True I am using Xperia 1 ii from past 1 year I don't know why I can't use bluetooth headphone. I am always using wired headphones. Its a huge difference.
Don't forget the charger. And the two main reasons I ordered was the display resolution and telephoto camera. I can't believe Samsung is selling a flagship phone (S21+) with a 1080p screen and a f̶a̶k̶e̶ misleading telephoto camera.
I've had an Xperia 1-II for about 6 months now, for it soon after sony announced the 1-iii - saved home cash that way. Truly the 21:9 screen is absolutely delightful & can't complain about the camera either. Happy with my purchase ^^
Gave the Mk3 a thorough try yesterday in Tokyo. The lenses and pro camera app is very good, a true step ahead of pretty much all the competitors - though a couple of quirks in the early OS versions. Weird bug I noticed was really poor and stuttering frame rate on video live view, though the resultant video was absolutely fine. The 120 fps display at the UHD resolution makes the use experience buttery smooth; Sony has taken great strides in the overall software and physical design. Also another major win is the screen, which in HDR calibrated Rec.2020 mode is stunning and has much better clarity, accuracy and avoids blown out highlights and crushed blacks of the S9 and other models in the Samsung range. The 3.5 mm headphone jack is still essential for me and seals the deal. I'll be ordering this as soon as it becomes available in the UK!
Quirks in the early OS versions? I've been using Xperia 1 II since the first week it hit the market. Excellent hardware. Software experience is just rubbish. Serious shutter lag, some times failed to save a photo, sometimes failed to open the camera and tell you to restart the phone (but if I go to instagram story, the camera is working)
Since LG is out of the market and I refuse to buy anything from Samsung and hell no to any CCP sponsored phones .. this Sony is the only possible Android phone keeping me from jumping ship to an iPhone Pro 13.

I love myself the 5ii, it is the color science behind their shots. It gives shots some "feeling" and that just makes it really a device I enjoy, and of course the 3.5 headphone jack, I do have to say, form factor. Still not 100% sold on the longer body, and also the display brightness.
I also have a 5-ii and it makes me feel quite guilty about not using my E-M5 mkii as much, but the phone does such a good job, and is just there immediately. I love taking low light outdoor shots in manual mode which I stitch together in Photoshop. I have found that the 70mm lens is terrible at autofocussing though.

I think you are right, the colouring behind the shots is nice. I much prefer their approach to the more artificial stuff out there but at the same time I think Sony should use a bit more AI to maybe give their photos a tiny bit of sharpness or oomph.

You even demonstrated right after you didnt turn HDR on while filming and comparing.
My experience with the SONY Xperia 1 III camera is not that great. The 24mm lens when close focusing it only ables to keep the center area sharp, and the rest is very very soft and has that glow effect, which makes taking photos for food and everyday subjects, not a good lens to work with, that's very disappointing for the main camera to produce soft images like that. The bigger problem is that the other day I went to the Huawei store and tried their New P50 camera, OMG it is just incredible, every focal length produces sharp images and accurate color, no kidding. But I have to say the Xperia design is incredibly handsome, that's the only reason I won't replace it just yet because the P50 is not that good looking.

I’m loving Sony
Yesss, I was so bored!
1300 USD. You can get a basic smartphone AND an A7 II with a kit lens for that lmao
Yep, premium phone is very overpriced nowadays.
Is there optical zoom in between the two tele lenses? Or can you not access it?
No there's NONE. The telephoto lense is horrible, Samsung smashed then with their 108MP(2.5x lossless) 3x optical and 100x optical
🤯🌋 Sony beautiful, best smartphone
Good to see that from a sony users perpective i coul nd agree more
Which diver watch is he wearing ?
Do you know if they fix allowing burst shooting in raw? I have 5mk Ii only allows jpg burst
I think 24mm is still there because almost everyone else has 24mm on the phone.
the ultra wide is just not wide enough, probably.
Some reviews have said that this phone (and most/all the others with the same SD 888 CPU) is way too hot. What's your experience with this?
Where can i get this phone? i really interesting
Oh, Sony lets you shoot in raw mode now? It would make using any third party camera apps better.
I'm on a Xperia 5ii and I can shoot raw 😉
Does the display by SONY XPERIA ™ 1 III still dark like on SONY XPERIA ™ 1? And if it is I will cancel my pre-order!
Best camera in smartphone ever...
5:11 Pigeon go quack
Sony xperia is king of every mobile brand on earth...
Is it a good upgrade from a huawei p30 pro?
Is that an Orient watch with a Hirsch leather strap?
Long Time no see.
I think the main lens sould be wider
I miss the sony cybershot phones
Love this phone
I have a Sony Xperia 1 iii

Xperia 5 Mark 2 also knows 4K 120 fps.
Why you never tested the samsung s21 extra ?
Well, while comparing and commenting about the fruit "retaining more video details in the sky", you could have actually turned on that nifty little video HDR toggle right besides the viewfinder on Sony, so it could also " retain more detail in the sky". You even demonstrated right after you didnt turn HDR on while filming and comparing.
I have 1 mk2.
should I go for 1 mk3
Or xperia pro
Wait for Google Pixel 6
i wonder how is alamby doing lately.
This had potential but Sony just keeps missing the Mark.
Kai, a Pro don't use a variable nd filter (like on 4:07) 😉
he no pro, he vidos sux
