From the bottom of my heart; thank you for giving me faith that beneath my jaded, cynical and bitter exterior, there is some shred of a human soul left. I had such a hard time watching this without crying. I think it's the paradox of hoping these kids never have to actually live the words of this song...and the sadness of knowing the world around will probably put them there at some point.

Among a whole chorus of angelic voices, the woman at 1:42 stands out even more. This was 5 years ago that this was posted. Is she perhaps singing professionally now? I would certainly like to hear her sing again.

Nope, it's a children's choir. Up 'till 12 anyone can enter. 13 and up have to audition. Check their website ;)

I do wonder why someone who clicked a link called "choral tribute" would dislike this. As far as choral tributes go, this is as good as it gets. Wonderful vocals, gorgeous instrumentation, perfect arrangement and absolutely world class production at Abbey Road none less. Well done all involved!
I've taught myself how to play guitar and piano and I'd like to make music, but I never got a foundation in singing and I wish I could've done something like choir or glee club. My voice is decent, but I'm not confident because I never got any formal training. Literally everything I know about music I've basically taught myself and I feel like I missed out on a lot growing up.
Participating in something like Capital Children's Choir would've been awesome.
Same here, I taught myself to play guitar, piano, and now I'm trying to sing, except I sound like broken record, but oh well, about the confidence thing, I was afraid to "sing" but that builds over time.Sing in front of one person, then later on, in front of more people and you will see your confidence build up.
Go and join a choir then. It's never too late.

I can tell this took a very long time and it brings tears to my eyes because these kids are very committed on What they do. It must've been more than 200 children for this one song and how all their beautiful voices came together was amazing

I love Florence + the Machine it's one of my all time favorite groups. I love this song, I got cold chills hearing the voices of the young people. Florence has such a great and unique voice and to be able to sing her song and totally make it sound so great is so amazing! They all have beautiful voice keep singing let your voices be heard as much as you can! Love this just love it!
