👍+1,000!
My dad gave me a few cans of King Oscars haven’t tried them yet but I will soon after watching this. Thanks
Boneless sardines are blasphemous in my mind. The bones are one of my favorite parts!
I agree ☝🏻
Same
All the vitamin d is in the bones. Gotta have em
@@jeekyboi9564 dont forget calcium
Skin and bones are where it's at...so nutritious
I'm glad I got some.Haven't tasted it yet.Glad you like it.I picked a winner, according to Matt.🤗😘
Dang, that mackerel was divine! Dare I say, “Holy Mackerel!” So glad I tried, I will definitely stock up on this little sucker.
*smack smack smack smack smack* “these aren’t the best” *smack smack smack smack*
I’m a vegetarian. This video and channel in its entirety objectively have no use for me. And yet still I watch and enjoy.
Glad you included the mackerel as I've never tried that. I like some fish but I'm so far from the coasts that it's almost all flash-frozen or canned if you want something different or from the ocean.
The mackerel is SO frickin good!! Get some.
I stopped eating these when I got a job at 12 - now you have dragged me back. Quit my job today and went to the store and loaded up on sardines
Mackerel....YUM. Before the Covid , I used to go to the all you can eat Sushi Bars, and Mackerel was what I always ended my night with.
I like it that way too. It's been a long time since I had any decent sushi.
King Oscar Mediterranean sardines are my go to. I buy them by the case. I think I pay $2.39 a can. I don’t like the Deenz in mustard or tomato sauce. Great video, maybe a little harsh towards the Oscar.
I like the two layer can
...My favorite.
I tried the mackerel and I instantly hooked, and I ordered 10 cans (Target limit online order).
It's so good I can't stop. Not to mention mackerel has crazy amount of Omega 3
I needed this. Thank you for making the video.
A 34 year old in London watching a dude in Canada eat sardines! Wow so this is what my life has come to.
He lives in New York City or suburbs.
Matt is so convincing that he has me wondering if I'll be out on the jetty next summer fightin people for their bait. Gimme dat!
“Why would you write home about sardines anyway?” 😂
If you like them, you might write home about them. Robert Burns wrote a rather famous poem about haggis. ;)
Not sure how it took this long to get this in my feed. I love tinned fish, smoked oysters, etc. King Oscar bristlings are a favorite. Here in the states, Chicken of the Sea Spratlings in oil are surprisingly good for very cheap. Enjoying your channel, sir.
Hey man, love what you do, I love sardines big time, but also smoked oysters, the clams as well, you gotta do videos , squid, octopus , anchovies, man I eat anchovies, like mad, right out of the can, Do you like Escargot ? Froglegs ? Crawdads, ? I bet you would love them all ! Caviar fan ? Do Videos on this stuff man.....Thanks bunches,
Cod Fish.

I'm not huge on Chicken of the Sea for regular sardines but they do a very good Mediterranean style that I have consistently bought for work.
The tomato sauce and the jalapeño ones are awesome! Medditeranian is good too
I think jalapeno anything is very promising!
@@CannedFishFiles the way you reviewed the medditeranian, you might be dissapointed. A pinch of garlic powder and some fresh parmesan cheese will make the tomato sauce ones glorious!
Watched the how to eat sardines vid randomly yesterday. Never tried them. Never really gave them much thought to be honest. I picked up some king Oscar boneless/skinless ones at the store today. Ate them on top of saltines. Wow, I’ve been missing out. New favorite snack. Thank you for opening my eyes lol
I love deenz. Just the whole ones in evoo no need to dress it up although I did try the cracked pepper ones and liked them a lot.
I know this is an old video, but the expression on Matt's face in the thumbnail is what a fish sees two seconds before getting snatched by an osprey. My man is channeling piscivory from some unseen plane whence all fish-eating beasts of the world originate.
