355 is the most beautiful Ferrari ever built. Everything after that started to look like a spaceship. The 430 was nice looking, but the 355 has that true "Ferrari" look. Thanks for taking us along for the ride!

Note: Lift off foot from the clutch pedal it might be minor but cause wearing of the clutch and gives you less stable position in the seat. Clutch in - clutch out - remove!

What a glorious car. Interior, exterior, performance, handling, the engine note... It's one of those few cars where you have no "buts" following a good comment. The F355 and 288 GTO are my absolute favorites from the modern era.

@@garyuk761 they were 60k about 3 years ago. Not they are hard to find for less than 90k and some of them are closer to 120k for pristine models.

The F355 is 30 years old and still looks like a hot sports car. I wish Ferrari brought it back addressing it's underlying mechanical faults.
Believe it or not older Ferrari are very reliable and easy to fix the problem is bad shops and Internet forums spread false information. There not cheap to own and maintain but no older special car is. Check the channel for more classic Ferrari content as I specialize in restoring and preserving them

yeah and the mechanical throttle is stiff you can feel it open unlike new cars today. its a cool car and the 1995 are the best ones to get.

the F355 today is a very different experience than if it was new because the car is so rare and valuable so you can not drive it too hard. the QV i can kill everyday and it keep ticking

This is my dream since I was a children in 90s gold times. I regret not buying this car 5 years ago. Today I can't buy it anymore. Very valued.
Yeah at one time 10-15 years ago these were so cheap $40-69k now good ones like mine are $285-$325k
That half throttle is to die for.
since this video I now have the Capristo Level 2 with the bypass valve mechanically open at all times and I really love it. I will be doing a video on that soon once I button up some other stuff I am working on

in this video car was fitted with Fabspeed headers and Capristo Sport Cats and Nouvalari SS muffler. The car currently have a Capristo 2 Muffler and Test Pipes which is a bit more rasp and high pitch.
Hope it's not too anoying when you drive some hundred miles... beautiful car with cuio leather! (Mine is rosso/crema/nero).
Not at all I have recently switched to Capristo and will go do a new video soon. I love it

its so easy to work on this car and do everything yourself but some parts can get expensive but so can it be for any older BMW, Porsche or Mercedes. where you get robbed is having a dealer do all the work if your a DIY and enjoy working on cars the ownership of any older Ferrari is awesome these cars are so much fun to work on.
My favorite car in 90s (that era with McLaren F1...). Now I do not have a favorite car, there are many different great cars.
All the 90s sports and supercars were the best from Lotus, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Porsche etc

Heard a base F355 at the dealership service center yesterday. Not that great by modern standard. Was actually disappointed. I was there for over 6 hours waiting for my car, so I heard a lot of Ferrari’s starting up and idling. They had a brand new 812 Competizione with shipping covers on the wheels, but I didn’t hear it startup.
stock these cars and most older Ferrari do not sound great plus they need to be driven under load an high RPM they are very different than modern cars.
That pour clutch release bearing... Don't keep your foot on the clutch pedal when done schifting, it will destroy things in the long run.

Wasn’t belt the exhaust was rubbing causing chirping noise we fixed it easily. Ck the channel for more videos on my F355

I have a physical injury that is why I keep my leg there but I never have issues with clutch wear ever on my cars
None of the modern ferrari will ever sound like this again. I don't care how fast they might be, the visceral experience is gone.

Nouvalari SS muffler, Fabspeed Sport cats and headers. My car now has a Capristo 2 Muffler, Test pipes, No Cat Y Pipe and Tubi headers its much better now i will make a new video in the spring of the new sound.

I don't care how fast your McLaren MPQRS420 S GT Track R Sport LT limited is. It will never, ever, ever sound as good as this.

I always thought this car would sound like a vacuum cleaner. I was way wrong.
One rule on driving a manual transmission, you never ever rest your foot on the clutch, you will over worn it and it could give you problems.

the car now have a Capristo which is a different tone for sure and I mechanically modified the exhaust valve to be open all the time. I will post new videos next month when it cools off
@@autofanaticcars don’t get me wrong it sounds amazing. I think I’m just pretty extreme when it comes to exhaust mods and noise haha my dream is a straight piped f12 but also this is my fav v8 Ferrari and sounds by far the best. Capristo stage 3 all the way hahah no resonator or mufflers ! ❤️

Yeah because the modern Ferraris are power adder, ie turboed. Sucks! An older NA analog Ferrari is pure sex compared to the new ones. More soul.
