I recently thought about how it must be painful for songwriters to perform their popular songs over and over again if they remind them of their loss and hurt.
+AlexaOrchid I guess it's painful but at the same time it keeps you alive. Because at least when I play something I wrote about a sad situation it does remind me about the moment, but also that I did pass that moment because of writing the song. Music is this weird thing nobody understand but everybody that starts living with it can't continue living without it.

I’ve heard that her vibratos are so good, that it can sometimes come out sounding bad in live performances because the speakers that have to increase the sound to fill a stadium will get distorted and mess up her sound.
She is the greatest vocalist that I’ve ever seen in my lifetime. It’s really sad that we live in the age of short term memory and throwaway culture because she has the talent to go down as a Nina Simone or Aretha Franklin. She’s that talented but I doubt she will get the legendary status she deserves because of the time that she came into noteriety.

I like this sooooo much more than the album version. The album version is so busy and loud that it kind of masks the lyrics. I’ve never really noticed how good the lyrics were until now.

Don't wanna be disrespectful. I actually always prefer an acoustic version over the "ordinary" one. But this song is "too strong" for just a guitar strumming and some piano - it's one that got to be full orchestrated to really leave those goosebumbs.
I feel like the instruments fit the mood/situation, and her voice is very strong and seems to almost clash against the softness. However I like that it reflects the message in a way. She keeps her strength over the whole song

A combination of raw, once in a lifetime talent, and immense classical training/hard work. You can’t learn this, and you can’t just be born with this level of talent. She truly is incredible.
