    Passed my PRMC today :) Only 27 out of 54 passed it. From what some of the guys who had taken PRMC's before were saying, they have really increased the intensity of the PRMCs. Probably because the Marines are nearing full capacity.

    It's so good to see people getting along on here! I'm 18, I've passed me Maths English and Science test with 100%, I've completed the interview stage and completed my medical. Ive completed a look at life course shown in this video. I just want to say to anyone in The Royal Marines process.. The best of luck!

    In my day there was no prmc. It started with 6 weeks in Deal kicking our arses into shape. We lost half the troop in that time from 54 to 29. Then off to CTCRM for a very tough 34 weeks. At the end there were 5 members of 929 Troop left the rest were juniors and back troopers. I loved every secons of it But was fuc*ing hard :) God bless all who have a go It will change your life forever.

    Hi Hugh ..The 30 mile yomp is the final part of the Commando course so its King Squad and the Green Lid when compleated. 99% will pass, and your oppos will drag you through if need be. Its the most amazing feeling when you finish because you are now a RM job done :)

    @royalmarine1011 for the PRMC you should aim for 60 pressups in 2 minuets, 80 sit ups and 6 pull ups.
    you should also be able to run 1.5 miles in around 10 minuets

Had the most threatening way of making you repeat fuck ups I’ve ever seen…”no, do it again” spoken softly under his breath, through gritted teeth and it got more and more threatening and menacing if you didn’t get any better! Selection wise it begins with a timed psychometric (not too sure how to spell that) exam,math,literacy,basic physics and a logic based section i think...then its a medical followed by a PJFT(three miles on a treadmill done in two parts), THEN it's the PRMC...{that's the order of things as far as i remember isn't it lads?} correct me if i missed anything...

    I did my prmc last week we went down to lymptone and arrived at about half 3. number 1 they dont call yo by your first name like "matt". we went to bed abot 11 woke up had a cold shower, shave and had some scran got changed into combats trainers and rugby tops. We then came out of lympstone did a 30 min warm up witch is killer, ran out 1.5 mile in a sqaud in 12 min 30 then it was best effort back. you have to come in nder 10 30 to pass otherwise you fail the whole course.

  • @crazypikey
    @crazypikey 17 лет назад

    have a shower, scran etc, then gym test 1 starts. a hard warm up, then a bleeb test get over 10.5 and they will pass you, then as many press ups sit ups and pull ups as possible (they stop you at 6 pull ups).

    But a great deal of fitness is required too, a civilian couldn't walk off the street just because he had "the state of mind" to do it, a 3 mile run in 22 minutes is pretty difficult particularly as its after the gym test on the second day of PRMC, im training myself to be able to do it and after 15 minutes at that pace i admit a lot of it is determination to finish - but then im only a beginner with goals.
