Absolutely superb performance, one of the best of the Peer Gynt Suite to delight my ears in decades, my Mum used to have a 78 shellac record of it, she'd play it on a Sunday sometimes or during the week whilst doing housework, all siblings would retreat to the garden to play if she put the 'Hall of the Mountain King' on 😂 ❤️ 😊 Sadly she passed in 2015.
May I have your permission to include this lovely vignette from your life in an article or a book? It’s too precious to allow to slip into obscurity. I, too, have childhood memories of playing Swan Lake on the vinyl, 33 1/3 records. I would dress myself and my younger sisters in old, sheer curtains that we were allowed to play with, and we would dance our hearts out - the perfect ballerinas. I am 66 now and those memories are comforting. Also, I would like to say that I’m sorry for the loss of your mother. She sounds like a wonderful person.

Music makes my life worthwhile
I don't enjoy modern day orchestra's at all but this group and conductor brings that feeling I used to get when listening decades ago. Absolutely beautiful. Thank you.
💝I felt so much listening to this, want to see the opera and if I can`t then will read the play and other Norwegian fairy tales as music plays. We who grew up on fairy tales. Thank You so much for the upload.🎶🎶🎶💝
Sublime. No other way to characterize it. Nothing that can be expressed in mortal terms.
