Same. A friend of my husband and me introduced me to their music last Aug. Their music helped me make it through my darkest days...a few weeks after finding GVF my Love passed away. Their music literally saved me.
I was literally thinking about how I am not excited for that day when he ends up kinda like Axel Rose where he used to be able to hit all those high notes until it became so damaging to his vocal chords that you can pretty much hear it in his voice now..Hope that doesn't happen with Josh which if he is using his vocal chords in the right way then it wouldn't sound too bad like Axels but I can't promise. I'm not an expert but that's just my observation
@@CarlosLiberated that's true. He seems to know his voice so well to know what works and what doesn't, I mean you don't see him jumping around or running which is great to me personally. Hands down one of the best live act I've ever seen, and I've been around for a long time. They have all mastered their instruments. Oh, no need for any additional props for these guys because they sound as good live as on their albums. Have kept the sound of classic rock pure

This is what Zeppelin was reaching for! Greta Van Fleet caught it, and play it back live with all their hearts and souls, for every show!
GVF blasted it the airwaves not that long ago at such a young age, they couldn't get to it until one graduated highschool. They were fantastic from the start and just keep getting better. Still so young! I can't get enough of them.

Even the fact that he's playing the exact same parts over and over again like 20 times? Like dude, change it up and play a melody - Page did.
@@mdav30 I agree, Every great guitarist do except for Alex Lifeson
This video of Greta Van Fleet performing live really cheered me up too as having bad day and their music always cheers me up thank you Greta Van Fleet 🙂✌️🌎
Same. A friend of my husband and me introduced me to their music last Aug. Their music helped me make it through my darkest days...a few weeks after finding GVF my Love passed away. Their music literally saved me.
I really hope his voice holds out for a long time and many more albums/tours.
I'd go see them now before it starts to go
I was literally thinking about how I am not excited for that day when he ends up kinda like Axel Rose where he used to be able to hit all those high notes until it became so damaging to his vocal chords that you can pretty much hear it in his voice now..Hope that doesn't happen with Josh which if he is using his vocal chords in the right way then it wouldn't sound too bad like Axels but I can't promise. I'm not an expert but that's just my observation
me tooo he isn’t in my area on this tour and got to see them live!
For what it’s worth, and I’m no expert, but it doesn’t seem like he carries a lot of tension in his neck/throat. That’s typically a good sign.
@@CarlosLiberated that's true. He seems to know his voice so well to know what works and what doesn't, I mean you don't see him jumping around or running which is great to me personally. It really helps maintain the vocals to reach the notes and especially where his vocals are you reallyyyy especially need to. The thing is we don't know how often he smokes cause I know he did that in that one video. Maybe would keep that to a minimum to low cause that for certain will affect both lungs and vocals
That guitar solo was absolutely amazing in weight of dreams - crazy talented
Hi I recommend a song & video called 'Looking Into The Mirror' By Robert Nix
I mean he was just playing standard blues scales...
Yeah but most people these days don’t listen to Blues or Jazz nor know what it is and those are the two genres that all of our music today comes from. Even rap music. All of our music today are just sub-genres off of Blues and Jazz
Hi I recommend a song called 'Looking Into The Mirror' By Robert Nix
@@agshifty85 doesn’t mean it isn’t good. Music doesn’t have to be the most technically perfect and complicated to be good. People like you just search for strange ways to discredit them.
These guys are old enough to be my children. Their music brings me back to the days of seeing Led Zeppelin on stage for the first time…..😍😛
I am 70 years old. Never listened to GVF before. I am a music lover and stereo nut. Lover of many genre but love is always back to late 60s and early 70s classic sounds. Great stuff out there today but nothin Classic has not been reproduced successfully again, I stand corrected now. Perfection is GVF, thank you.
God bless you ❤️
I'm with You friend live on more to come patience with love we must attain
Perfection!? I'm 60...this band is a straight up Zep rip off. Plant sang, Josh screeches, and has zero stage presence. I wanted to like these guys and loved that highway tune they did but since then I've come to realize they are a one trick pony. Not only that whoever is dressing Josh must be playing a joke, I mean seriously the guy looks like an idiot.
I'm 72yrs grew up on zeppelin, cream, the who it is time to pass the button to a new generation Greta van fleet is a group that should be nourcherd they have the potential to be great.
This song is top of my list to see live before I die. 🖤
It’s incredible
Highly recommend seeing this band live. Hope for Rock 'n Roll. Love their latest album as well. They are excellent put on a great live show. Reminds me of the great shows of the '70's
Hands down one of the best live act I've ever seen, and I've been around for a long time. They have all mastered their instruments. Oh, no need for any additional props for these guys because they sound as good live as on their albums. Have kept the sound of classic rock pure
Without GVF these youngsters would not know how much talent they missed out on from 60's, 70's and 80's. I am glad I grew up when I did.. When 6 or 7 hour rock events when on and no one changed clothes. They just performed dripping in sweat!!! 😊😊
