I am a 64 year old woman and find it both comforting and wildly familiar at the same time! Awesomeness
These guys are natural entertainers. No hesitation, no stage fright, only pure raw talent. They own the stage!
You can’t take nothing away from these guys they jam
I'm 65 and I also loved Led zeppelin and these young men brothers and friend. For growing up together. From a garage band to stardom. It's crazy but ya gotta love um. I think they are Amazing simply amazing 😮 gotta love them.❤ Rock and roll is here to stay.😊
There will be those who like and those who don't. Many times it's just comes down to personal preference. I like their sound and think they are really, really good! In our current day of otherwise over hyped mainstream garbage I find this band a much needed breath of fresh air!
As a 50 yr old black man, I never thought I'd find another band like THIS. I just now stumbled into these guys, and I feel like I've been listening to them my whole life. This band has truly blown me away.
Yeah... I'm 65 , these guys make great Rock & Roll 👍💯
As a 64 year old white woman...ditto. They just found me too, and I feel the same way. 😮
Tapping in as 61 year old black woman. I love them. I’m fascinated with all of their talents, but I love love love watching Jake insanely and nicely play his guitars. That kid is so talented. Sam is killer on the Bass guitar and keyboard. Josh’s ability to scream cohesively with just their sounds without words, and Danny’s drum style is amazing. They bring it together and they respect each other. If Josh gets tired, Jake just does his guitar solos and let’s Josh just vibe with the audience. When he’s rested his voice a bit, they start it all over again. They are fantastically talented. I started listening to them a few months ago. I’m a fan. I can’t compare them to anyone. Because although I love all good music, no other band has ever moved me like them. Shinedown had a half dozen songs that I fell in love with, but I repeat Greta Van Fleets songs all the time. 😊😎☺️.
As a 57 yr old Hard Rocker gal I LOVE them! TALENT something lacking in most bands now!
Mikey - doesn't matter if you are black, white, yellow or purple with pink spots - if you like it, then you like it. They certainly do have a great retro sound which is most welcome. Anything to blast away the constant sound of Ed Sheeran (not that I dislike him but he is everywhere).
I'm 64. I've seen all the great bands including Zeppelin.I feel like I've gone back in time to the greatest years of music with this band. These guys are the real deal. They are old souls. They are GVF.
Well done
Well you haven't seen this......... The New Breed....... Young, Sweet and innocent and Holy Shit !!!! ruclips.net/video/bgAxpEpEcno/видео.html ruclips.net/video/LS2UDKP-hrc/видео.html
Haters can hate, these guys are keeping rock music alive. I’m glad they sound like led zeppelin,I love led zeppelin and I love these guys. Keep on killing it ! Beats anything being put out now days they call pop music.
It’s not to often I like a song the first time I hear it. This is the first time I’ve heard this song and dam what a banger. Ive also only heard 4 songs from this band and they have all been dam good.
As a musician, I can honestly say these guys are amazing. I can see why Robert Plant loves them!
Robert plant doesn't love them he likes them and when GVF did a interview they said they're the vocals were influenced by Aerosmith not led Zeppelin LOL
They played Zeppelin songs when the band first started!!!
I think the vocals are influenced by many. Their parents played '70s rock when they were kids. I hear Geddy Lee too. Funny Plant hears Stephen Tyler, but I kind of do too, now that you've said that.@@ChadReno-cg6hv
Слишком долгий проигрыш, ни у Цеппелинов ни у Дип перпл таких не было, и в этом их преимущество. Хорошая группа ,но такие долгие проигрыши немного портят впечатление.
@@ChadReno-cg6hvthey never said that
The bass, the bass line, the bass player
Daniel Kiszka
fuck i meant Samuel Kiszka
I am 63yrs old saw these guys live last year in Glasgow! Amazing talents .nothing like Ledzep …… so much better in my option,
I am 65 years old and these boys aren't incredible. They bring sapling back all the way and you're not a knock off
The more you listen to them ,the more they have their own sound . I'm 66 and Led Zeppelin was one of my favorites. This band is amazing . Each one of them is so talented.
