To watch maestro Jansons conduct in particular this symphonic journey is spine-tingling. THIS is a portrait of a man who is completely in love with the art of making beautiful music. A riveting performance and always in my heart maestro until we meet again......
Beauty, power, precision, excitement - and inspiration. One of the last of the true greats. The return commitment from the superb orchestra says it all. Just be thankful for the recordings that ensue he lives on. R.I.P.
1. Satz / I. movement Adagio - Allegro molto 1:06 2. Satz / II. movement Largo 10:50 3. Satz / III. movement Scherzo: Molto vivace 22:53 4. Satz / IV. movement Allegro con fuoco 30:50
A truly magical interpretation. I have always loved the version by Rafael Kubelik but this one has opened up many new things about this beautiful piece.
Mariss Jansons - best conductor ever!!! R.I.P.! My personal favourite famous conductor.... I once heard him conducting Sibelius 2nd, my favourite Symphony, @ Musikverein/Vienna (maybe it was even Concertgebouw), and it brought me to tears...
Possibly one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. I'm all teared up only to type these simple words. Thank you so much for uploading this! Cheers from Brazil 🇧🇷
Was für ein Meisterwerk! Nein, Kunstwerk! Dvorak!
Indeed, far too young to die. The best of them all and I will always love him. Rest In Peace dear Maestro Jansons.

I like Dvorak. He was a fantastic Composer. Very sentimental his 9th Symphony.

Bravissimo
Not just this piece, but this might be straight up the best orchestra recording I’ve ever heard. It’s up there for sure.

Hi Adson, thanks for your amazing feedback, we're happy you enjoyed it! Cheers from Germany!
Bravo! Divino! \o/
Wunderschön
RIP Maestro Marris Jansons. To young to die.
74. Not so sure
76 years ago ( 14/01/1943. 1°/12/1919) R.I.P. Maestro.!
41:10-41:25 started with one horn and added another later is a brilliant detail. The effect is way better than two horns all the time.
76 years seems like a pretty good run, especially with all that great music made under his belt.
Die Musik meines Lebens❤

R.I.P maestro
Super.
