  • This workout uses different working positions to challenge the three main stabilisers of your core; hips, trunk and shoulders. Combining the working positions with the fast, explosive movements of the Battling Ropes will help increase core strength and develop more power in all of your movements.
Protocol: 30 seconds per set, 15 seconds rest. Perform 2 sets of each exercise. Total time = 12mins.

The ropes are durable and just like the ones at the gym. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxTFxba6lNeHrZaHoY_LXe6ZzmMfaipnwu Caution: I bought the 50 feet ropes and they are long and heavy so make sure you have the space (I do have the space). If I was to do it again I would probably get a shorter version as 50 feet (25 feet each side) is a little long.

Who makes that Powerbag (15) that you are using to anchor your rope? Looks very handy as well as possibly a bag to carry your rope?

Mike Hill Just watched and enjoyed the battle rope workout. Being retired and not wanting to spend the money for a battle rope, I figured what can I use that is fleible, about the right diameter and weighted? I grabbed a 50 ft. old fashioned rubber garden hose, filled it with water, screwed it end to end and looped it around a very heavy garden planter. Worked out well, and I'm more likely to need to water my garden then ever have to tie down a really big animal with a rope. Cool to re-purpose something that I have already paid for.