I'm sixty-four
Portal of about Greta is that they are what Zeppelin was in their younger days and they are what we all wanted to be when we were trying play Zeppelin and could not figure out you're cheating. So God bless these kids for keeping the dream alive
@@davidhare897I wanted to play like Randy Rhodes!😂😂
First of all Robert and John Bonham were 20 years old when they Joined with Jimmy n John Paul. Jimmy and JPJ WERE 24 When they put out ZEP 1. Their first 4 albums are the best any Rocker has ever made. That raw talent can not be duplicated. They is no done that can even come close to the MIGHTY ZEPPELIN ZEPPELINZ
They will never be ZEP but they could be QUEEN cover band
the way josh sounds almost exactly like the studio recording is insane
especially at the “satan plays his flute for him the sound it burns his ears”
I heard or read he absolutely refuses to use autotune, which made me love him more. I refuse to listen to a band that can't reproduce their sound live.
They are the same, I lined them up that must mean they used this vocal track on the studio version
63 years in. I felt this way with Zep and now GVF. Don't care what you say, these guys freaking groove. Pure enjoyment listening to them.
Josh's ability to improvise while performing live is both bizarre and awesome.
I'm 52 and love these kids. Love the feathers and outfits too. Spending my Saturday late night watching this concert.
A fresh look at classic sounding rock. !!! Real talent. !!! I don’t care who bash them !!! It’s real music !!!
No one is talking about how tight of a bassist Sammy is! He bounces and talks with that thing!
Yes he is very good at it
Well Danny is to he drums and guitar
@A smile on my face but a Demon inside and live he's most catching, there's definitely something about him.
I'm 71 and Zepplin was high school for me and I saw them once (they didn't sound that great) The first time I heard GVF I didn't have a clue who they were but I thought "AWESOME! A Zepplin knock off". When I found out they were so young it made me smile :) I wish my grandkids played music like this. Hell, I wish they played any kind of music at all. Peace
Thank God. I didn't think it was possible to get any good music nowadays but a miracle has been done. It's so refreshing. For anyone who criticizes them for copying I guarantee your favorite artist copied someone.
Like every blues player/singer ...All the english bands were heavily influenced in the late 60's and early 70's by the blues. And I thank them for it. All sound is built on sounds before it. I don't know why people see this as a bad thing.
0:00 to 26:35 is pure perfection
Most musicians will "get" what's happening here. The birth of an act that can actually play. This is magic. We saw so much of this in the 60s, 70s, and 90s..... and here it is happening again. Thank God!
AMEN!
Yes!
I'm glad you skipped over the 80s there lol
@@willslaughterguitar hey we had SRV in the 80's, can't leave him out of that decade!
I love everyone of those boys!
props to danny and sammy because danny didn’t get a break the whole time, and as a bassist this song is NASTY difficult
If you think I'm gonna sit here for half an hour to watch this then you're damn right
Amen sister ❣️
Agreed lol
Que bella eres! y sí, aquí estamos todos sentados la media hora del vídeo!
Veronica Rodriguez de donde eres? Yo de Lima. Genial que te guste GVF, espero con ansias poder verlos en vivo pronto!!
Say it louder sister
You can tell this is raw jamming, Jake showing Sam the chords hes playing, sam getting closer to him to get a better look, constantly looking at each other, perfect chemistry.
Kilo7 like John Paul Jones & Bonham
Sounds a lot like the actual song but they do improvise a lot live and you're right, you can tell when they are. Just saw them in LA at the Greek Theater. Fucking amazing 🙏
Bingo
It's so impressive when the bass player forgets the chords and has to look at the guitarist's hands. wtf
@@richsackett3423you seem to not know what raw jamming is
People want to knock them for a "Led Zeppelin wannabe" band are ignoring the fact that these KIDS have achieved a perfect, truly authentic 70s sound in the age of boring, rubber stamped garbage. Imagine how much better they'll get with age.
Oh, the sound is great, but you can't deny the very Zeppelin sound... its like they are reborn... and I love it.
