I recently went to longhorn steakhouse (today) and got the outlaw ribeye and omg it was so good. I've been to Peter Luger and if I'm being honest I prefer the longhorn steakhouse steak. At least the outlaw ribeye it was so juicy
I go to Longhorn when I want a steak. But now I have to go somewhere else if I want a prime rib. What happened to the prime rib? In case it's not obvious. Bring back the prime rib.
I feel like the idea of wanting marbling (e.g fat) is at odds with the steak being hard to chew. Nothing tires my jaw more than chewing a piece of bubble gum fat in my steak
Snowden River LongHorn Columbia Maryland steakhouse does not have Russian or thousand Island dressing and no cocktail sauce for their seafood dips and doesn't have a variety shrimp platter on the menu ?????
No matter what, I wouldn't order fillet anywhere unless great chimichurri 🤣😂, filet has no beef flavor.. get bone in grilled ribeye med/RARE👊, not the pan 12oz skillet ribeye.. to eat a bone in ribeye, cut cap off and consume, or flash freeze send to me, cut the eye off leaving meat on bone, flash freeze bone and meat to me, slice the eye on byass and bites, if full up in appetizer, send while flash frozen ribeye to me🤣😂🤣😂🤣🤣😂🤣👍🤫
@BrentCameron-jp7pl I'd argue it depends on your doneness preference (for me, the rarer, the better). Maybe you just got a bad piece when you went. As for ribeyes, I'd recommend the Outlaw.
I will Absolutely Never eat at Longhorn in Lebanon Pa again. I took my blutooth speaker, it may have been a lil loud tbh n the manager, some blond woman demanded I turn it off, I said I won't turn it off but I'll turn it down. NO! TURN IT OFF! (we hadn't gotten our food yet she said I can get ur food to go?). She said I was being combative. I'm a 57 yr old disabled woman...we eat there every Sunday & some weekdays. Never again. Not until she is replaced. I hear ppl's phones going all the time. She said to us, you can't come in here & make your own rules. That's not what we were doing n her approach was way out of line.

I've eaten at Longhorn's once, and had the Flo's Steak. Got to go back. It was incredible.
The New York Strip at Longhorn is phenomenal. Order Medium Rare.
The Longhorn porterhouse is my personal favorite. I have never ordered anything else.
I always order Ribeye, medium rare, no matter where I go for one of my favorite foods!
I ALWAYS order the Outlaw Ribeye when I go to Longhorn.

This is just an explanation of steak cuts. Nothing specific to the restaurant.
The Renegade may be bottom of the totem pole, but you can get a 6 oz. size which is easier for my aging stomach to handle!
You can also get a 6 oz filet which is also pretty lean and should be okay for you
Pig steaks there are good too. I often get the pork chops, and they've always been tasty.

That's probably gristle that should have been removed.
As much as I love a real rib-eye, there really is nothing wrong with a good chopped steak with fixings. It all depends on how you season and cook it.
Please explain how to properly prepare a chopped steak. The hamburger patty that they gave me , was not what I was expecting