I am experiencing a band and singer/musician that comes around once in a generation. Maybe once in a lifetime. I'm 53 and I feel like I fell backwards down the rabbit hole of time. This is what Zeppelin was reaching for! Greta Van Fleet caught it, and play it back live with all their hearts and souls, for every show!
Me too! I’m 71…
This band has the answers to the universe 🔥🔥🔥
GVF blasted it the airwaves not that long ago at such a young age, they couldn't get to it until one graduated highschool. They were fantastic from the start and just keep getting better. Still so young! I can't get enough of them.
Damn Josh! And Jake! And Danny. I mean every one of these guys just left it there on the stage. Just damn! So friggin good!
I have been listening to this band a lot lately. I am really starting to like them. Probably one of the best rock bands to come out in the last 10 years. And the lead vocalist (Josh) will probably go down in history as one of the best ever.
Without a doubt the very best new hard rock band today, I can't even think of another band that is even close!
They are the best rock band in the world, together with The Lemon Twigs who are more on the glam, power pop movement
Freaking Awesome I’m 58 years old and I love this band they are bringing back the greatest music EVER The 70”s very talented young men and the lyrics to ever song is a Masterpiece and the lead singers voice is so powerful 👍
Give these guys credit for doing what they do, and keeping Rock and Roll Alive. I hope they have a long and successful career in music! Keep on Rockin'!
The nod to the black keys - I got mine in highway tune… chefs kiss
Best modern Rock band ever
Great music can evoke so many emotions and feelings. Like the hair on my arms that sticks up when I hear this. These guys are otherworldly. You can’t put into words, but please keep making music 😊
Omg I'm so late to these guys but finding everything I can w the music...their music does my rap and pop oversaturated soul so much good...im praying rock restablishes and brings back GREAT vocalists and music.
Danny workin' the "tail feathers" off......SMOKIN!!!!❤❤❤
Just saw them tonight here in Charlottesville, Va and I am truly happy to know that rock is in safe hands. They literally blew the place off the foundation
Saw them that night as well! Was a great concert
Wow, really? That must of been a costly repair.
omg!! this brings me to tears ... Josh's vocals before guitar solo ..insane!!!! so intense it hits me so hard...the power in the drums ...guitar....voice...my favourite live performance of Weight of Dreams!!🤟🤩💖💥
Finally an amazing band from and for my generation
Damn that drummer, do t get me wrong that guitar solo is sick but that drummer to keep that beat and making it flow , thats not an easy thing to do.
Neil peart came alive
Jake....... you are my favorite guitar God soon to be legend... and I knew it from the first time I heard yall back in 2017. Such beautiful memories 💖 thankyou and your beautiful souls you all are on an extraordinary wavelength it's so beautiful to see I can taste it
Damn, they are phenomenal. I can’t hardly wait to see them live.
Me2
I heard them perform The Weight of Dreams from the back of the crowd and I thought the incredible guitar solo would never end. Together with the dragging base riff it was great!. Have been a fan since.
Man I hate I missed out on this band as long as I have. Just discovered them for myself a couple days ago. Anyone who loves them can certainly understand my dismay. Making up for lost time now.
Did the same thing with Blackberry Smoke a couple years ago. 🤯
triumph and yes mixed who you kidding .. they found a sweet spot with the tone and rhythm thats why people are mesmerized by the sound
Say what one will, but these guys are truly an AMAZING BAND.❤
Always good to find new music to listen to, I’m stuck from old rock, metal, sub pop, and a few others so I’m personally happy to see it
Lucky to live in this world with this band in it.. I always want to live in the 70s.. Oh well looks like im in it already.
Bobby Plant gave his approval years ago…that was all I needed…saw them in Peoria, Il like 7 years ago at a 500 capacity venue…they were back in town last week and sold out the Civic Center
Love them so much, thank you guys to be who you are and make such à great rock and rock !
Looking forward to seeing them in Madrid on December 4th. I love them. I thank God for having such a great band in these times where music has tumbled down and down. There's still hope.
Amazing band. Amazing guittars, drums and special vocal.
Besides the great music, the skilled cameraman scanning down the front row by stage & wow! Every age group represented & rocking out together having their best time! That speaks volumes 💫 Thank you GVF for bringing all ages together & giving them a rocking time🔥🌟
What a gig! So much energy. Josh,s vocal insane. Jake,s playing phenomenal. Sam,s bass solos brilliant. Danny,s drumming amazing. Stage presence excellent. You are absolutely wonderful! Love your music.❤
This band is perhaps the best I've heard in quite a while
Los GRETA VAN FLEET parecen viajeros del tiempo, tocan como si fuera WOODSTOCK, que maravilla!!!

These guys are unbelievable!. What a distinct sound . Voice and the band. I do like them .
Jake K. Is a natural born Rocker ! Awesome guitarist
We definitely need this music back , no doubt it was the best ! Lived through all the 80's rock bands!
This is late 60s to early 70s rock.
omg I wish I was there....I absolutely am addicted to this video and version of weight of dreams!!! I love this band soooo much!!!
Saw them in PITTSBURGH A FEW YEARS AGO! AMAZING!!
That guitar solo! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
IKR! Insanity!
This is a very good film of Greta Van Fleet. Never gets old - only better each show👏🏻 It is magnificent to see the world loving on them !!
"Never gets old"? 😆 Ask Bon Jovi 😂. Greta VanFleet still are kids 😃 But Yeah, GVF are really good🤘. I believe, they will get more and more experience, and surprise us even more in future : 🙂ruclips.net/user/sgaming/emoji/7ff574f2/emoji_u1f606.png😆😆