Yes Indeed! 🌓💖
They’re NOT trying to Copy Zeppelin. I don’t think that they should take it as a criticism, gosh if you can sound like Josh does without trying, more power to you. Great musicians, great sound.
I was in high school in the 70s ....saw alot of bands and zepplin as well .....1st time i heard these kids i was impressed .... Great chops and great music !!
I agree. GvF is boring rubber-stamped garbage. It's 70s paint-by-numbers formulaic BS.
This sound is exactly what we’ve been missing and needed in life. I wish I’d learned about this awesome band sooner. Kick ass sound!
MY GOD!!!!................That was one of the most unbelieveable jam sessions I've ever heard!!!!!!!!!
I'll be 50 soon but I feel so excited ....2018 what a year !!Queen music everywhere, Greta van Fleet rising stars.....Rock N Roll is here to stay.
They fill an empty void, left by several R&R groups now gone.
Love live Rock & Roll
3 minutes of Lover Leaver then 17 minutes of jamming with various other riffs from songs finding their way into it... Love this band so much :D
As a pink floyd lover, seeing a band extend a short song to the depths of their creativity for 26 minutes might make this my favorite "song" by them
Hahahaha happening the same to me... Like the BBC 15-minute-long version of Fat Old Sun!
And their thought process to do was genius
They go into a different song tho...like twice...
As someone born in 61...I love, love love long sings. One of the reasons I love TOOL, and yes is great at it. I really like when a band just jams. Once I saw Los Lonely Boys open for Willie Nelson. During one song, Los Lonely boys joined Willie during his set. It turned into a long guitar jam/battle between Nelson and his sons and Los Lonely boys. It was epic and amazing and I'll never forget it. Pink Floyd was good at it, weren't they? I have only seen Roger Waters, but that was pretty great.
Heck yeah. I’m a fellow Floydian.
Im 51 years old and I haven't heard any one play music like this since the 70s and I thought good old fashioned rock and roll was gone I guess i was wrong. I want to go to a concert now.
His voice is just YES.
I will be fifty-three years old this year, and my son introduced me to this band. I have one word to describe Greta Van Fleet: LEGENDARY..... Their sound is utterly gorgeous.
I don't care if they sound like Zep. They are real Rock and Roll. These kids are awesome and will get even better.
Right? All these people bitch and wish for 70's rock to make a comeback . Then immediately shit on any band that tries cause they sound too much like "insert band xyz".
Agree
Yeah, as if sounding like Zep is a bad thing.
Good Band! Gives me hope for the future of Rock Music.
We’re lucky to have Greta van Fleet. Period.

I’ve been a metal fan for 45 years and I can tell you this song takes me right back the glorious rock years of the 70’s
I'm 65 and I'm an old rocker, I playing guitar as hobby, one of my prefered bands was Led Zeppelin and I've begun to listen you cause in the first time you remember me them, but now I can say that you are a very complete band with awesome sound.
hell yeah man 26 in a half minutes of pure rock
That bass player kicks ass
He's one of the brothers. I think the lead singer and lead guitar are twins and the bad ass bass thumper is their older brother, but if you ask me, I believe they look like triplets.
Roxanne Moser Josh and Jake (The Lead Singer/Lead Guitarist) are twins and are 22, and Sammy (The Bass Player) is 19☺️
I think so too, he and the drummer are underrated while the singer and guitarist get all the attention. Which I don’t mind at all. I love the whole band.
@@king_supreme1102 The secret is that the bassist is the root of all the sound, the drummer is the core of all the energy, the guitar is for beauty and the vocals is for permanent orgasm.
GVF have achieved what some adults have never been able to do. They started young just think what they are going to achieve when they are considered adults.
Es un placer escuchar nuevamente una banda de rock en vivo
Bien ahí muchachos!!!
