    I love hearing Trevor praise Correa and how he values his body/recovery work.. That is all too overlooked across all levels of sports.

    After the streak ended, Jose got another hit on the next at bat and last night had two more. Kudos Miranda!

    Only need is a starter which is awesome to think about that this team is so solid. But also doubt it gets filled to an extent the market is so small and it’s going to be very expensive.

      Also to Trevor’s point no Correa does not party or anything. He said that can wait until after his career is over.

    We know what the offense can do when it's clicking. It has shown it can be real good. It will struggle a bit like they all do from time to time like all offenses but this is what I envisioned. Now you throw Lee to the mix? They are who we are seeing right now.

    I don’t think there’s a point to trade for a bat or a backend started, that would be a waste of prospects IMO.
    It’s either get a high end bullpen arm, or a high end SP, or do nothing IMO.

    Better defensive effort would help our starting staff. Too many NOT IN THE GAME type errors. Manager needs to let the players know that they need to be alert on every play.

    Interesting how teams passed on Brooks Lee and he fell in to the Twins lap.

    Phil, just look up Correa's contract already... I swear you've guessed at it like 4-5 times already this year. Not saying you need to know everyone's contract across 4 sports, but in-season all-stars seems reasonable in your position.

    It's not in Falvey's DNA to make massive trades at the deadline (i.e., 2019 & 2023). As mentioned, a SP is needed. However, it's going to be for a Paddack-esque player. Cal Quantrill is not a bad example.

    • @Razorbacks1
      @Razorbacks1 3 месяца назад

      But when he does he winds up with an injured Tyler Mahle or head case Jorge Lopez so maybe keeping him from making a deadline trade isn’t a bad thing.

    Kepler is a free agent in November so you could package Julien and Kepler and a lower prospect for Luzardo LHP from the Marlins.

      I don’t think you part with a solid right fielder and team leader like kep. I’d sign him for two more with a Third year option.

      The Marlins want prospects, they have no need in Kepler so it will be Julien, a top ten and mid level prospect which would be an over pay.

    Imagine the twins go ahead and get one of the best pitchers in the game at the moment in Trevor Bauer, for a minimum deal and a easy pass to playoff success. He is clear of every accusation and there is nothing that should be stopping him.

    I enjoy Trevor’s takes on this show, but excusing people for participating in or not exposing cheating because they were young is not a good message for young people in this country. You can forgive Correa, but letting him off the hook with the “I was just following orders” defense is bad. Too many people have too many excuses for their immoral, inexcusable behavior.
