I don't mind people playing Zeppelin inspired blues rock, what I do have an issue with is that it goes way beyond the music, but also clothing, imagery and the "hippie"-arts talk when they discuss their music:
"There's plenty of love left in this world, even though it may not seem like it. That's what 'Heat Above' is about, rising to the stars together."
It's like they're trying too hard to copy the "zeitgeist" of an era to sell a brand, rather than just playing their stuff and being authentic.

Awesome! I'll have to try some of these techniques!
As for the Led Zep & GVF thing, I think it is great these young kids pay homage with their similarity in sounds. It's just an influence, like WE ALL have! I mean, how many EVH clones did we have in the 80's! Kids today may not really know much about Led Zep, but if they are into GVF, they may go back and discover these mighty classic rock bands of our past and which I grew up on! It's all a win-win in my book. I'm glad someone is carrying the torch into the future. Keep rock alive!

The guitarist that i’d recommend for a future video would be Michael Schenker - listen to UFO’s Strangers in the Night live album. FYI, the band is Jake's dream that Josh and the guys are supporting him on. Josh wanted to act and make films, not sing. But they said that he was the natural choice to sing because he's been singing around the house his whole life. What a family.

The Radio-Friendly Led Zeppelin. When I first heard Greta Van Fleet, I thought they only ripped some Led Zeppelin tune (though this might have some pinch of truth) but now I believe they are more "clean". What I mean by clean is that the sound and lyrics doesn't sound like a drug user wrote their song(s). Because if we dig deeper in history of the 1970s music, most of the rocks songs, and even reggae, funk and ballads are songs about drugs, sex (though the casual sex thing, they were replaced by "love" or other poetic words to hide it unlike hip hop songs nowadays) - Anyway, great observation there. Please do check out also the band Dirty Honey with your kind indulgence. Thanks a lot