IT'S A MIRACLE IN THE YEAR 2018 A BUNCH OF KIDS PLAYIN' REAL ROCK .... LED ZEPPELIN are Led Zeppelin , and this are GRETA VAN FLEET playin' like Greta Van Fleet..... Keep on rockin'
I've been listening to rock for 65 years. Lets just enjoy a young band playing great rock instead of the junk most are playing now'
For me this sounds like modern Zeppelin / Heep / Joplin genre. But this sounds amazing...this is what world needs now, good ol rock'n'roll
They are awesome
Rock on
I just wish I can turn it loooooooder
I'm 61 years old and I LOVE THESE KIDS!! Not only do they remind me of ZEP but, I hear Jake remind me in a way of some Bonamassa style. Jake's SG is awesome. This video made my day!

8:25 so that was "Built by Nations" all along. I'm so happy they used this riff for a hole song, it deserves.
Im 59 ( nearly )... and ive never got emotional over a rock compilation .. I have now ... I can die knowing ( hopefully not that soon ) proper .. and I MEAN proper rock is safe in these guys hands ... CREAM .. is so predominately involved in this track .. and I BLOODY LOVE IT ...

Rock has never been proper. Hahaha
A M E N BROTHER!!!
Omg i thought i was the only one!. These guys give me chills!! They make me wanna rock out all night 🎸
This is what a real hard rock band does: It jams, makes mistakes, which is no problem, laughs at everything, especially ignorant critics, works yet plays, lives on stage for the thrill of it, not trying to impress anyone, just being themselves, surprises themselves and everyone else, too. It's a fat, juicy slice of real life with all the emotion, tragicomedy, and energy. And they're having the time of their lives, inviting us to join them in their worshipful awe of mysterious, undependable existence. Rock on, bros and sisters.
They're often great, but always human, and it's amazing, if you understand what and who they are: fallible human beings having a good time using some loud instruments and one loud voice cheerfully shouting at the universe.
They may be around forever, or they may spin out of this orbit they've found and go on to god knows what: better times, hard luck, but for now they're rocking our lame asses. They make it look so easy. I guess it takes a million of us losers in order for the universal DNA casino to come up a winner like Greta Van Fleet. And, sadly, many people will never get it. It's just not in their stars.
Love your comment.
You just exposed the heart and soul
Of fucking jamming.
Oh my gosh. PERFECT comment. EXACTLY, spot on. you get it. LOVE IT so much. bravo
Just the best band i see in the XXI century
Ik viel na drie zinnen al in slaap. Wat een saai verhaal.
Love this mate.couldnt have put it better.love gfv and being part of the army and their journey.makes me young again
For me, when people say where has all the good music gone, these guys are it. they have that heavy rock & roll sound i miss so much. like so many comments below; they sound like Zep, but they are not Zep, they are GVF!
Okay. Im fricking 60. I was in a total dive bar and this was playing loud. I was like wtf is this song, I need to know. I Shazamed it and this came back. Super cool new music..and long long overdue. We may of just been saved ! Thanks guys. Best of luck in a brutal industry!!!! We totally need this.
The crowd so close to the stage brings that 60s and 70s feeling!
Did we just have a bass solo? WE JUST HAD A BASS SOLO!
Entwistle's school
Jawnboi and it was badass too!
So refreshing. And I'm a six-stringer. I can't even play the big axe. Love it.
A rare thing indeed ... I even had too visit the doctor too see if there was something amiss with my ears .. reminds me of our dear departed jack Bruce ...
tears to my eyes, they are ALL AWESOME
Continue your music, stay united, keep moving forward, always be healthy.
Forty long years I have waited for a band like this.
God, clearly fed up of sending down pop stars organised a supernova and from the ancient neon ashes he created these guys.
😄well said!
26 minutes of time well spent

literally couldn’t believe this was actually live until he said “believer” bc it sounds EXACTLY like the recording like this performance is unbelievable
Same omf these guys are literally the best
I don't understand 2 things. First, why this band is so underrated and hated? They are so amazing I cant stop listening to their music.
Second, why anyone would hate them because they sound like Led Zeppelin? Personally I love that, both bands are just soo gooood.. I hope they will come to Europe some time, maybe Poland as well..
in order to recognize art in their music you need above average intelligence in some way. Statistically, majority of people have bellow average intelligence. do the math.
