The negativity towards this band is uncalled for. They Rock their asses off. He is not "strianing" that is his voice. One solid rock band!
thing is , he has other tones in his voice he's capable of & you can hear some of that here & there through this , not implying anything by that, more wondering how amazing his vocals could get in future if he ever brings more of that out , maybe he already has, I've not gone through all their music yet , let alone any solo vocals that might have been done on the side
@@Marcusjnmc Yes, if you listen to Safari Song you can hear the singer's deeper tones. He really does have an amazing range and I too look forward to more varied vocals in future tracks from this outstanding band.
@@Marcusjnmc He's actually using pretty good technique, in order not to fuck up his voice while doing all this.
I agree I love their raw unfiltered sound! I love their studio stuff but these guys are definitely a fantastic live performance.
I agree Greta Van fleet are Amazing 😉 and Josh is brilliant singer with a powerful voice and yes people should stop giving them hard time because they very talented bunch of young men who want to play the music world not be bullied or be negatively rejected I agree on that one dude I cannot wait to hear new album when does come out I had dream I meet them all they all really nice guys 🙂 shame it was only a dream 😢 but they music is Best I wish them all best luck with new album I am sure it be different but still brilliant at same time it’s nice to look up to new Rock and roll band in this generation as they are huge influencers of mine anyway keep it up Greta Van Fleet we are all behind you the whole way there 👊✌️

@@sasmitroy5480 Exactly. The Back In Black album isn't even turning 40 for another few months, and For Those About To Rock will take another year yet. Guns N' Roses didn't even release Appetite until '87 as well, so 40 is definitely a stretch. It is a great track though. Definitely one of my favorite riffs of the past decade.
And now they're nominated for 4 Grammys. I am so proud of these boys and so happy for them!

They filmed the entire show from multiple angles, and I can't wait to see the whole thing someday. I'd pay dearly for a Blu-ray of this show.... I sincerely hope they release the entire show very soon!

God I hope so, I would buy a case. Best live performances I can find online are from this show. Cameras or not I stand by this being THE best concert I've been to. Period.

Everything on this video is perfect, guitar tone, Josh's voice, drums are tight, bass is mixed nicely. Best live performance of it IMO
Greta van fleet brings hope and happiness to my broken world. And is one of the few things keeping me from ending it all. I hope to soon be like them in a couple of years.

Why do the critics diss on this? They write sing and play their own instrument and rock. It's what everyone has been longing for these many years.
I have been playing in local bands since 1963 and these guys are the real deal. They’re not trying to copy Led Zeppelin but they are the heir apparent to this type of sound. Treat them with respect as they are the younger nephews of Robert Plant and Jimmy Page and they’re carrying the torch forward with their head held high. Good job gentlemen.

All the attention goes to the front of the band i.e. the Guitarist and the Singer but so much is owed to the rythem section which gets absolutely no praise or recognition whatsoever the Bass Player and the Drummer these two guys are immense

People just love to hate on pure raw talent like this. They may mimic Zeppelin but someone is always copying a band, trend etc...
To say these guys are fucking terrific, amazing, incredible, spot on, authentically authentic, perform perfectly live, and have talent WOULD BE AN UNDERSTATEMENT!! We need this NOT ONLY in the rocknroll world, but in the regular music world. Authenticity, real instruments, the whole peaceful deal! I’m here for it!!!!
