I changed to Gum Out brand of fuel system cleaner and after 1 treatment, I gained 6 MPG and a lot of power. This was on a 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan 3.8L with 218,000 miles. You’re better off getting catalytic converter cleaner since it cleans all these parts of the fuel system these products claim to and more. Restrictions of flow in the exhaust system and buildup on the O2 sensors are often the cause of many symptoms. Besides, I’ve tried most of these and I felt Rislone in the binary bottle has the best results
Interesting that you say for Lucas Oil Lube and fuel conditioner "The only major draw back was that it can only be used in gasoline engines" but the label clearly states that it can be used in Gas or Diesel engines?
Crazy cool...hey the redline the number one choice obviously got to be stronger than everything before it...would you go with something like 4 seafoam, petroleum solvent is probably all in these, but yeah. Oh, and they all go in the tank...watched a vid on seafoam, where it went in the crankcase, tank, and intake manifold while the engine ran till it was empty, then sat for 10 min and restart to blow the carbon out, which one would you use? I have a Hyundai Santa Fe with 303,000 km on it runs well, 3.3.l v6 Awd, I love it and want to just treat it well and see how long she goes for. So, the question is the same, as the three steps if you care to go through them, can you do the same with redline? 3 treatments intake manifold, gas tank and crankcase? appreciate the video. PS Lucas oil treatment would be beneficial? also, I am running Pennzoil ultra-platinum full synthetic.
Lucas is great but they're forgetting one AWESOME fuel injector cleaner which is Z- max!! Even the oil treatment is Top- Tier!! Too bad you can only get it online unless you buy the whole kit at Auto Zone. I average up to 40 mpg on the hwy in my 2017 Hyundai Elantra!!!
Naphtha a cleaning agent you can buy in a lot of hardware stores, it's used for cleaning out catalytic converters, it's in cat clean the stuff that you put in your gas to clean catalytic converter, I also think that it's in PB Blaster, and it's cheap
What was the "science" behind this? For one I was not aware STP Water Remover cleaned fuel; systems of deposits other than water. I have used a couple of these products. I used to use Royal Purple ( still do from time to time ) but I'm not adding a $22 Cdn Dollars bottle of injector cleaner every 2 or 3 tank fulls of fuel to save a few bucks on fuel so I just use it maybe every 5000 mile oil change. I once put the product Gum Out and there was a noticeable difference in idle smoothness and after running through 3/4 of the tank on a long trip, the acceleration was better on the next tank full. Use good quality fuel, pray that the "name brand Fuel Station" has no issues with their holding tanks etc. and once in awhile ( maybe once every couple hundred miles or so, do a short burst of hard acceleration not necessarily pedal to the metal, maybe on a long downhill straight stretch to "blow out" the combustion chambers a bit and do that with a bottle of fuel injector cleaner in the tank.

Restrictions of flow in the exhaust system and buildup on the O2 sensors are often the cause of many symptoms. Besides, I’ve tried most of these and I felt Rislone in the binary bottle has the best results
Catyclean is ok
I tried them all in the past 30 years. Amsoil is the best for me.
Can the red line complete fuel system be used once a month or every fill-up?
Berryman's B12 FTW.... 🤷... Was that even tested?
Sold thousands of used cars over a 30 year period. Chevron Techron works best!
I have 80000 km on my Crv 1.5 turbochanged it is time to use fuel injector cleaner. Which cleaner is best for my car. Thanks appreciated
The Lucas upper cylinder lube and cleaner was literally made for diesels, that's why it comes in gallons...
What about the number one product. AMSOIL !!!
I only have 34 000 miles on my '19 Altima AWD, should I start using any of these ?
You should be fine by now your car only have 34,000 miles with that miles your car it’s considered new.
Interesting that you say for Lucas Oil Lube and fuel conditioner "The only major draw back was that it can only be used in gasoline engines" but the label clearly states that it can be used in Gas or Diesel engines?
Will injecter cleaner help me ? My car is jacking up only have the in tank filter
Go with the Techron. Chevron considered the best gasoline uses Techron in its gasolines.
Lucas fuel treatment can be used in gasoline or diesel. It’s on the bottle
I guess Amsoil PI didn’t make the cut. It’s a great product 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Good 👍 video cool 😎
Mecarun eco 10000 beast made in France !
Since Chemtool B12 is not on the list, I know the list is meaningless.
You got that right!
So which one will work best for RAM 1500 2017?
LIQUI MOLY ALL THE WAY
FSM is the best I have found.
Odd that bg products were left out. Was what i used in my shop because i knew it worked.
Are these also usable for diesel engines?
Liqui Molly is the bomb for gas engines.. 5 stars and a 100 mpt better..
CRC works best for Diesel
agreed put this in my b7 rs4 wouldn't put anything else in😊
What products that clean CATALYTIC CONVERTER
Cataclean is very good. But you have to the label. Then you fill up your tank with premium gas.83 octane
Last week I tried STP ultra 5 in 1 and my car runs smother
The product that I mentioning is called Justice Brothers tune up it's an oil treatment that makes a big difference as far as power and gas miles.
im using amsoil pi now. im goid 2 go.
Go to the hardware store, and buy some naphtha, use that with a little bit of transmission fluid works the best ever
Hi, what is naphtha.?
@@mokam6218 Its a solvent.
Naphtha a cleaning agent you can buy in a lot of hardware stores, it's used for cleaning out catalytic converters, it's in cat clean the stuff that you put in your gas to clean catalytic converter, I also think that it's in PB Blaster, and it's cheap
@@roberthudson5999 an excellent cleaning solvent, but it smells horrible
@@n.b.p.davenport7066 thanks
They've already made a big mistake Lucas fuel injector can be used in gasoline or diesel I wouldn't pay much attention to this video
REDEX! Brilliant stuff but not mentioned. Maybe it's not available in 'merica?
How you determine ?
Supertech FI cleaner works very well.
I like Star Tron best
Are they selling Red line in Canada 🇨🇦 thank you 🙏
The scary part is that people out there in the world never uses these products and never maintained their vehicles 😑
how about amsoil fuel treatment
So either they all work or it is just placebo
Why wasn’t BG 44K recommended?
amazing.
Didnt have any proof or tests to validate anything he was saying.
click bait video
He probably just got the info from each bottle label
Bull shit.25 years in the field. Most fuel injectors are self cleaning
Techron is the best followed by Lucas. Techron is too spendy, it's Lucas for me.
wrong .. you use something that contain EPA.. only chevron contains EPA... i think Gumout contains EPA, too. If no ePA, it wont work
FUEL treatment no what money 🤑,engines are expensive to repair..Use me now,or pay the shop later.
Marvel mystery oil works good
1:14 who said you can only add it to gasoline? Lucas fuel additive is probably the most commonly used diesel fuel additive out there.