@booshka booshka I wouldn't connect this fact to the level of intelligence. In my opinion, it's rather the fact that there is so much hate in the world and lots of people are just envy and blind because of that, so they wish all the worst for others.. but personally, I like the idea that we are above average level of intelligence, it means I have at least a few grey cells in my brain 😄
@@wpmichelsky well that hate and envy comes from a place of ignorance among other things.. the more intelligent you are - the better you understand others - the less you hate
Maybe it's because They sing about Peace & Love and togetherness. If you hate yourself you'll surely hate others.
I think their youth and good looks combined with talent play a role. People are miserable and don’t want to be reminded of their mediocrity
They are very tight and they're only 21! I've seen bands that have been playing for 20 years that don't sound this tight.
They took a 3:34 studio song and stretched it to 26:34, Improvising like Deep Purple and Zep in the 70's. I have been waiting 30 years for this!
This is the full version being 6:02 minutes long actually but yeah
Scott Cranidge also like Allman Brothers, and Jimi. lol
I've watched the GVF video more times then any other performance they have done......did I die and go to rock n roll heaven?
Don't get me wrong, I'm big fan of their studio work, it was this video that let me give them a second chance. In the future they'll need to pull away from the Zep cloning or they wont have legs. Even Zep itself pulled itself away from the Small Faces, Jeff Beck Group sound of their debut with II. Mark I Deep Purple was Neo classical ala Vanilla Fudge before they changed direction with 1970's In Rock. They need a good producer who can catch them with their writing get a little too on the nose. Rival Son have managed to do this, I hope GVF will too.
Me too!
These good young men have shown what being an artist is and its not hollywood rubber stamp shove it down the publics throat music. These guys are a real bad asssss and just because the 70s are gone dont mean its out of style.
Holy Moly, I haven't heard a jam session like this for quite some time. These guys are awesome! So far ahead of this current generation of bands who label themselves as "rockers" . It's about time a band brought back the energy and power to rock like Zeppelin. I could listen all day long and never hear enough!
Not dissing this jam but check out echo of a rose - goose the met. It’s posted on RUclips
These dudes are good far beyond their years
@Juno Donat im not prepared to argue with that so ill just tip my cap
No i basically conceded that I cant argue it, because you swayed me to your side of the arguement. At first I was like, thede guys are so good to be so young and i just wanna rest on that and enjoy them. But at times, like when I see the guitar player leaning back like he does, im like, Oh come on guys at least hide it lol
So yeah im saying i agree with you, and others, now more than ever
Juno Donat Who the fuck cares if they sound like another band? Led Zeppelin is gone, it’s time for another band to take their spot. For me its a lot better that they sound like Zep because they’re the only ones doin it and getting recognition. Robert Plant approved them so I don’t don’t what you’re whining about.
I love how they jam out for a solid 20+ minutes, thats really good for future music festivals and amphitheater shows
Everyone says they sound like zeppelin but I hear so many different influences as well as their own sound. They are truly amazing artists. Their souls were built for this ❤️🔥
for parts they remind me (specially Josh) Mr. "Mojo" Morrison and the Doors. What the hell does it matter who they sound like, they are so good 🙂
This isn't a concert, this is an experience. WOW!! What a ride!!!
Wtf did I just see?? These guys tapped into a time machine when rock was great!!
They're like throwing in bits and pieces of their other songs. I heard Brave New World, Highway Tune, even some lyrics from Flower Power. That's sick!
What ever still saund good
That happens when your improvise. If you listen to early Page, you can hear his latter songs emerging in his improvs.
I hear shades of Humble Pie's "I Don't Need No Doctor" the way they get quiet. Greta is betta' due to touring.
They go into "Rollin and Tumblin" as well
I have just heard of these guys and cant stop listening to their Zep sound. I am 72 and find these guys brilliant, a real inspiration.
STILL one of my fav videos ever
I think that bass solo wasn’t planned he was in the moment and the band knew it and went with it , fantastic
As a bass player I can only agree with you 😉
@Norm De Plume starts after 3:33
Bass players dream 😂
Very few bands bring me to tears that they are so fucking unbelievably great !! I am 76 !
