OOOOH! MMMMY!!!!!!!!!!!! This is the reason you must LISTEN to Neil Young! Always turn it up load enough to hear his breath, close your eyes and.... Peace ☮☮out!
in late 1982 / I was just 14 / a wild friend arrived at our local High school... he brought with him a variety of items and substances... one of them was a cassette of 'Neil Young' an incredible journey it has been ever since
just left a long doting comment for Natural Beauty, knowing as ivwrite Cortez would come on straight after, I was right....just going to listen ..said it all....same goes for this amazing piece of work WE LOVE YOU NEIL
So happy to have grown up with this man. So many roads and he has always been there. Never negative energy. Always raw, unbridled, yet clear and unmistakably good. My words. My sincerity.... Thank you Neil. Thank you.
Jimi Hendrix and Bob Marley are sadly no longer with us....but we still have Neil to hold a torch for us and show us the way. He has made me laugh, smile, dance and cry. Thank you Neil. From me buying Harvest in 1982, I found the man who I can turn to, whatever mood I am in.
Hard to describe in words...this is a magical experience. Neil is my favorite artist and objectively speaking one of the best songwriters out there. Weltklasse! Greetings from europe!
Dear Steven, it's been 30 years yet I knew I'd find you here. God Bless and keep you Bro! Your brother Bill raised me and brought me up and I survived till adulthood. I'm growing old and I'm grateful for you both. It couldn't have been easy, but I love and thank you both with all my heart.i was 14. You kept me pristine and safe. You taught me to sing Neil Young. I am still singing........
When Neil Plays N Strums N Lays down the wind on the Harp! You just say Thank You Sir ! Your Poetry is Remarkable, your Perspective N Your ❤️ is. A Rare Breed, God Bless You Sir & your Family 💙
This is my Favorite Neil Song, Cortez the Killer, Another Great is Like A Hurricane, They Definitely Bring Out Mr Youngs Brilliance as a Rocking Blues Man!
What a great guitar player who never skips a beat with that awkward looking rhythm. Love how he moves and feels every nuance of sound and if you watch him his movements are totally in step
One of his best gifts to the world. Friend of mine ran into Neil and his dog at the floor of the Grand Canyon one summer many years ago. Neil hung out a bit and shot the shit like any other blok. That is Neil Young......
Gatto surname? perhaps relative of the GREAT teacher John Taylor Gatto? (NYC) I still remember his EIGHT HOUR lectures about Public Schooling and how it actually damages education and kids' mental health... the man actually cared for his students unlike most "teachers" out there
I was there! Halloween weekend 1999, my first Neil Young show, at the Bridge School Benefit. We really came to see the Who, he was opening up for them on Saturday night, but I really enjoyed Neil's set. They also had Tom Waits, Pearl Jam, Green Day, Sheryl Crow, Lucinda Williams, and Brian Wilson. Very good year.
Remarkable confession: "And I know she's living there And she loves me to this day I can still remember when Or how I lost my way" about a former incarnation of ...? Very intense performance!
Starting listening to real music beginning with “Harvest “(age 12)!1200 songs later, this musical genius is still doing it! This version of Cortez The Killer is beautiful! I am blessed to have seen this man play live many times over the past 45 years! They don’t make them like this anymore 😂!Love ya OLD MAN ❤️!!
I've been listening to brother Neil for 45 years . Fortunate enough to see him perform 5 times. You cant compare any other song writer of the present to Neil Young. If I had to it would absolutely be Eddie Vedder. Listen to just breathe. Off he goes. Or release. Eddie and Neil are close friends. ✌
Zuma. A fabulous album. I've seen so many many concerts by other fabulous bands. The Rust Never Sleeps tour was by far my favorite. His music and passion brings tears to my eyes and somehow, hope for the future. Just love his music 🎶🎶🎶
What stuns me about Neil Young is how he can bring such beauty and depth to his music done with his acoustic guitars but then his "all guns blazing" pyrotechnic electric voice is just as good - just somehow different facets of his intuitive brilliance that are somehow the same. God I love his songs and music..
beautiful accoustic take from Neil and his harmonica. this version used in he Almost Famous movie soundtrack when the band disembarked from the plane after an electric storm - a gem

And every bit of that song is factually incorrect. The Aztecs were hyper-violent, warlike trash who were stupid, cruel, and extremely violent. They were killers and cannabals. It was Cortez who forbade the human sacrifices and cannabalism and brought them Catholicism, relative civility, and the Spanish language. Young apparently doesn't like to read history.
One of the greatest ever, if not the greatest(i really think this) There is a lot of very good music but Neil is for me number one!! But its only my humble opinion🙃!

I’m a staunch conservative but I became a huge fan of Neil Young in the 70s. I suppose I was more of a liberal then as many teenagers are. These days I probably I see most things differently than does Neil Young but I will forever be a fan of his music. “He came dancing across the water. Cortez Cortez. What a killer.”
As a performer, sometimes during a song I remember 2 or 3 other times when I've played the same song... I can imagine Neil mentally walking through the decades during these 7 minutes.
There is no one to replace Neil Young
I don't know if this is an opinion? Or common sense! In real life! You can not replace anyone! In my mind his music 🎶 will live on as long as I do.
Neal’s music skills are the greatest And I’ve been listening since I was 12. Now I’m 76.

Such reflective haunting music. Just a great song done so well here. The older I get the more I listen to this music.
At 70 years old I'm just understanding Neil Young x

I adore NY but this particular classic song really needs a Crazy Horse to kick its ass .
Oh and not to forget his harp playing, why doesn't anyone mention it, it's unique the way he uses it....
