester based friction reducers and nothing else unless your engine has imminent issues that need attending.
Good quality 5w40 with a can of Liqui Moly Oil Additiv is what I run.

Ceratec is far superior to Mos2 and in the same product brand family. Give it a go, used it on three different vehicles with success.

Everyone just a fyi. Stiction eliminator has fr3 in it so no need to buy both 👍 (diesel engines becomes quieter within 50-100 miles letting you know the product was successful)

Another useless "review". Meaningless photos with voice-over of manufacturers' ad-copy. No testing, just blah, blah. No info enabling meaningful comparison.

LiquiMoly Ceratech is good, Project Farm showed it significantly reduces friction. Some of their others are counterproductive. BG has the most trusted product line because their products work as well or better than their competitors, expensive but effective.

I believe that all of these are overrated and overpriced, I would want independent studies before I added anything into an engine that the manufacturer requires a 0-16 oil. ED claims won’t hurt your savings like a bad additive will on your pricey engines.