Samd here, im a 64 yr young classic rocker and for the first time in 30 yrs i actually got the chills again listening to rock music! Love greta!
Chills, tears, and a stupid ass grin. I think we should start an old man fan club.
@Carol Harris but, that is half their fan base right now, and lucky for them the old men can afford $85+ a ticket for themselves and their grandchildren, which are the other half. I know there's more, but you see what I'm getting at. It's fabulous they put themselves in a place that appeals to so many people. I wish them the absolute best. Bands like them and All Them Witches out of Nashville (who look pretty young) give me good feelings about the future of music. #🎶👍😁🎵
Wtf, niceness
66 here. Been waiting 20 years for a R-O-C-K band............ awesome.
They're like Led Zeppelin and Rush combined with the passion of Freddie Mercury. Awesome!
and janis joplin..the who...pink floid
Absolutely, I sometimes see and hear a little Ronnie James Dio in the singer. Mostly Led Zeppelin and Rush. Maybe there is hope for the future. Now if more kids would grow up to emulate the best sounds of two decades.
@@davidkactus9983 Oh yeah - White Boy Blues! A whole lot of The Who in there.
At last!! Another sees Rush, also the little to and fro with voice and guitar reminded me of Ritchie Blackmore and Ian Gillan moment in "71 ❤❤❤

Bad Ass!!! Hasn't been a new band like this in decades. Thank the rock gods for Great Van Fleet!!!
The Cult had a chance
Unbelievable! How can a band of young guys play oldschool rock so intense and ambitious? They sound as if they were 30+ years on stage.Wow. They have a great future ahead of them.
This is not just rock, it is also blues, psychedelia and jazz all rolled into one, so eclectic - just great.
Sorry, I forgot to mention the world music influences in Josh’s vocals. Mid-oriental style.
To anyone interested, I recommend checking out the Swedish singer Jenny Wilson, “The Future”, whose innovative style has also been inspired by middle eastern music.
A few people have come back and pointed out that 8:24 is actually a tease for what would become Built By Nations but the absolute shocked look on my face when I first heard Built By Nations for the first time and instantly realized it was from this video because I've watched it so many times was incredible because I couldn't believe they made a whole song out of it
The first time I heard that riff from Built by Nations I thought it was a Led Zep ripoff because I'd heard it so many times, but couldn't figure out where. Turns out it was from this video because I used to watch it a couple of times a week.

I noticed that after the Battle at Gardens gate came out. Amazing
As the great AC/DC sang "Rock 'n' roll ain't gonna die", GVF carry the torch in this auto-tune, commercial music era. Much love from Nepal
So I'm watching them on SNL tonight and end up here. I've honestly not seen anything like the charisma and stage presence this band has in 30 years.
You should see them live! They are unbelievably amazing.
Mark B. Blue - You & me both. They make me so damn happy.
SNL was where I first saw them too. I didn't think of Led Zeppelin though, Blind Melon came to mind due to the cleaner sounding guitar and his high voice.
I thought they bareky had charisma or stage presence. Specially compared to bands like ween or mr bungle (mike patton is probably one of the greatest frontmen of any band) or even king gizzard
This band is my drug.
Best band In this world

I'd say this is not a waste, but an enrichment of your time! Rock on!
26 minutes of living on a higher plane
This band is going to be huge. Not only because of the lead singer’s voice, but the chemistry between the entire group. The guitar balance is amazing and the drumming is out of this world.
they are copy cats idiots!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Three are brothers.
They are amazing!!! They are real, and all musicians copy and learn and grow from it. Those who worry who is copying who should post their own purely original music. Very few have one iota of the talent this takes. Plant was a genius of his time but he can no longer perform like this. For someone young, fresh, full of energy, and years to grow to come along and resurrect the torch of real music, carry it forward to the future is a dam miracle. A voice like this is not a copy, it’s a fricken gift to be used. Long Live Rock!!!!

I grew up in the '70s and this is the best band since then....absolutely amazing!
They're the evolution of those 70's guys.
Totally obsessed with these little poppets.... Wish they were my spawn... ha ha... Gifted beautiful musicians filling a space that needed to be filled.
