This video legit made me tear up. Such a passionate monologue, accompanied by a timeless car and beautiful melodies. I'd love to own one of these some day.
Although i'm working at tesla and am all in for electric cars for the future, i'm with you on this one. Legends like the 355 - one of my childhood dreams - will become more and more desirable for collectors. And i will most certanly fall down on my knees, tearing up in pure awe when such a car is screaming down the road in 20 years time.
Petrol will be outlawed in the new world order, your car will only be able to go where your overlords allow it to go. Hence the reason for automated everything.
Why not add a sound feature to your cars Elon, directional sound waves in and around the car... attached to a massive subwoofer that can really make the car shake.................................................
I will never forget the first time I saw the F355 in the intro to Golden Eye. at the time it seemed so distant and unobtainable. It was very surreal to spend the afternoon with one and made it to top of my list of Ferrari’s to own one day.
@@CarTalesOfficial there is another great F355 chase scene in the streets of Sam Francisco in the movie "The Rock" with Sean Connery and Nicholas Cage. Ranks up there close with the Bad Boys scene with the Porsche 964 Turbo!
That’s right! It was a Yellow Spider if I remember quickly. Totally forgot about that epic chase through SF. I didn’t get into Bad Boys until my early teens I think. I did like the turbo for sure but as far as Bad Boys cars go, the 550 Maranello is at the top of my list. Another one of my favorite Ferrari’s 👍🏻
I've had a 94 F355 for 16 years. Many other cars have been and gone. There us nothing like it. The noise, feel, open gate shift. Just enough power for the road with no driven aids. You can even switch the ABS brakes off from the console. Glorious
Outstanding camera work and editing. Not much sounds better than an F355. So much to love about these cars. Last of the small Ferrari’s, available with gated shifters, last of the flip up head lights of classic sports cars. Formula 1 sound... beautifully styled.
In case anyone is wondering that is the Bolinas lagoon in the background. I drove this about a month ago. I went from Mill Valley to Bolinas to Santa Rosa. Great roads.
One of the best RUclips videos on the F355. I was there with you. I have tears now. You brought out the best in my favourite dream machine. Sound, scenery, monologue A1.
Was my favorite car as a child. And likely still is. Exhaust note aside, the appearance is timeless. Hard to believe these can be bought for under $100k. Absolutely under-appreciated. Tremendous video!
As a 458 owner, I would say it is fast for public roads but if you keep it more calm with an behaviour on accelerator, it does bring the driving joy of driving on our favourite roads by the coast of lake Baikal, Siberia, Russia. #keepthemstoriescoming
Thank you so much for this amazing story! I have been in love with the F355 Ferrari for longer than I can remember. It truly is as other enthusiasts say..."the last driver's car". I will own one of these...and thoroughly enjoy it...before I die! Thank you again my friend, I truly enjoy your video!
One of the best looking and sounding cars ever made. the perfect combination. black is the perfect color for this car. the lines are even more beautiful in black.
This one is special. Loved the 355 since the first time I saw her. If I had to choose only one, she might be it. Excellent content. Beautiful car, film and audio quality. Thanks.
Loved my Capristo on my 355 spider for 9 years and 10k miles. Reached perfect tune after 3k miles of running in from new. 355 and Capristo are a perfect match.
You should watch Harry's Garage if you haven't already. He takes his fast expensive cars on great European road trips and even drove his Testarossa to the north African desert
Wonderful video! The F355 still is one of my favorite cars. I cant imagine the sound of the capristo exhaust on it. I got a 987 Cayman S with a capristo exhaust and it sounds so good. This most sound unbeleavable
Fellow Fcar owner here, enjoyed the video! Where was this filmed? Beautiful scenery. BTW I mostly share your view on the 458. Almost too fast too enjoy, but hard to pass up on 9k RPM and the rapid shifting. Still the analog Ferrari driving experience is unparalleled, and yes I think the F355 was the best sounding Ferrari ever made. Thanks for sharing!
i think you're absolutly right !cars with more than 500cv drive you more than you drive them on roads. the f355 is absolute plaisure. the best sound that ever had a road car.
Great car, fun time! The 355 was the first Ferrari I found really desirable (I like older ones now too!)- Thank your sharing :) The sound, the line, coloraturas combo, really amazing!
Great video thanks. F355 with a Capristo exhaust sounds more like a Formula 1 car than Formula 1 cars do now! I agree about more modern Ferraris - they are very capable, but you don't get the same experience.
If you don't mind me asking, How did you do the interior shot from the car from minute 2:07 to 02:56 and 06:15 to 7:40 ? Are you holding the camera at chest height or head height? And how do you manage to see so much of the car interior in such a small place? I really loved that take. Thanks! @Car Tales
The f355 was the last of the wedge cars and my favorite ferrari of all time. You can see he also drives the hell out of this car too just like it was meant to be.
I was pooping and my daughter heard the sound of the car and came running into the bathroom to get a better listen!! Her nose suffered, but her ears were delighted!! Lol!
I dream of having one of these exact cars in azzurro california blue. I come from knowledge of classic and late model muscle cars/aftermarket so I’m not too sure what parts are available for euro cars besides the racing stuff. This car is a magnificent piece of work and I’m having a tough choice between this model and a 550 maranello manual
The mid 90's to pre 2010 was a small glorious time for cars
This video legit made me tear up. Such a passionate monologue, accompanied by a timeless car and beautiful melodies. I'd love to own one of these some day.
Cannot agree more. Its a really masterpiece
@Brancovtn65 Absolutly feel the same as you. This video is insane
Same here. Brilliant video. Awesome car and dialogue.
The more electric cars seem to be the futere - the more those real sounding cars will be appreciated
Agreed! I have a feeling the F355 (especially the manuals) will go up in value tremendously over the next few decades

Find one and buy one thats what i eventually did this summer the car is so special.
I hope you'll get one, one day
Your narration, the camera work, the landscape, and of course ur F355… this is truly a MASTERPIECE
My brother has an f355 with this exhaust. It sounds so good but we did a 1000 mile trip in it last year and now I’m deaf 😂
Haha! Starting watching this and was just about to send to you...

Ho-ly hell this thing sounds good, always love a V8 gated manual Ferrari!
Best sounding v8 Ferrari ever produced in my opinion. Even rivals some of their V12s
Any gated Rarri is an awesome thing !!!
@@CarTalesOfficial I agree 100 percent

These videos are very intimate. You see the driver and the machine on their most favorite road becoming one with each.
I had goosebumps throughout the entire video. This is the way car videos should be done. Thank you, you made my day.
Compliments to the driver. The shifting, blipping of throttle, smoothness of shifts. Bravo

same, shhhhhhhhhh lol keep the prices low as long as we can so we can get one =]. I remember when i was 10 years ago they were like 60k for a nice one
Convertibles can be had for under 100k. Hardtops are mostly all over 200 now.
They are a nightmare maintenance wise…. The achilles’ heel, so to speak. I want one still.
@@robhersey1796they were attainable before covid lol. Now it’s 200k+ for any manual berlinetta lol