Holy smokes a rock and roll band that sounds like a rock and roll band .
. . . sounds like *Led Zeppelin*. Led Zeppelin, but with concerts where they aren't strung out on drugs, and a singer that doesn't have vocal nodes due to neglect. I think they actually do live led Zeppelin better than Led Zeppelin ever did, especially after the Led Zeppelin Australian tour.
@@AM-xk3or They're still brand new. Led Zeppelin when they'd only been playing regularly for a year or so like these guys have could blow them out of the water. Also none of them besides the singer are even close to the talent the original Led Zeppelin had, and even the singer is just a good Robert Plant impersonator.
True. Jimmy Page is unreached.
@@TuxmanXP Lol... ZEP was a behemoth of a band, that reached the highest of Rock & Roll, legendary status! Huge Zep fan!!! Page was a riff master! Unfortunately ZEP was an incredible studio band! Also Unfortunately, Page was one of the sloppiest live guitar players ever!
William Filipovich but that’s just pages playing. He play’s like that on purpose
thumbs up for whoever listened to it all the way through
i made it, just!
Wait why wouldn't I? I listen on regular basis live versions of Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin songs and they're mostly about this long 😂
Going for the second spin now!
I want this as my ring tone, all 26 minutes and 35 seconds.
Ummmmm, who WOULDN'T listen to the whole thing lol
8:23 Built by Nations was referenced here before it was released. Nice touch, GVF.
and nice transition!
Yep
I think this was also before they had released Brave New World on AotPA. They've had a lot of their songs in play for some time. Heat Above goes WAYYY back.
If anyone says that rock is dead I will gladly slap them upside the face with this lifechanging, face melting, universe transcending hell of a video. Greta Van Fleet rocks
16:53 is the reason these guys are gonna be huge in the future, just listen to Jakey modifying his own freakin’ riff and the look that Danny gives him and then syncing his drumming with the riff vibe. Outrageous !!!!
This aged well ;) told ya
i used to feel bad cause im too young to see Zep live, but nowadays it feels good to know that we are able to go and see a band like Greta Van Fleet live. This music is greatness
honey, this is not led zeppelin, they r a really bad poser group w/ a God-awful singer. check out the real thang-led zep 2 on here. my personal fav is that album. this is a rip-off, ok.
Christy Spencer amen!
I don’t get why people are so butt hurt... we love GvF, you can clearly hear so many influences and singing like that requires so much practice and technique.... people can say what they want, if you don’t like then don’t listen, in the meantime we will enjoy an amazing 26 minute mash up of improvisation, skill, bunch of good snippets of songs (which is really hard to make sure you can smoothly insert it in something like this like all the members gotta really be in sync)... this is just 26 minutes of pure gold... rock on!
@@SgtJuls they cant move on bro they are the one who are destroying rock music because of their sht mentality its 2019 and this band should've get what they deserve for bringing classic rock back into the stage
@@TheRacboys Thats why you come to watch their videos right, because you hate them?
Never thought they would tease a riff from one of their newest songs at 8:22
built by nations!
Kinda like when Zeppelin teased Achilles Last Stand in the 1973 live of Dazed and Confused
These guys are the real deal. Geez, they're so good. I love LZ , but I have not heard one song I didn't like from GVF, not once and that's rare for me. Even this long jam is incredible.
JUST REMEMBER GUYS... They are freaking early 20s..... And this... What more when they truly matured. Damn.
The purest and most raw form of rock, just guitars, drums and vocals. Can't wait for the music from them in the future
As a Led Zeppelin fan, I had to do a double take when I heard this guy to make sure I wasn't hearing Robert Plant or was hearing some unreleased and undiscovered tracks. These guys are truly remarkable. This is rock and roll at its finest.
World's finest tribute band, without doubt.
Yes I have seen them live three times in the last four years my favorite band they truly rock !
Me too!! It stopped me dead in my tracks one night on the way to work!!
My first impression "Is this kid related to Robert Plant?"
A complete band. Magic and yes they bring me back to the chemistry Zeppelin had, and you know what? That's a good thing!
